So many people have lost their lives around here, down the dark hallways, their souls are forever trapped there. The legends that surround the asylum are no secret, especially to a group of students from the film college, who are looking for a perfect place to make their movie for their final exam.Clover, a young woman, reserved and fascinated with the paranormal, is among these students, ready to catch footage of the unknown, only to meet the most devious and wicked of the spirits that lurk in the asylum. Desperate moments call for quick decisions, and striking a deal with the maleficent entity brings her into a night of animalistic passion beyond anything she had ever experienced... a pleasure that female humans would give everything to experience.WARNING! Blackburn is an independent writer into the dark erotica genre; horror-erotica, dark romance, taboo stories with steamy content that will make the reader all captivated. The kinkier, the better... the creepier, the best. A complete dark vibe envelops each page they write.

Blackburn loves horror movies, crime documentaries, rainy days, vodka with raspberry flavor and you can see them at their desk crafting new worlds that will pull you into a journey full of steamy moments and suspense.

When Blackburn sits at their desk, they put on the headphones, start the music, and as they listen to music, scenarios began to play into their head and the fingers hit the keyboards creating the stories.

One of the best things about being a writer is the interaction with my readers.

Not gonna lie I read this purely for the cliterature but OMG it was good. The characters stories??? A psychotic serial killer from the 1930's who dies and becomes a demon who haunts the insane asylum he died at and then semi-tricks a human girl into being his wife/mate????! I need a second book with what happens next because DAMN.

I love that the Waverly Hills Sanatorium served as the setting to this story, I've always wanted to visit there and go ghost hunting!

As the story begins, Clover and her friends are here at Waverly to produce a documentary about the hauntings there. Dave, who was once a former Asylum patient was extremely sadistic. Because he was so evil, he was essentially locked up in Waverly for life. He was eventually put in chains and was left to die alone in the dark tunnel. Was Dave more of a Demon, Monster, or Ghost? In my opinion, he was a little bit of all three. Regardless of what he was, he was really interesting!

Aside from vampires and werewolves, this was my first "monster" book and it took some getting used to because the sex acts were so different from anything I was accustomed to. Not saying it was a bad thing; it was just different.

Despite the fact that I didn't find this book to be scary, there were a few suspenseful parts. While nothing was completely resolved in the ending, I have a feeling that Dave, by letting Clover know that he will see her soon, nearly promises a sequel which I would gladly read. I'd love to find out more about Clover and Dave's journey together.

Trigger warnings include:
demonic intercourse (male demon x female human), use of tentacles in sexual activities, choking, spanking, high dirty talk, bondage, restraint, oral on both female and male, rough sex, Dominant/submissive power-play, begging, double penetration, breeding kink, knotting, and kink size

Diabolik Lovers" by C.B Blackburn is a thrilling and spine-chilling read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The story follows a group of students who are desperate to impress for an end of year test by creating a film that captures real paranormal activity. They decide to head to an abandoned asylum to capture the footage, but things take a terrifying turn when they split up and one of the students finds herself in a horrifying situation.

The main character stumbles upon an old office containing old patient files, and one in particular stands out for its horror crimes. As she tries to get away from a male entity, she finds herself making a deal in order to save her friends. However, she soon realizes that she has become a prisoner in this entity's lair, where she endures a night of animalistic passion like nothing she has ever experienced before.

Blackburn does an excellent job of building suspense and tension throughout the story, keeping readers guessing until the very end.The paranormal elements add an extra layer of intrigue, making for a truly captivating read.

Overall, "Diabolik Lovers" is a must-read for fans of horror and paranormal fiction. Blackburn's writing is engaging and immersive, and the story will leave you wanting more. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a thrilling and chilling read that will keep you up at night.

Cleanser

Quick read, but I felt the author tried to put too much into a short paged book. Would I read again? Maybe... The ending was a little anti-climatic compared to the rest of the book.
