In the series collection, follow Sea Slayer Kelia Starling as she's forced to team up with Sea Shadow Drew Knight in search of her father's murderer. She's supposed to hate the vampire pirate, but even she can't deny the information he's uncovered, and the tangled web of lies she's forced to unravel as danger creeps closer. To make it all worse, there's a good chance she's falling for him -- which would be more than forbidden, it would be fatal.
Isadora Brown loves all things dark, dangerous, and deadly. Things that go bump in the night and send shivers down backs are things she adores. She loves (and writes) sexy, forbidden romance, usually with some bite and a hint of magic. She is the author of The Somerset Series, The Dark Paradise Trilogy, The Stranger Trilogy, and The Neverland Trilogy.
Sea of Darkness Bk1: Growing up Kelia Starling was told that Sea Shadows needed to be killed but when she works with one to find her father's murderer her opinion of them changes. Drew Knight is a Sea Shadow/Vampire of the Sea, and not at all like what Kelia was told they would be like. The intriguing story and interesting characters make this a great series starter. I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest of The Vampire Pirate Saga. Call of Darkness Bk2: If you read book 1 Sea of Darkness then you know we met Kelia and Drew as they set out to find out what really happened to her father. In this book, Kelia and Drew's relationship is discovered and she is condemned to life as a sightless. These two go on quite a journey full of drama, danger, mystery, intrigue and so much more. Gift of Darkness Bk3: In this book, the story takes a turn and we find Kelia and Drew on the run and hiding out from the Sirens and the Queen of the Shadows. Ever since Kelia escaped from the breeding program the sirens and shadows have been out to capture her for the Queen's bounty. The storyline is action-packed and filled with adventure, danger, romance, and twists that kept me turning the pages. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series and finding out how the story ends. Queen of Darkness Bk4: Queen of Darkness is book four in The Vampire Pirate Saga and what an action-packed rollercoaster ride. Drew and Kelia work together to defeat the Queen. The Queen wants Drew back and Kelia dead. Who will win the final battle? Great writing, an intriguing story, interesting characters, and a fantastic ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Ah I adore pirates. After finishing Daughter of the {irate King Duology, I've been craving more and this series delivered!
Kelia is such a lovable character, honourable, smart, and badass. What more could you ask for? Drew on the other hand is everything we all dream about when we dream about pirates. I fell for him immediately and was very much invested in their shared HEA.
The plot is intriguing, willed with mystery and romance, which is truly all I need in my life.
When in the mood for a series that will make you adore the characters, and keep you up reading until all hours of the night due to the plot and the reluctant teammates to lovers we all need and dream of, this is the series for you.

Sea of Darkness I love a good political intrigue plot. Add pirates and vampires and I’m a goner. I was immediately sucked in to all the twisty little mazes this story takes us through. To the point I completely lost track of how far into the book I was until I looked down and saw I was at 98% and nearly died. I wasn’t anywhere close to being ready for this book in Kelia and Drew’s story to be over already. There’s so much more I want to know, that we’re set up to learn in future installment, but I don’t have the answers yet. I’m hooked on this series and can’t wait to get my hands on the next books. Call of Darkness Like the first book, this one quickly sucked me into the intrigue. We get the opportunity to learn several of the answers that were left wanting at the end of the previous one, but there are new mysteries revealed that make me grateful to be able to immediately move on to book three. I really liked that we get to see Kelia as a more independent woman. However, for the amount of Drew we get to see, he’s almost a throw-away character in this book. It may have just been my mood at the time, but I found this installment to be more ponderous, plodding. I didn’t get the same sense of urgency to rush to the end; that desperate need to find out what happens next. Though I will admit to being quite excited to see what happens in the next book. Gift of Darkness From where this story started out going, I felt like it ended up in a completely different direction. There are tantalizing hints about the mysterious death of Kelia’s mother that I was desperately hoping would become a bigger part of the story, but I love that we get to learn more about the magic of their world and the other supernatural creatures that inhabit it. I also really liked that we get to see Drew and Kelia moving their relationship further. Though I’m especially anxious to see what happens after that bit of a cliff-hanger ending. Queen of Darkness With the ending of the previous book, I knew the whole story was about take a turn I hadn’t been expecting. I absolutely love that in this book we get to see Kelia finally come into her full independence; to learn where her best skills lie. I’m not a fan of the overprotective milksop Drew becomes in this story, but I can easily see where the attitude comes from. And after the teaser this book closes out on, I badly want to know where the authors are going to take us next. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.
The Vampire Pirate Saga Box Set - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

What does she learn is her fate with regard to Drew, her forbidden lover? 3)Gift of Darkness: Kelia Starling has been forced into a breeding programme...but events take an unexpected twist that sees her escape, only to become a fugitive, hunted by the Queen's forces. Whom can she turn to? Once more rescued by Drew and heading out to sea on his ship, leads to her believe she's safe, despite the enmity of his family, but then she's lured by Sirens...is this the end for Kelia? 4) Queen of Darkness: The eponymous Queen will do whatever is necessary to recapture the fugitive Kelia Starling, who is undermining her sovereignty by evading her hunters. How will she trap Drew? What will Kelia risk to save the man she loves? The Queen maroons them both on an island inhabited by enemy Shadows, who were condemned there by Drew, to fight to the death for survival, before they can return to take on the Queen of Darkness herself. Can they do it?

Oh goodness this story is jammed packed with action, drama, suspense, and mystery. It has you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. It is a unique story that I absolutely am loving. Kelia is strong and loyal to a fault. At times I feel she doesn’t think and ends up in a worst situation. However, throughout the story we see how strong she really is. Drew is definitely a unique one. The story is well written and developed. I can’t wait to see what happens next as we continue this journey in this amazing boxset.
Call Of Darkness
The second book is amazing. It gives us so many answers to questions we have been asking. It is jammed packed with action, drama, and suspense. Kelia goes through so much in this one. We see how strong she is and we see how much she can endure. I love that we see her growing more in this one. The writing is superb and this story is extremely well developed. I am excited to see where the series is going from here.
Gift Of Darkness
The third book is fantastic. We development with Drew and Kelia’s friendship. It is a fabulous development that evolved the story greatly. We see action, drama, and unexpected events that really surprised me. It is a fantastic series that has me excited for the next book. The ending in this was a major. Goodness, I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Queen Of Darkness
The fourth book is something else. I was a little frustrated at Kelia as at times she seemed to forget all the training she has had. Drew is a little lost. But, as the book progresses we seem times of sadness and pain. It does have moments of happiness as well. It didn’t have as much action but I throughly enjoyed the way it ended. It was extremely well written and developed. This entire series is an absolute must read.
I really enjoyed this set, it’s a lot of fun and I couldn’t put it down. Definitely worth reading!
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.
2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.
1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

What could be better than a sexy, smouldering pirate you ask?? How about a pirate who also happens to be a vampire?? Yes..Isadora went there and it was so good!! Andrew Knight is swoon worthy to say the least and Kelia, the human slayer who catches his eye and his heart is a kick ass FMC in her own right. I love that she has her whole series available to read in one box set because once you pick up one you can’t stop. I have a few authors I auto read and rave about and she’s joined the ranks!! Every single series I’ve read of hers, and I’ve worked my way through 4 so far, is a surprise, is completely unique. Alice in wonderland, but not, beetlejuice vibes with a difference, gods who attack humans and that’s just the beginning! I will now read anything she writes because after all this I’m still wanting more. You will not regret picking up these books..such amazing worlds to get lost in 💜
I had previously read Sea of Darkness, the first book in this series which intrigued me but I hadn't gotten around to downloading the next book, so when I was offered the chance to read the whole series I was pleased to say yes!
This is not your typical vampire series, the vampires in it are called Sea Shadows as, you've guessed it, they live at sea for the most part and as long as they are on the water, then sunlight isn't a problem for them. The world-building is good, the characters are well drawn and the storyline was so different to what I was expecting it was a joy to read.
I don't want to give too much away but if you like paranormal romance and vampires with a difference you are sure to enjoy reading about Drew and Kelia's deepening relationship.
This is the complete series in one package. Very handy at that.
This is an urban fantasy series with a somewhat unique twist involving a pirate and seafaring theme. I really enjoyed the unique feel that this provided and the world building that went with it. The plot gets somewhat intense at times, but that is part of the enjoyment. Both the world and characters are well done with plenty of depth and originality. Overall, the series was very enjoyable and kept my attention throughout. I am looking forward to seeing what our author comes up with next.
Highly recommended.

Drew Knight is the most well known of the deadly Sea Shadows. A century old pirate known as well for his ability to seduce women as to capture ships. Kelia is a Slayer raised in the Society to kill Shadows. When her father is killed Kelia discovers that much of what she has been taught is a lie and she enters a partnership with Drew to find out the truth. The series is an interesting take on vampires and magic with a supernatural (and extra evil) slant to the powerful trading companies of the past. I’d be interested to see what Kelia and Drew do in the future.

First, I always love box sets, as you don't have to wait a year and a half to know the end of the story. As an impatient reader, this is the bane of my life! I enjoyed reading this book series. The plot was sturdy, and I liked the different characters and the story development through the books. I liked the pirate twist in the supernatural and fantastic setting, and it kept my attention through the end. Definitely worth reading, though maybe not all in one go: keep the suspense a little longer will make you miss the protagonist and able to enjoy more each of the books.

The Vampire Pirate Saga is a 4 book complete series. Book 1 is Sea of Darkness. Book 2 is Call of Darkness. Book 3 is Gift of Darkness. Book 4 is Queen of Darkness. This is a unique vampire lore. The series follows Kelia Starling and Drew Knight. Kelia is training to become a slayer and Drew is an infamous Vampire Shadow Pirate. There is a ton of intrigue and mystery in each book. All 4 books are consistently well done and exciting. Book 4 ends in a way that could set up a possible future continuation of the series.

This box set was enthralling from the beginning and just kept getting better. I was glad to have the whole series in one box set so I could just keep reading. I loved the characters, and I appreciated watching them develop over the books in the set. The stories themselves were engrossing, and each one kept me wanting more. If you enjoy vampires, especially with a slightly unique twist, I highly recommend that you read this set.

What happens when your best slayer of vampires falls in love with one! OOPS. Brown writes such amazing stories that are action packed and keep you waiting for the next book. I hadn't started this series until the box set came out and I am so glad I had them all together! Kelia and Drew are fascinating characters. Book 4 you can feel everything wrapping up and wasn't as exciting as the rest but it has that last book angst of don't be dumb favorite characters what are you doing!
The four books featured are: - Sea of Darkness - Call of Darkness - Gift of Darkness - Queen of Darkness
The suspenseful, and often mature, fantasy story is descriptive and full-packed with action right from the start. The world is immersive and the chapters switch between Kelia and Andrew (Drew) so readers gain insight into both perspectives as Kelia's life has changed forever, and now she and Drew embark on a journey filled with secrets, revenge, love, and betrayal.

I had not read the books when they were released individually, but once the box set came out, I was immediately looking forward to it. The 4 books are about vampires (Sea Shadows) who are cursed, witches who have powers over the elements, and of course, the villains (the Society) who trains slayers to take out the Vampires. In this mix, you will find a thriller, an action oriented and emotional read full of secrets, hidden truths and the forbidden attraction.
The Vampire Pirate Series Box Set is worth reading! The lead characters have great chemistry and the entire series is full of discoveries, mayhem, and burgeoning love.
I really began to love Drew! He's so charming and wonderful with Keila. She is tough and smart without losing her softness of heart. Really great dynamic between the two of them.

It was almost impossible to put down but I couldn't read this entire series in one go! I do have a life! If you love vampires, you'll love this series and the same goes for pirates. Never thought I'd see the two together but it works! Great time!
