Alive or dead? Hunted or the hunter? Hide, stand, or run?
Satan wants me dead. Someone unknown wants me taken alive. Why am I so special? I don’t even know what I am. My survival depends on finding out, which means finding my father–a man who abandoned me before I was born. But how do I save myself when I don’t know who to trust?
My men claimed me, said they would do anything for me, but can I rely on them to keep me safe? Will they keep their word, or betray me? I’m drowning in this new paranormal world, holding onto my sanity by a thread. I can’t even control my own powers. No matter where I go, nothing and nowhere feels safe. The shadows are closing in around me, and the light at the end of the tunnel is dimming.
Everyone is counting on me to change the world, but I can barely handle the changes within myself. My own life, and those of my men, family, friends, and billions of strangers are in my hands. I don’t care what the consequences are, I’ll fight to the ends of the earth to protect what’s mine. You’ll have to kill me to stop me…and good luck with that.
This is the second book in the series. To read the beginning of Diana's journey, check out In Death We Part.
I didn't know how Maggie would top In Death We Part but boy howdy did this deliver. Spice, story, and ANOTHER cliffy-bo-biffy. I remember pre-ordering this directly after finishing the first and now I'm thinking I need to add physical copies to my Christmas lists.
If you're on the fence about these books and looking for reasons NOT to read. DO NOT READ IF MM isn't your thing Heroes sharing the heroine doesn't tickle your fancy Several pages of intimate, passionate love making between multiple partners sends you into fits of jealous rage of heroine (we've all been there) 'Heroes' who sometimes can be classified as villians make your goody-two-shoes tie themselves into knots and not the good kind of knot A curvaceous hottie for a FMC a too much for you to handle
Okay, so this is the second book in M. Bonnet’s Dangerous Lovers dark paranormal why choose? romance series, and I thought it was a fantastic read!
Diana is a wonderful heroine because she’s bold and sassy, and she isn’t afraid to stand up for herself when necessary. I loved her snarky side as well!
As for each of Diana’s love interests - Desmond, Ares, Bash, Mal, and Azazel - they’re all completely psychotic and utterly obsessed with her, which is really fun to read about. 5 freaking stars!
PNR // Why Choose // Fierce FMC // Morally Gray Alphaholes // MM // Multi POV // Cliffhanger
“Little Goddess, you can tell me you love me, because I could never, ever get sick or tired of you. You’re my everything. You’re our everything. We’re fighting this war for you, because you complete our family.”
In the Devil’s Shadow is book two in the Dangerous Lovers series and picks up right where In Death We Part finished.
I LOVE this series and absolutely devoured this book.So much happened that I don’t even know where to start!
Diana is a queen! She is fierce as hell and doesn’t take crap from anyone. I love that she has found her voice and is standing her ground.
Now those hunky men, OMG. I am obsessed with Bash, Zaz, Mal and Des, but Ares has my heart and always will! That man is crazy and I fricken love everything about him!
I just loved all of it. The plot, the banter, the character development and the smut 🥵 My god, the smut 🥵 I AM OBSESSED!
I need answers now after that cliffhanger! I cannot wait for the next book in the series 🤍
Not me yelling expletives at my kindle as I finish this book 🤣. There were absolutely no warnings when I started this series of how addicting it would be. I've seriously given up watching Yellowstone (husband isn't happy about that) the last 3 nights in a row to binge. IT'S WORTH IT. Every time I think I know what is going on I'm shown otherwise in some spectacular twist. I'm obsessed and you should be too.
"Diana, my dear daughter, you have some explaining to do."
First, it is rare for a sequel book to outshine the first one. This is due to the shift from witches to angels. After a near-death experience, Diana questions her abilities and the men she has chosen to love. From the obsessive nature of Ares and Sebastian to the hesitation of Desmond and Malcolm. With the presence of Azazel, Diana’s guardian angel, Diana realizes that her lineage is complex. Like the previous book, In the Devil’s Shadow ends on a cliffhanger, the story ends after the appearance of Lucifer, and we wait till 2023 for the third installment.
*Review with Minor Spoilers* The constant reveals of Diana’s parents were constant whiplashes. The fact that Lucifer and Michael were an on-and-off couple. Regarding Diana, I have to say her anger towards Desmond, Ares, and Sebastian is warranted. In the first book, Diana lets these men take her from her family and home without question, all to protect her family. After she survives the attack from Satan, Diana realizes that these men are keeping way too much from her. Typically, information regarding her lineage, Desmond, and Sebastian’s past with Azazel. Even as Diana starts getting information about her family, she doesn’t have anyone to turn to since she suspects that people know or have suspicions. As the book ends, we get insight into Lucifer’s thoughts regarding Diana. The cliffhanger of pretty insane, especially since Michael is the bad guy based on his actions.
Maggie Bonnet blew me away with this second book in the Dangerous Lovers series. Just as phenomenal as In Death We Part, In the Devil's Shadow kept up with the exciting plotline and dropped so many truth bombs on us along the way. Turns out, there is much more to Diana than previously assumed. A witch? Yes. But she's got more to her that brings a lot of surprises in the form of family. We get to experience instant bonds of kinship as well as some well expected tension. I really enjoyed that it wasn't a simple reunion. Diana is such a strong character and I'm glad that she stands up for and questions actions that she doesn't feel are easily forgivable. Just because you're blood doesn't mean you are family or get to dictate what happens in someone else's life, something that I think a couple people will have to learn as the story continues. Actions speak, so I'm hoping better connections will form as Diana gets to know her long lost family members more.
Along with new relationships developing as new characters are introduced, there is also a ton of relationship development within the main group. Whereas we always saw the negative and angry side of Mal in the previous book, we see a much more devoted and sweeter side to him, determined to win Diana. Diana's feelings toward him are a bit complicated as she wrestles with the memories of the harsh words and near death/death experiences with him, but you can see how he breaks her walls down by how well he treats her. Azazel is also included more in this book but with him comes the past relationship issues he had with Desmond and Bash, so there are complications there but also a budding introduction back into their old relationship as they get past a long awaited talk and explanation of why things didn't work out and what really happened to cause the issues in the first place. I don't think that this particular conversation would have ever been possible without Diana being involved with all of them and essentially forcing them back into each other's orbit.
The cliffhanger to this book wasn't as bad as the one from the first book I don't think but still has a pretty big impact. Not so much as a throw your phone across the room from anger or heartbreak type of ending but it definitely proved that the big guns are being brought out and things are going to change in their favor. It's going to make for a very interesting and action filled sequel full of drama.
Hold onto whatever you can because this book takes you for a ride. When we first start off, we get to see how Zaz came to be, and what happened to him.
When we get into it, we see everything from Desmond’s POV, while they’re still at the airport. And if you remember, all frkn hell has broken loose, and it’s getting worse as the guys sit around. We get the guys POV & what exactly happens to Mal, plus our friend Zaz gets in contact with the guys.
Once the merry band of hot mess express is back together, just not together together. Truths start to come flying out of the wood work. We’re told who Diana’s father is, and when I say there’s a plot twist, you aren’t ready for it.
The alpha-hole personalities come out full force from almost all of Diana’s guys. There are some moments in the book where I wanted to play whack a mole with Bash & Desmond’s heads being the moles. Ares’ inner monologue & POV is probably my favorite of the entire book, the little voice and the things that it says I was cackling so hard at times!
One of the things I really appreciated this book besides the 🌶️, cause that was 🥵🥵. Was that the guys were trying their best to be honest & actually include Diana in their decisions. This was one of her main issues, among all the other sh1t the guys have done 🙄.
Without giving spoilers away I’ll touch on some things that were some of my favorite moments or quotes 💫
“Big Bird Feathers McGee” 🤣🤣🤣
Mal, don’t write him off just yet 🤐
Des, Bash, Ares & Zaz having their long over due chat
Diana coming into her powers more and discovering there’s so much more to her!
Oisin - this one made my head spin.
Last be certainly not least... the last line spoken by our new POV character... the audaaaaaaaaaaaacity. The audacity of this person, man I can't wait for Diana to put them in their place!
tldr; You need to read this book, the twists, turns, WTF moments (there’s a lot of those), 🥵🌶️🥵🌶️, and all of the truths that come out. You won’t regret it!

This is such an awesome world and the new characters in this one have gone nuts!! I had to write some down as there was so many to keep in check 🤣
I love the pace of these books, it’s fairly fast which keeps you totally engaged, but not to fast that you loose the integrity, the amazingly different characters, the different worlds we meet or the plot itself, its all just fab.
I‘m so excited to meet Lǔcífer and explore his character and how the dynamics may change in the next book, especially exited to see how he can support Diana’s magical growth.
I love Diana’s fierce, feisty and independent nature and how she deals with her men, often it’s so funny to read. Poor Bash, I do feel sorry for him as he fights his pøssëssíveness and øbsëssive nature when it comes to his bond with Diana. Ares continues to be my absolute favourite, (as Charlie so rightly says), Ares is a totally a pśychø-golden retriever-hairy Care Bear 🥰.
There is a lots and I mean a lot of s*x in this book, which for me to say to myself ‘again’ says something, 😂🤣however it’s super høt and I løve that Mal has been forgiven and is now apart off her härem.
Yet again we are left on a frustrating cliffhanger, I‘m just so glad all the books are out already. I really hope Desmond and Noona are ok?? 🤞
In The Devil's Shadow: Dangerous Lovers Book 2 by Maggie Bonnet is a fantastic paranormal reverse harem. It picks up when Diana disappears while dying. I hate spoiling anything from this book. So well leave it at this, then men do not lose Diana as they previously feared. However it leads to reveal of her parentage and some siblings, with one closer than she could have ever guessed. With the escape of Red they realize they will need allies in the war that's coming. Will they be able to accomplish all they need to before time runs out?
In the Devil's Shadow is packed full of action. Diana's magic has progressed quite a lot in the few months since she discovered she wasn't human. There always seems to be some type of battle brewing. This story is filled with secrets and tons of twists that continue to surprise readers. As Diana and crew continue to gain supporters, readers gain knowledge of the various supernatural creatures that exist in their world. The focus of this book is more about Diana gaining knowledge of her powers and keeping her friends and family close while making plans to overthrow the underworld. Readers gain a sense of urgency as time begins to run out.
I rate In The Devil's Shadow 5 out of 5 stars. As the second book in the series it just gets better and better. The book has a wonderful flow mixing action with explorations of the world and downtown that often results in $ex time. Bonnet gives readers some of the steamiest scenes with bonuses from the non-human men that all possess a little extra in the bedroom. The characters are fabulous and I love the growth they undergo throughout the book, as their love for Diana grows. I recommend the book for adults only due to graphic $ex scenes, some violence, and triggers. If you have triggers please check the content warning for the book. If you love your paranormal reverse harem dark with unhinged possessive males that love their kinks and keep you panting for more, then In The Devil's Shadow is your next must read!
This was, without a doubt, a five star, one-handed read 🥵😈 #iykyk
I love reading Maggie’s books and I swear they just get better with each release. I’m always hooked from the get-go and devour them in a matter of hours because I just can’t put them down. In The Devil’s Shadow was no exception.
It starts off with a prologue that finally gives us Azazel’s story and then jumps right back into the deep end and the aftermath of Book 1. We get Desmond’s POV first and boy, is it a doozy! I loved every time we stepped into each male’s POV because they became so much more fleshed out! I usually always check my feminism at the door of a dark romance and these guys definitely don’t make it easy with their possessive, alpha ways but learning where they were coming from made it easier to get on board the crazy train.
I loved how absolutely and unapologetically unhinged Ares was, we finally got to see a softer, more vulnerable side to Desmond and Mal, and Bash was a psycho, as per usual. Zaz joining the crew really tied them all together and I loved the humour he brought with him. Diana was just as awesome, impulsive, bratty and badass as in the first book. She really got to let loose in this book and it was amazing to see.
The spice was HOT HOT HOT 🔥 If you don’t like swords crossing then this book is not the one for you because the polyamory was ripe and I loved every minute of it! We had tail play, knotting, a breeding kink, breath play, praise, degradation, and dirty talk galore!!
I highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a dark why choose romance with a side of dark humour, depravity, spice up the wazoo, and all sorts of drama to keep you going! You will not regret it!
Where do i even begin with this one? Lets start at the end that cliffhanger? Yeah i hate that i loved it, it made me slap my tablet on my knees out of anger/frustration? Who the heck knows lol.
Anyways book 2 in this amazing series and it noe has to share top #1 book i read this year with the first book.
So as we follow Diana and her Penis parade.. sorry couldnt type that without laughing Oisin you devil for making that one!
I absolutely LOVE this journey and the way Diana and the guys grow together some finaly get over their issues and some are forgiven for what they did, and it feels good to see how much efford he put into it and now? Yeah the good feelings in my jellies are happy.
Ares! My sweet unhinged and crazy cinnemon roll.. big bird feathers mcgee yeah i just couldnt resist i mean he is stil my absolute favorite just because he is so unhinged, crazy and talks to his immer voice as if its someone else! He just cracks me up so so much. At 70% that ares chapter alone had me laughing so so much i nearly had tears running down my legs. Ares is pure comedy gold! The others are fun and bring their own unique to the relationship too tho and by gosh did i laugh like a demented hyena on too much caffeine lol.
And then there the hot steamy sexy times! Oh boy.. hot and steamy are a big under statement it was supernova hot! Lets leave that as it is because it would be too many spoilers.
Maggie sure knows how to write! Doesnt shy away from rough strong foul langues i LOVE it anf the details in sexy time.. *insert greedy hand emoji* keep those comming because my dreams will never be the same again lol.
This book is a must read i swear you wont regret it!
Now i wait patiently *not because am greedy* for book 3!
I just love this series from Maggie Bonnet, it’s one of my top paranormal why choose romance series I have ever read. This book starts off right where book one ends. I really like when series do this and don’t jump to far ahead and Maggie starts this book off perfectly.
Diana finds her way back to her men after time hoping ahead after the attack from Red. Also she added to her Harem even though I had a feeling these two would join it was nice to see them build a relationship with her. First we have Azazel (Zaz) who we met in book one but was a bit of a mystery. Well after you read this book he is not a mystery anymore. I don’t want to give anything away but you won’t want to miss it. We also have Mal who in the first book didn’t like Diana well now he is trying to get her forgiveness and he’s really a sweet for a Hellbound. Loved seeing their relationship grow as well. Then Desmond who was reluctant in the beginning glad he finally came to his senses. Bash is still the possessive alpha hole he was in the first book but we love that right. And of course my favorite Ares, I love him he has the psychotic golden retriever down and I’m so here for it. His inner dialogue cracks me up. I just love the chemistry and banter between the six of them.
We also meet new characters Diana’s fathers that’s right she has two. Loved the whole scene when she finds out. We also meet her brother and learn more about her Nonna, Aunt and best friend.
But that freaking cliffhanger, I need book three asap. This is definitely a must read series. If you haven’t started it yet you should. Can’t wait for the next book.
Maggie has gone and done it again! This book had so much spice, I needed to cool myself down on several occasions!! This book was a rollercoaster of emotions and laughs.
In the Devil’s Shadow picked up right where In Death We Part ended. Diana’s life is in peril, her men don’t know where she’s at, and all hell is breaking loose. When Diana returns to them, she makes them work to earn her forgiveness. She brings Azazel with her, but his past relationship with Desmond and Bash both complicates and makes things a little more interesting…queue all the spice! There was also so much character development with Mal in this book. It was fun seeing him make up for everything he did in book one and develop a relationship with Diana. Bash and Ares are still crazy possessive over Diana. And Desmond is still the same bossy, broody, dominant demon I love…yes, he’s my favorite.
The bombshells that were dropped in this book, well read for yourself, because they were good! There are several new characters introduced, and some who are brought back, outside of our main group. And there are new relationships teased that I hope Maggie writes about in the future.
As always, read the content warnings. Demon spice may not be for everyone, but I know I sure enjoy it. Thank you Maggie for writing such a fun, exciting story, and for giving us these amazing characters!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Yes yes and more yes!! This book was everything I wanted and more! Especially the groveling I need and loved all the groveling! 😈 I have been counting down the days for this release since I read the first book and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint in the least! Also, that cliffhanger!!??! Now, I must impatiently wait for book 3! 🫠
I don’t want to give to much away but this book gives a lot of what we’ve been craving and at the top of that list is growth! Despite the guys being utterly stressful at times their characters developed so well overtime! I loved that they were focusing on opening up and being honest with Diana. She needed them to include/ respect her and they worked to do that for her. They wanted to prove themselves. Let’s be clear though they will always be alpha holes lol! We also get a lot of truths. We were learning things left and right. There is still a lot that is unknown though and some of the twists that occur had me stressed lol
Overall, absolutely amazing! Also, special shout-out to the spice because holy moly I was sweating! Trust me you’re not ready for it, so bring a fan, you’re going to need lol 😈🥵🔥🫠
Ok, I was waiting so impatiently for this, and I read it as quickly as I could, work and kids permitting. All hell has broken loose, people are MIA, and Diana literally has the weight of the world on her shoulders. That cliffhanger though! Buckle up, buttercup, because it's a wild one.
Ares is still batshit with golden retriever bf vibes; Desmond still exudes daddy dom BDE; Bash is still a possessive twat; Mal has redeemed himself and his obsession with Diana is fuckin mint.. and Zaz, my sweet, sweet Zaz. Ever the guardian, ever the patient one, ever the lover.
Secrets that rock the axis of Diana's world? Check! Family members found!? Gasp! Some fantastically written smutty scenes to light your panties on fire and make you questions your kinks? Of-fucking-course! 🤣 Wit, clever euphemisms, and hilarious inner monologue in droves? Yep! I have highlighted so many passages in this book.
It's all there, and it's all good. I do hope that book three delves more into Mal and Diana's arc independently, because he has so, so, so much groveling to STILL do in my opinion. But if you're wanting a fast, filthy pnr why choose series - this is the one for you.

Ok well first off the 🌶️ of this book was seriously 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I mean, that was just so hot I don’t even know what else to say about this book besides it was on serious fire. The guys in the group had a lot of work to win Diana over and oh boy did I enjoy all the groveling that was done. Can I just say that Mal is an absolute sweetheart.
This book was so good that I cannot sing the praises enough. And that ending, oh boy. I don’t want to ruin anything, but some additional crazy is being thrown into the mix for book 3.
If you thought book 1 was crazy? You are not ready for the next installment of this ride! What had I learned when reading book one? Diana does NOT play around! We are thrust right back into this world immediately the fallout of the first book. Everything Diana thought she knew about herself has absolutely rocked her world to the core. She is not what she thought she was, nor are her men. Is she angry? Most definitely. Is she heartbroken? Sure. What she is not though; is a doormat. She makes herself very clear with the boys on what she is expecting from them. The boys fudged up, and they now it. However, what sets all the guys’ apart is the groveling from someone I was not expecting; and how that changes the dynamic of Diana’s relationships with each men. In book two we finally find out who her father(s) were and holy bananas was I not prepared! Maggie has this particular way to bleed humor into some very real, very hard emotional moments for our characters and for that, I am extremely grateful. Are you ready for crazy debauchery and some seriously hot men? You just have to read this for yourself!
We picked up where we left off in book 1, ya know, where the cliffhanger left us yelling at the book?, yeah, right there. We get so much more back story that answers those burning questions but now leaves your jaw on the floor. Diana is a force not to be f'ed with this time around, her strength and sass is just amazing. She is out to show everyone that she is a strong, thick and proud, independent woman who belongs to no one. I completely fell in love with these characters all over again. The obsessive craziness of Diana's men is so hilarious and yet heart warming in its own ass backwards kinda way. Ares is still my favorite, hands down, that man's level of crazy knows no bounds but he is the biggest damn cinnamon roll with the sweetest dollop of icing on top. The story kept its grip on me with the twists and turns, mood swings, humor and holy crap... group activities. Those are some hot moments! Highly recommend reading book 1 and then diving into this immediately after.
While Diana was amazing and learning her powers in the first book, she really grew further into them in this one. She becomes a Supreme Bada$$ and I am here for it. Her journey is not easy, and the things that she learns along the way are both heartbreaking as well as soul mending. How can you not love Ares? His might be my favorite by far, just with some of the thing he says (not to mention his....em...other talents) Oh! And Mal? Umm..... yes please. So here for this. I can not wait to see what Diana will have to say in response to that certain last line (I know I have a few choice phrases ready to go). One thing I will say though.... Stop doing this to me! I know there is going to be a cliffhanger. I still devoured this book fully accepting that my heart would be crushed until the next come out. And of course.....bam! There it is! It's fine. Really. I'll just duct tape my heart together till the next one comes out. All in all another amazing read from the amazing Ms. Bonnet.
Actualy 4.5⭐️ Book two picked up where one left off with the cliffhanger. We get to learn more about Zaz, where he fits into all of this. What I loved most about this book was how much growth Diana has in this book. She becomes much more confident, more in control of her powers and very in your face. She no longer let's others speak for her, she speaks for herself and doesn't cower to anyone. Each of the men have also grown in this book. Don't get me wrong, their still alpha possessive a$$holes, but they're learning they have to work together and share. They're getting better about sharing their feelings and Diana. This also has some big surprises like who Diana's father is and other family members. There's some new additions to the group. All good additions. The s3xy times are very spicy and still really good. This book leaves us once again on a cliffhanger. I went back and reread book one before digging into this one to refresh my memory and I'm glad I did. I'm looking forward to book three.
A second book with a good cliffhanger at the end. I was wondering what was going to happen once they found that crystal. 🤔 But they got right to the point, and Diana busted that thing open. I enjoyed Lucifers chapter and the dynamic between him and Michael. It's strange though because like...aren't they brothers? Lol idk how it works with Angels so maybe not. 😅
This book had some great arguments amongst the main team, with them being divided about Diana's plans or the whole group being against something that Diana has done. I do think that they will push her too far, though. She has handled some of their overbearing moments quite well imo but she is going to get fed up with them controlling her every decision. You can see it building. I also don't agree with Desmond using his powers on Diana to "calm her down" when he perceives her emotions as problematic or inconvenient. He's truly an a** for that.
I'm looking forward to the next book! Seems like it will be a wild ride.
This book was literally fire. It had me bound and trapped from page one. I'd been dying for the continuation since that devastating cliffhanger and Maggie delivered.
Diana's powers are growing, her abilities manifesting in ways no one thought possible and her ability to fight for herself and those she loves is extraordinary. This girl is fierce and knows what she wants. It's honestly a breath of fresh air when compared to a lot of other female main characters. Girl is fire.
And the guys. My gods. If you wanted to know more about Zaz, this is your book. I was disappointed in the first book we didn't get a scene with Diana and Mal. Lemme tell you Maggie didn't let me down in this book. Mal might be my favorite guy. No matter what though, the guys are hot, the scenes are smoking, and I could not put it down.
It does end on another devastating cliffhanger but it's worth it. The story, the men, the scenes you don't want to read in public, the fierce female lead, read the book.

In The Devil's Shadow, the second book in the Dangerous Lovers series by Maggie Bonnet was definitely a ride worth taking!!!
This story hops right back into where the first book left us in the middle of madness but we finally get some answers! Especially concerning Zaz and how he came to be and even about our fearless badass heroine Diana. And truly I loved seeing Diana come into her powers and start to discover how much more to her and her story there is—especially as some long awaited questions are finally answered. And watching the guys slowly realize that themselves and try to be better at including her in everything was definitely an improvement! Will they ever be able to truly set aside their alpha tendencies? Probably not—but it sure does make for a hot and steamy ride! ;)
Overall if you like your books full of twists, turns and tons of spicy heat then this is the one for you! And that ending?!?! I truly can’t wait to see where this story takes us next!
Loved the second part of this series! The character’s personalities & relationships really progressed this time plus we got to better meet multiple new people. Diana is finding out answers that she never expected,or even considered. There’s so much pressure and expectations about so many things that she’s absolutely struggling with her sanity. Diana’s guys (Ares, Zaz, Desmond, Bash, and Mal) are both a blessing and a struggle that she’s trying to figure out. I have to say that each guy has their own unique charm even while being alphahole crazy. We learn a ton of answers, learn we may not have thought of some questions, and learn that there’s still plenty that hasn’t been answered. That cliffhanger will leave you ready for the next book but in all the best ways, especially since we are gifted a bonus chapter with a new character’s POV which helps a ton!
Speechless , mind blown and on the edge of my seat the entire time feeling like my heart was beating out of my chest . Those are only a few emotions I felt while reading In The Devils Shadow - the second installment in Maggie’s unforgettable and unputdownable Dangerous Lovers Series. I am honestly not someone why typically reads many suspenseful or fantasy romances but Maggie’s books well they are definitely the exception. Dark , raw , gritty , suspenseful, action packed , steamy , mysterious, humorous, witty , emotionally charged , page tuner , unforgettable, unputdownable and much more. If you are a fan of swoon worthy alphas who are extremely possessive and kick ass heroines and a storyline that is guaranteed to grab onto all your emotions and take you on the ride of your like them look not further as this is the perfect book / series for you .
Diana and her men are back and is there ever H E L L to pay! This book had it all. Suspense to keep you on your toes, humour to lighten the mood, and smexy times to make the pages burn. You will laugh, cry, rage, and sigh as you follow Diana and her men through her many adventures.
Diana has much to learn, especially after discovering that she's more than your garden variety witch. Each of the five men in her life, and one of her fathers, plays important parts in teaching her about her abilities. It's not going to be easy taking on Red and his army, but Diana is ready to put this all behind her and live her best life possible with Sebastian, Ares, Malcolm, Desmond, and Azazel. What comes next in this book is about to astound and amaze you.
A cliffhanger is waiting for you at the end, so be ready. Book three is coming soon or might be here by the time you read this. Onward we go!
No words!! Absolutely no words to describe this book because I am at a loss. It captivated me from the beginning to the end. I thought I knew where I was going to be from book 1 but the curves that came from this book and the secrets that you learn as they try to navigate their life to overcome the battle keeps you on the edge and second guessing everything you learned. When truth comes out about her fathers thats when the catalyst starts and even more turmoil comes down on the crew. The emotions and character evolvement in this book are amazing especially Mal. I loved being able to connect with the characters. The plot runs smoothly and stays on point. This book does end with a cliffhanger to take us into the third and final book.
Another masterpiece! I just love Diana and her men and I could not wait to get more after In Death We Part. this book devoured me!!! The spice, building of relationships, all wrapped in a whirlwind of adventures and emotions. You get a better look into the guys and why they act the way they do! More insight into the past and how it has affected the events of the book. There are new characters introduced in this book and everything just fits! This story keeps taking new turns and I can’t even guess what is going to happen next but I am 1000% ready for this ride! I don’t think I have ever been so frustrated yet so excited at a cliffhanger. This book is an absolute must read! Love love loved it!
