In his debut poetry collection, author Alex Armoredes discusses topics of friendship, loneliness, and feeling out of place and inadequate in a world that doesn’t appreciate those who don’t follow the crowd.
A collection perfect for navigating the difficult periods in life, and finding hope even when everything seems lost.
They only see the outside of me, And that’s the only way they decide to judge. If only I could show them what’s on the inside, but we, As a group, only decide to hold a grudge.
Alex Armoredes was born in London, the city famous for Buckingham Palace, Big Ben (the bell), and copious amounts of rain. On a typical day Alex can be found either reading, solving puzzles, writing, or pondering the current state of existence.

I really enjoyed this collection. There were quite a few that resonated - especially after living alone during quarantine - but Hallucinations stands out as the most absolutely devastating (in a good way). That one hit perfectly.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who spends too much time in their head.
What can I say about Atom? It's a collection of poems I mostly wrote during the lockdowns in 2020, with a few extra poems written this year. It discusses various topics, with a big focus on friendship, loneliness, and belonging. I hope you enjoy.
