Fake dating my billionaire boss to get revenge on my ex? Yes please. But falling for him? That’s something I vowed never to do again.
Isaac Winter is the fourth-generation owner of the legendary 5th Ave hotel that bears his last name. He’s at the top of New York high society… and I’ve just left it behind.
When he hires my company, I’m thrust into endless meetings with him, determined to impress the cold, untouchable leader of the Winters.
The last thing I expected was to start fake dating him.
He needs his match-making family to take a step back. And me? Revenge on my cheating ex-husband sounds great, and even better when it’s with a man whose name opens every door in the city.
The line between fake and real soon gets smudged by our late-night conversations. Isaac’s driven, passionate, intelligent… and far less controlled than he seems. Revenge feels deliciously suite.
But I’m done with rich New York men and their cheating ways. They think they can buy anything they want… but my heart’s not for sale.
Hi there! I'm Olivia. I write romance with billionaire heroes (despite never having met one in person). They're strong, ambitious, they don't need love... until they meet the women who change their minds.
I love witty banter, smart heroines, big cities and perfectly tailored suits. You'll find all four in every one of my books! 💜
READING ORDER You can read any of the books as standalones, because each book follows a new couple. But if you ask me? This is my personal preference...
The Connovan Chronicles - Best Enemies Forever - The Perfect Mistake - One Wrong Move
New York Billionaires - Think Outside the Boss - Saved by the Boss - Say Yes to the Boss - A Ticking Time Boss - Suite on the Boss - 12 Days of Bossmas
Seattle Billionaires - Billion Dollar Enemy - Billion Dollar Beast - Billion Dollar Catch - Billion Dollar Fiancé
Brothers of Paradise - Dark Eyed Devil - Ice Cold Boss - Red Hot Rebel - Small Town Hero
Standalones - Arrogant Boss - Look But Don't Touch - The Billionaire Scrooge Next Door - How to Honeymoon Alone
DNF @ 36% I am bored out of my GOURD. Nothing is happening aside from marketing plans for a hotel. Zero chemistry but plenty of yawns. 2*snore fest*stars!!!!
Sophia is freshly divorced and throwing herself into her consulting job to cope. Isaac is a hotel chain boss and a prospective client. They are attracted to each other but Sophia is still affected by what her ex did and Isaac doesn't want to mix business and pleasure.
Series status: You could read this as a stand-alone but then you'd be missing a great book about Isaac's brother. Just saying. I love this author's polished writing, she has way of putting things in words that gives me the feels. I have highlighted half this book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really liked the story and I liked the characters. Sophie was an independent, smart and strong woman, she was a great example of a hard working female lead. Isaac was the same way. They literally talk about how similar they are. I loved that he fell first, he was open to a relationship from the beginning and didn't mind waiting for Sophie.
My only problem was that the love story wasn't well developed. I swear we got to 80% of the book and she was still hang up on her ex. Well, that may not be totally true, she wasn't hang up on her ex but rather still hurt from his actions. However, the ex was mentioned so many times that he felt like the third person in the room. That didn't leave much space for the romance to flourish so I didn't really feel the connection and chemestry between the two main leads. I only felt it at the end and that almost had me giving the book 4 stars, but I just couldn't ignore the rest.
I wish the story was less focused on how her ex was an idiot and more on how she opened her heart to Isaac. Because she tried, but the other stuff was still there.
Overall this is a 3.5 read for me because the story wasn't as exciting or romantic as I was expecting it to be. I absolutely adore Olivia's writing and will keep reading her books because she's awesome and she creates characters that actually go to teraphy (or at least mention going to) and there isn't usually a huge miscommunication problem between her characters.
I read some people mention how pragmatic and cold their relationship was, and though I agree with the later, I think I actually liked the pragmatic part. We should normalize having an open communication with your partner, protecting yourself legally and morally, and actually listening to your partner's needs, desires and hopes for the future.
This book was slow, so incredibly slow. Then finally when you see the couple start to actually progress you find out that the MMC doesn’t give a dang about fidelity, which is a huge sticking point for the FMC, and yet she somehow quickly convinces herself that just because he helped someone commit adultery, that he somehow won’t cheat on her in the future, just like her ex did.
There is literally no reason why she gets over this huge thing. She just does mental gymnastics to convince herself that it’s totally fine and not a massive red flag.
Authors shouldn’t make the third act break up so significant to the hurt character if they aren’t able to write their way to a logical and satisfying ending. This was completely awful.
I’ve never been cheated on and even I wouldn’t trust this man as far as I could throw him.
3.5 stars The first 70% of this was excellent and then it went down the drain with that Beverly drama. I hate the unnecessary third act breakup and this one was so unfounded.
This was a nice surprise, in terms of the story evolution and the chemistry between the characters.
I really liked how the story started. They have a first encounter in his hotel almost a year prior the story begins.
They started a professional relationship (he is owner of an hotel chain and wants to open other locations, and she works in a sort of designer company that chooses the best approaches for a new construction), but things slowly start to develop.
He needs someone to attend events and would like a date so that is family no longer bothers him with that, and she wouldn't mind making her ex cheating husband jealous, so they start fake dating and soon this start to get more romantic.
I really liked the romance part of the book, because they had an amazing chemistry. They were communicative with each other, they liked each other but, towards the end, we have the 3rd act break-up that I didn't much like because it was something that was sort of a deal breaker for Sophia, and Isaac really messed up. I'm happy that in the end eveything turned out okay, but it was not what I was expecting.
"But I realize now, in more ways than one, that I'd confused an errant ray of sunshine for the whole sun"
I loved this story about Sophia and Isaac and their lovely friendship with witty and fun banter that's progressed into fake dating with revenge purposes that later transforms in a true connection.
I'm a big fan of the Winter's brother's, Anthony's my favorite MMC in the series (and his book's my favorite as well) and Isaac was becoming a 2nd in line until the 3rd act breakup (rushed, didn't make much sense to me, changed the whole flow of the story and frankly annoyed me so much. Not because of what happened but how it happened).
I love reading romance but sometimes i'm just so tired. This series have been a great read and i'm sadly disappointed with how it ended.
I usually love these billionaire reads. Probably something I shouldn't admit too, but it's just true. This one had some real issues with verb tense and edit errors, but overall I thought it was a fun read. And then it dives dirty and I was done.
Content: Quite descriptive Language: Lots of language, several f-bombs Religious: No
This was going to be 4/4.5 stars until the third act conflict happened. It just seemed so far out of left field, and not what was hinted at throughout the story. I also just felt like the chemistry between the two main characters was lacking, but I liked Isaac’s personality a lot so that was the saving grace
3.5⭐️ Fast, cute, low angst read. I would have preferred more details and fewer scene transitions which left me and my expectations hanging. Also more thought going into the 3rd act breakup would have been nice, but that’s just me. On the whole I liked all the MCs in this series. Looking forward to “Bossmas.”
I was finally starting to get into them as a couple and then his secret came out. In my opinion she should not have taken him back, he’s just as guilty as her ex and when she confronted him he said she was in the wrong for being mad??And then SHE apologized? Definitely wish the series would have ended with the four business partners.

The dialogue was really stilted to the point where even their intimate moments sounded like they were writing an email or in a meeting I got tired reading 😭
So yeah, I went in expecting this to match—or even top—book two, since everything about it started off fun and smooth. The first 80% was excellent, but then "that" drama hit and dragged the story down. I'm glad things were fixed by the end, though I wish the closure and climax had been handled differently tho.
Suite on the Boss starts strong, with Isaac and Sophia's professional connection slowly shifting into fake dating; partly to ease his family's pressure and partly to make her cheating ex jealous. Their banter is fun, their chemistry feels natural, and Isaac's openness to love from the beginning makes him an appealing lead. Sophia is independent and hardworking, and their similarities give the relationship a solid base.
But the romance never fully develops, lingering too long on her past hurt and then derailing with a rushed third‑act breakup that feels out of nowhere. The Beverly drama completely shifts the flow of the story, making the final conflict more irritating than impactful. It feels as if Olivia forced it in just to stir the plot. Sophia's stubbornness and denial of her feelings frustrated me, especially when Isaac was still trying to fight for "them"—wanting to talk it through and clear things up. Her walls are relatable given her awful ex, but the focus stayed too long on that pain. I did adore Isaac's effort to win her back, especially with Anthony (my favorite MMC from book two) stepping in to help. The ending patches things up, but I wanted more substance there. The spark wasn't flat, just…so‑so, and the third‑act breakup proved the relationship lacked maturity even if they were both are strictly adults. It had the potential to be a 4.5‑star read, yet the late missteps drag it down and giving the 'oh just like that' vibes.
And, oh, I'm so very glad to find that Neill Thorne and Meg Price brought this book to life. Both delivered solid performances, I especially enjoyed Meg's male voice, which came across as surprisingly strong and even kinda hot, while Neill's female tones worked well enough too. I've heard them before in The Billionaire Scrooge Next Door, and I'd love to see them paired again in a full duet project someday. Here's hoping to that happens in the future🥂
Overall, binge‑reading this series was just so‑so. Book two and book five stood out the most for me, though even they weren't perfect. The rest mostly gave off "oh, just like that" vibes, pleasant enough but not especially memorable. I don't regret the binge, but I do wish the found‑family element had been as strong as in the Connovan Chronicles. Each book can be read as a standalone, so if billionaire romances are your thing, this series might still be worth trying.
This was definitely the best book of the series. Although there were still some “come stay at mine” 🙄, I chose to overlook it. The audio narrators were the best of the series as well. We only really got to meet Isaac in Anthony’s book so it was a bit different than the rest of the books in the series in that regard, but so, so good. I definitely recommend this series and I will be reading more of the author’s books. I do wish she would read some of the reviews and leave out the Britishisms. In a different mood, I might hold it against the book.
I loved Isaac, I think he was my favourite in this book.
But then, i love all the Winters brothers so that isn't really a surprise, is it?
I did like the heroine, Sophie, she was strong, and hard-working and really likeable.
What the story is about?
Well, Sophie catches her husband shagging some hussy in the Winters Hotel and when trying to leave, all shaky and in tears, she bumps into Isaac, who helps her calm down and hails her a cab.
The story picks up a year later, when Sophie is already divorced and she gets to work on a project, a pitch for Isaac's company.
And he, of course, remembers her.
And so they keep bumping into each other, more on purpose, rather than by accident. They clearly seek each other's company and are equally fascinated with one another.
And then, at some point Isaac proposes they go to some function together and pretend they are a couple because he knows Soph's dumbass ex will be there and he not only knows him, but he kinda hates his guts. And he likes Soph, so he wants him to suffer.
And that's how the whole fake dating started.
And they were so cute together!
What i didn't like?
3 things really:
1. the fact that the heroine acted as if she was still hung up on her idiotic cheating ex husband
2. the fact that she was so needy and she was the one who practically begged Isaac to sleep with her and it made her look kinda desperate and pathetic and call me old-fashioned but I like it when my heroes take the initiative and take the first step, not the heroine
3. the fact that they make assumptions about what the other one wants throughout the story instead of having an honest conversation like two adults, that was just annoying
I did like the third-act break up and the reason behind it.
I did not see that coming, believe me you.
But we of course have a HEA, the heroine finally gets her head out of her ass and tells her ex to fuck off and she and Isaac finally make up.
I really liked it, despite the 3 things that bugged me.
And this whole series is sooooo freaking good!!!
I still have book 4 to read, so I think I'll just go straight for it.
Isaac Winter meets Sophia at one of her most vulnerable moments. Months later she reenters Isaac's life and he finds that they both have something in common. Sophia wants a pretend date and Isaac wants a pretend woman in his life to keep the matchmakers away. Neither expected to fall in love.
I thought this was very slow, took awhile to get into and even then slow.
“Fake Dating your Boss to get revenge on your cheating Ex-Husband?”
YES PLEASE!
Olivia Hayle wrote another great addition to her New York Billionaire series. This is Sophia and Isaac’s story. They accidentally met in Isaac’s Hotel because of an unfortunate circumstance. Almost a year passed, Sophia, newly divorced and is now career driven, was hired by Isaac’s company to do consultant job. Both have attractions to each other however Sophia made it clear that she no longer wants to be involved with the upper east side men and for Isaac, he experienced a past closely relating to her and his sole focus is the company passed on to him by his Family. No mixing business with pleasure. Yet another run in with a circumstance made them agree to fake date. Fake dating will always involved feelings and both were clear what they can only give however as they navigate their attraction to each other, fake becomes real. The past experiences becomes a problem and I just love that it was resolved because both characters communicated very well.
I love the characters are well matched and the conversations are so mature and professional. The development of their meet up from the start until they meet again was fantastic. I love how the author made Sophia career driven after the divorce, love how she stand up for herself with the confrontation with her ex. Isaac’s character is not the typical alpha CEO but he is more mild and logical.
Overall, If you want, sweet, light drama and easy read, this book is for you!
Honestly, this review is harder to do because I was really liking Issac until the revelation that he was the side piece for Beverly. And then he was insistent that Sophia was still in love with Percy and it couldn't possibly be that she was upset knowing he took part in an affair, which he absolutely should have disclosed when he first brought her up given Sophia's history. I also don't like that she apologized at all since nothing she said was untrue, he is just like Percy, he doesn't take marriage vows or relationships seriously. The story would have been way better (and Issac's character would have stayed intact) had the author not added this needless development. Making Issac into a terrible person in the third act was a terrible choice. I almost didn't finish the book because I can't stand cheating or rooting for cheaters. This is one time I was hoping there wasn't a HEA because Issac doesn't deserve it.

This book kind of solidified for me that I’m not a stan of friends-ish to lovers. Felt like it was 60% winter hotel 15% of divorce talk and the other 25% was actually them. Honestly by now feel like I could write an essay on the winter hotels franchise. Definitely the weakest of all the books…
I slogged through the story. A little boring. I liked both main characters, but their conversations were so formal and dry. I loved the first two stories in this series.
Ah..... Overall, I enjoyed the series, but I could not finish this book. I was so hopeful Isaac would get his happy story, but yowza. These two should probably just go their separate ways because their morals don't align and there isn't much chemistry. Sigh....
Let me start by saying I discovered Olivia Hayle a couple months back. I loved her books and quickly read all of them within a week lol.
Suite on the Boss… whew 😅 I was immediately drawn into the book within the first few pages when Sophia was seen running out of the hotel with security hot on her tail and In distress. Here comes Isaac walking over to talk to her to discover she seen her husband having an affair. Like woah we just went right in the book with drama 😱. I knew from that moment that Isaac found her person and Sophia was given a second shot at love. I just has that huntch immediately.
Months after that Encounter they meet again but this time at a work meeting. Sophia who works at (Exciteur) is pitching a new hotel chain to Isaac Winters . She realizes quickly that the encounter she had months before was with the CEO of Winter hotel was that in fact Isaac Winters.
Isaac had been feeling a lot or pressure from his family to get out and start dating again. Sophia wanted to seem as if she moved on from her ex cheating husband as he was seen out at an event with his mistress. They both make a plan to start “fake dating” and going to events together.
Of course that didn’t last long before they both started to get feelings towards each other. I immediately loved the back and forth banter between the two of them and how they could just be themselves around each other.
Although. It wasnt always easy and they had up and downs they conquered it and figured it and of course Got their HEA .
If you love Millionaire books and HEA with a pinch of drama this book is a must read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
I had got an ARC copy and this my honest review of the book!
Olivia Hayle does not disappoint in the fifth installment of her New York Billionaires series. Anthony is my favorite Olivia Hayle character, so I was excited that we were getting his brother Issac's story! We only got a glimpse of him and his life (years prior to when the story is happening now) in Anthony and Summer's story.
Sophia is newly divorced and leading a team at Exciteur (which we have seen in previous books!) She is pitching a new hotel chain to the CEO of Winter hotels, Issac Winter. Sophia is not looking to date; and is definitely not looking to date another Upper East Side jerk.
Issac Winter has been single without any prospects for years since his then fiancé cheated on him. His family has been pressuring him to find love, but he wants nothing to do with it.
Sophia and Issac see an opportunity to benefit them both - they will fake date, so that Sophia's ex sees her with someone else and Issac's family finally sees him with someone. We all know what happens when characters fake date; things get complicated when feelings start to get involved.
Both of these characters were definitely jaded based on their own experiences with past relationships and love. They were able to compliment each other and move forward towards love, which neither of them saw coming.
I really enjoyed this book and am going to miss this series!
Thanks Olivia and Booksprout for sending me a copy of this to read.
This book follows the very sultry Issac Winter of the Winter hotels. The CEO who keeps the business afloat so that everyone can have their piece of the fortune.
Sophia is a women from a small town who lives to New York to make a life for herself. When we first meet Sophia she is running through the corridors of the winter hotel after finding her husband cheating on her.
Issa spots her and tries to console her like a true gent. 1 year and 1 divorce later Sophia is proving just how much of a valuable assets she is I. Her work and is projecting to the winter hotels for their new hotel brand. Only she doesn't expect to see Isaac and neither does he her but bit are they both glad.
They fight their attraction but then use each other as buffers against family/ Exs from the New York elite.
The attraction they have for each other is held off soo much it makes this book a really slow burn. These two really just click together I just found it a little irritating at times with how slow it was.
I did enjoy reading this book though and would recommend that you use your own views after reading.
Healing Their Broken Heart For A Happy Life - Isaac runs into Sophia just after she discovered her husband’s betrayal and they both never expected to see each other again after they went their separate ways. However, fate brought them back into each other’s lives and working together had them embarking on a fake relationship that turned real. Unfortunately, Isaac’s past returns and creates a rift in their budding relationship, but time apart made them both realise they actually wanted to be together.
This is a really awesome book, that you don’t want to miss. The characters have their own issues, but they just can’t stop the heat that simmers between them. The storyline is filled with of different emotions and that make this a worthwhile page turner. I enjoyed reading every minute of this book and look forward to reading more from this author.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sophia & Isaac first came face to face at a terrible moment in her life, and they wouldn't come face to face again around a year & a divorce later as she's hired as a consultant by his company. Of course neither wants anything to do with a relationship, her because of the cheating ex, and he won't mix business with pleasure but the best laid plans amirite?! And then they decided to fake date due to circumstances in each of their lives, but you already know that the fake won't stay fake forever or will it?! The sparks did fly, and yet, it was a bit of a slow burn at the same time but I won't reveal why I felt that way because it could have just been me. Suite on the Boss was a page turner that I read in one sitting, and now it's your turn to hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Suite on the Boss by Olivia Hayle is book 5 in the New York Billionaires Series. This is the story of Isaac and Sophia. Sophia is still fresh from her divorce and is throwing herself into her work. Isaac is the CEO of Winter hotels and is a positional client for Sophia. Isaac is a single man after he found out his fiancé was cheating on him. This of course has darken is look at love despite his family trying to encourage him to find someone. Both feel the pull to each other but both has previous issues that they will have to work out. Enjoyed this book.
