This isn’t my usual genre of YA lit, but I was pleasantly surprised. This book was sent to me by the author’s team to review. Carter and Emma’s relationship was easy to root for and the writing style was easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this to ya romance readers who are looking for good banter and dynamics between the protagonist without too much spice.

Gah! I loved this book! It's a classic YA book about the beautiful smart girl falling for the misunderstood bad boy, but the author took the familiar trope and made it her own. It was so well done and several scenes had me on the edge of my seat. If you're looking for a great new YA novel that will steal your heart, look no further.
