Based in large part upon the stories that have been researched and written for the quarterly Pray, Hope, and Don't Worry publication, the book contains 47 chapters and more than 400 pages. It provides a glimpse into the life and spirituality of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, who has often been called "The greatest mystic of the 20th Century." More than thirty individuals, all who had met Padre Pio, were interviewed for this first edition book. The author and her husband, Deacon Ron Allen, have traveled to many parts of the United States in order to record the personal testimonies of Padre Pio's friends from near and far.

THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!!🙌🙏

This book was so well put together and extremely well written I was blown away by the wonderful story's inside.

If you have any interest in Padre Pio at all or you just want to read a positive and uplifting book you should definitely read this, without a doubt the best money I have ever spent.

I know i will read this book over and over.

This is a collection of first-hand accounts of Saint Pio of Pietrelcino who lived in Italy and died in 1968. Have you ever heard of him? I hadn't. What a fascinating man! I highly recommend this book, or any book on him. It'll change your life, and it just might save your soul.

I am surprised that more people don't know who Padre Pio is or how closely he resembled Jesus in his ability to perform miracles, read other's thoughts, live a life of simplicity and austerity and bear the wounds of the cross. He lived until 1968 and bore the stigmata for 50 years (wounds corresponding to those left on Jesus' body by the Crucifixion). He was an Italian priest who lived and worked in a remote monastery in Southern Italy. This book is mind-blowing in its first hand accounts and testimonials of people who were healed or whose loved ones were healed by Padre Pio or experienced psychic phenomenon through their connection to him (one of his gifts was the ability to bi-locate or be in more than one place at a time).

This book is a collection of testimonials from various people who knew or met Padre Pio. After awhile, they all started to sound alike but with different names. Doesn't give in depth knowledge about Padre Pio, seemed somewhat superficial.

I have absolutely enjoyed reading this book. Interesting and moving throughout. It is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, books concerning St. Pio. I appreciate the time and effort that, no doubt, went into compiling such a story, collecting testimonies of those whose lives have been spiritually, and/or physically aided by the holy Capuchin priest, Padre Pio. The stories themselves are beautiful, and testify that saints truly hear our prayers and intercede for us. Reading this lovely book has increased my love and devotion to my patron saint. St. Pio, pray for us!

This book definitely made me fall in love with this heroic saint. I enjoyed reading about the fact that he wasn't fluffy and full of love for everyone he actually cared so much for the soul that he would often not even give the penitent reconciliation because they were not truly sorry for their sins. I learned a lot about this beautiful saint, and it definitely made me want to ask of his intercession more and more. He was so selfless.

It was so moving and wonderful, that I bought volume two. I read this book during my Adoration time at church. Sometimes it's hard to save it, but my alone time with God is where I do my best reading, praying and exploring the many gifts of God. Saint Padre Pio is a great gift, and this book can show you why.

I loved this book! Not necessarily the best written book I've ever read, but in this case, I really don't think it matters. The author interviewed many people who have experiencedd graces through Padre Pio's intercession, and the stories are incredible! Padre Pio might be my new favorite saint- what an incredible man!

As the title says, True Stories. So many lives touched and changed by this great Saint. Padre Pio, intercede and pray for me, my family, and friends. This is a POWERFUL book, if you open your heart and mind before reading/listening to even a small portion of this…I hope, in some way it touches your heart. ☮️❤️

This is good book for learning about the life of Padre Pio. It shows what a wonderful priest he was. This helps to understand the lives of saints and gives inspiration to live the way he lived. Some of the miracles he performed are very impressive. A very good read.

Padre pio frenzy!! I never realize how many people live that is impacted. It was pretty awesome to hear the stories, miracles and lives that were changed. I am skeptical of ask Padre pio and your prayers will be answered, But I enjoy hearing the testimonies of answer prayers.
