Rate this book
Two years since the rape and murder of Harold Brandon's beloved wife, Shelly, he strikes his scythe of vengeance upon one man and his entire cartel.

"Hey gringo, are you lost?"

"No. Not lost. Looking for someone."

"Who are you looking for?"

"I'm looking for a dead man."

***

Shelly was raped and murdered by the Sonora Cartel two years ago. And since then, Harold has been juggling his sorrow and rage amid a standing contract on his life set at one million dollars.

When a grieving former drug-lord-turned-minister-turned-contractor is also being hunted like prey, he adapts.

Harold was forced to hide in the shadows and isolate himself from friends and family. He was also driven to undergo plastic surgery twice.

Heartbroken, seething, unrecognizable, and with unlimited government resources at his disposal, Harold now has the upper hand and plots to find Enrique, the Sonora Cartel's #2 man, with every intention of killing him – slowly and in true cartel fashion.

Just like how they killed his wife.

“Code name: The Fox” is the third and last book in the Harold Brandon series, by author Dr. Hal Bradley DD, which delves with the Operation Yucatan Cartel.
This action/ adventure saga is starring by Harold Brandon, defined as a drug-lord-turned-minister-turned-contractor-turned-vigilante. The plot of this book combines the organized crime of mystery fictions with the suspense and mind-bending of a thriller. As per my reading experience, this book is exciting, riveting, and action-packed. Once I started reading it was difficult to stop because I wanted to know what will happen next. There was never a dull moment and it kept me intrigued the whole time. So, I recommend it to everyone who likes the mystery and thriller genre, as well as crime stories.

Exciting surviving the cartel story

This story has an amazing plot and impressive characters. Two years after the death of his wife,
Harold Brandon has decided to take down the cartel that is the reason for the incident. Now fighting one man is one thing and taking down the whole cartel is another. I am impressed with the details of this novel, people who enjoy cartel stories would love this very much. Looking at the history of the author, I believe his experience has helped him create this very detailed novel. It is exciting and action packed. A good vengeance is a sweet kind of novel. I would definitely recommend this, especially to my dad who appreciates an action packed, military training vs cartel crew story.

This is the third installment in the Harold Brandon series and it is as inviting as the previous two books since it mixes characters from two different cultures and countries.
Author Bradley is definitely not only a master storyteller but is also a sort of wizard who creates images through powerful real descriptions.
The storyline seems almost four-dimensional since one seems to hear people talking in the pages, see how the ruthless people act and react, sense the atmosphere, and even feel the humid Mexican weather. In many respects, this book reminds me of those sagas, such as Harry Potter or the sort, which readers never want to end.

Autor Dr. Hal Bradley really outdid himself. I was amused by the imagination and creativity Bradley managed to combine in this second book in the series.

It was very satisfying for my reader's heart to be able to keep this character and all his adventures alive. After the murder of Shelly Harold has been waiting to revenge her death and he would do everything he can to acconplish that wish. Even if that means sacrificing a lot of his life and identity.

The narration of the hunt of the number two in the cartel is very bewitching for the reader. It is a book full of action, drama and very tense moments.

CODE NAME: THE FOX: Operation Durango Cartel is the second installment of The Harold Brandon Book Series by Dr. Hal Bradley DD. In this crime thriller, Harold, who was once a drug lord working for a cartel before he sought to right his wrongs and became a minister, has turned toward the path of revenge. His wife has been brutally killed, and the cartel boss that called the hit is going to face a similar fate.
I liked how intense the action and overall plot is—it drives home that these people mean serious business and are not messing around. It’s adds to the realism. The dialogue also does so. Unfortunately, the dialogue hits a point of realism where I didn’t fully enjoy reading it in a novel. Also, some parts were confusing as dialogue wasn’t separated, and the point of view is the first person, with occasional omnipotence. Overall though, not a bad book for its genre.
