“Of course,” I said with a nod. “I, too, begin my cooking tasks by summoning ancient evils. Only a fool would attempt to make confections without at least two scoops of hellfire.”
Short story, very short, to which I have accessed thanks to Elena Rodríguez, official supplier of this kind of books, what she calls her hamburgers, something quick and not excessively elaborate to have a break. And that it has been for me. I would value it with 2.5 ⭐, but a failing seemed wrong to me, so 3 ⭐ and off it goes.
In the middle of the pandemic lockdown, a girl (after only 4 days at home, poor thing) decides to start baking. And she does it so disastrously that she accidentally summons a powerful (and anatomically well-formed) demon that can offer her whatever she wants. Knowing what the topic is about, you can imagine the rest.
It is nothing new or groundbreaking, it entertains and you can go to another book. The genre is not my cup of tea, but at least it hasn't horrified me. I do not know if I will read more of these things, but as an appetizer it has been worth it.

“Of course,” I said with a nod. “I, too, begin my cooking tasks by summoning ancient evils. Only a fool would attempt to make confections without at least two scoops of hellfire.”
