Her plot line captures the female lead characters courage and determination as well as the challenges and uncertainties presented by their decision to marry. She also demonstrates optimism and hope as she leaves her old life to create a new one. Ms. Rose paints vivid scenes that pull her readers into the story. Through dialog, both conversational and internal monologues, readers glean Tabitha’s courage and determination shine as she tackles challenges and uncertainties.
