Unearth horror. In tilled fields and echoing caverns, in fungal grottos and dank mineshafts, and in the heart of the forest, evil lurks. Can a group of campers escape from a cave that is more than just a cave? What lurks in the greenhouse of a leading botanist, recently found dead? Is there any hope for the man who follows the girl of his dreams into a nightmarish, subterranean nest? And what is Harrow? Eerie River Publishing presents the Element Book One, stories specially selected to terrify and torment.

This is a solid collection of "earth"-themed horror short stories. From rocks and caves to fungi and houseplants, mysterious mud to nefarious holes in the ground, this book explores all the creepy earth-based places where nightmares dwell. The stories are varied enough that I ended up pretty much binge-reading this in one sitting. The first in a series of elemental-themed anthologies, this was a good read and I look forward to reading the next one!
