Wonderful way to begin the morning.

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could. I like how most of the daily devotions start off with a story or anecdote about an event we can all either picture happening, or know happened in real life. It grounds the reading a bit, and shows practical examples of how to apply scripture to our overloaded and overwhelming times. The authors often explain that some circumstance they ran into reminded them of a certain passage in the Bible. My issue is none of these particular passages were memorable to me, so I don't think I'd be able to distinguish this volume from any others.

Me tomó muy poco tiempo leer este libro y fue muy divertido, está lleno de consejos y de frases inspiradoras de la biblia. Trata temas como el sufrimiento y la tragedia, el ser agradecido, la transformación espiritual, la paciencia, la vida enterna, la confianza en Dios, la sabiduría, el cielo, el Espíritu Santo, la generosidad, las adicciones, la creación, la toma de decisiones, la generosidad, el miedo, el fruto del espíritu, el perdón a los otros, la creación, la muerte, la celebración, historias relacionadas con las guerras mundiales y muchos más.

Cada día del año tiene una historia, enseñanza y versícula de la biblia distinto, por ejemplo, la historia del lunes 26 de septiembre del 2022 se llama El Milagro de la salvación y cuenta la historia del blogger Kevin Lynn, quien intento suicidarse, pero luego de escuchar la voz de Dios dentro de él pudo salvarse. Su historia se parece un poco a la historia de Lázaro y en esta historia citan el versículo 40 del capítulo 11 de Juan, donde se pregunta, ¿No te dije que si crees verás la Gloria de Dios?

Son muchas las historias inspiradoras que tiene este libro, siempre es bueno leerlas varias veces para comprenderlas mejor y verlas desde distintos puntos de vista.
