Love Started #3

It Started with a Glance

Rate this book
His famous voice and dimples might make him attractive, but his celebrity status makes him anything but.

If Elle Markle learned one thing from her rock star dad, it’s to stay far away from celebrities—they can’t be trusted. (And that she didn’t inherit his voice and therefore should also stay far away from karaoke.)

Declan Davenport would say he isn’t a celebrity. His team and the millions of fans on his hugely popular science YouTube channel say otherwise.

When Elle is assigned to interview the star with the incredibly deep voice and irresistible dimples, she reminds herself that she’s dealt with celebrities before and this will be no different. When she discovers it’s actually an overnight day-in-the-life gig at his house, she resolves to keep the walls firmly up. Like, concrete-and-barbed-wire up. No celebrity is winning her heart. Not now, not ever.

Declan is wary of the mysterious interviewer visiting his home and intruding on his privacy—until he discovers that she’s smart and beautiful and exactly his type (if he had a type). They have an undeniable chemistry that surprises even the scientist in him . . . which means she’s even more dangerous than he thought.

Because there’s one interview question Declan can never answer.

And he’s the last person who can give his heart away.

Okay, this book was freaking adorable!

Declan is a celebrity with a popular science show on youtube. Elle is assigned to interview him for a 24-hour day in the life article and due to things in her past, is not a fan of celebrities. Yet when they meet, there is an instant attraction that turns into a deeper connection as they get to know one another.

They both have fears and things from their past to overcome but oh, their story is just so sweet! The late night snack, the first kiss, the concert, the birthday party, the flirting - I loved it all! Neither of them was looking for romance, but they definitely found it and I loved this unique plot line.

If you have not picked up any of Meg Easton's books, you are seriously missing out! Highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

I am loving this series! I love the way the author has written all the friends. This can be a stand alone book, but I definitely recommend starting at the beginning with It Started with a Sunset. You’re not going to want to miss the love stories of Elle’s friends and co-workers.

I loved getting to know Elle a little bit. She’s the type of girl you can imagine living next door and being friends with. I loved the idea of her having a 24 hour interview with Declan. It just sounds like a fun idea. Especially when you get to know Declan!

Declan is a YouTube science guy. And he has a team of workers. I would love to work for him! His team sounds so fun. And they get to do all sorts of fun things. I loved the parts where Elle was there getting to know him and working with his team during the interview.

And I really loved that these two got to grow through the story. They each had something they needed to work on, just like we all do.

And seeing Elle’s friends again is a bonus! So many great things happened in this story to all of them. You need to read it!

I was sent an e-copy of It Started with a Glance as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.

If you want a charming book with characters who are just so sweet and wonderful, look no further!!! I love Elle's character. She's been mentioned in the previous two books of this series and it has been hinted at about Declan and her needing to interview him. So, needless to say, I have been anticipating their story.

Declan was not what I was expecting. He was just wonderful though. I loved his gentle, unassuming, kind, considerate, funny, friendly, and so many other great platitudes, personality. The first time he sees Elle...all the heart eyes.

His employees cracked me up in all their scheming between these two. They were the best. And they truly cared for Declan and wanted the best for him. All of the characters in this book were so well written and there wasn't drama and unnecessary problems in the book. It just was such a sweet book!

Elle has had a bit of a crush on Declan, even though they've never met. His voice has just captivated her and she makes sure to never miss one of his science videos. She's not the only one who is entranced by his voice. Man, I wish I could her his voice. Lol!

It was so cool how the author described Declan and his work and his employees. I was hooked!!! Another great read in the Love Started series. You can read them as stand alones but I've loved them all and recommend reading them all!!!

Content: Clean. Sweet and clean romance.

I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

This book was super cute!

I love celebrity romances and Meg Easton put her own unique twist on this one! What was different about it to me was that the celebrity was a scientist with a following. I found this very refreshing. And this scientist, Declan, was extremely good looking with a sexy voice to boot. I loved how passionate he was about his science and how he didn’t care about celebrity-like things; he just wanted others to love science too.

Elle was an absolute sweetheart! The kind of girl you would want to be friends with in real life. Her dad is a rockstar who abandoned her years ago so she is not a fan of celebrities. But, when she has to spend 24 hours with Declan for an interview things start to change.

Both Declan and Elle have pasts they haven’t healed from yet and that brings some adversity to their relationship. It causes some misunderstandings before they get to their amazing HEA at the end of this book. I really appreciated the message of this book, that we are all born with worth and do not have to do anything to feel worthy of love. It doesn’t matter what happened in your past, you’re always worth it and you have nothing to prove. I feel this is a message we all need to hear sometimes and I thought it was told very well in this story.

If you are looking for a sweet romance, look no further, you need to read this book! There were so many cute moments in this one, the shared dessert, concert in the park, Elle’s birthday party with fun name tags, and sweet kisses. Meg Easton writes wonderful clean romances!

The epilogue was very sweet too and set up the next book. Can’t wait to see Everett get his chance at love!

I enjoyed this installment of the Love Started series. The characters were likable and I was rooting for them through the whole book. But both Elle and Declan had some issues they had to work through. Both were scarred from their childhood situations and really a good therapist much earlier in the game would have made a huge difference in their lives but Declan's dad has some very wise advice. A whole chapter of wisdom but we can sum up with his quote from Albert Einstein- "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow". Good advice for all of us. Both Declan and Elle go through a huge growth arc over the course of the story. And I loved watching it happen.
I also love the supportive secondary characters and look forward to seeing the next one get his happily ever after.
This romance is a sweet love story, clean and enjoyable.

Potential triggers: Abandonment issues, Domestic violence (happens prior to the book timeline)

'Apparently, watching the man with the deep voice and the adorable dimples talk about science did make her interested in science, just like everyone said it would.
Well played, Declan. Well Played'

This series has been beyond amazing! If you're not reading Meg Easton books let me be the first to HIGHLY RECOMMEND them...all of them, but especially this series!

I loved so many things about this book! I loved the 'not looking for romance' trope this story offers. Both of our main characters have had traumatic pasts that have them not looking for love, BUT sometimes the best romances are the ones you weren't looking for!

The chemistry and swoon factor in this book are off the charts good! You'll get to see small mentions of previous characters in the series (can definitely be read as a stand alone-but for reals, read this series!!), and you know I love a small town vibe! The characters were interesting and had very real pasts to overcome. The character arcs are raw and you'll be cheering for them every single page.

This is a love story you don't want to miss! It Started with a Glance will be available TOMORROW!

Thanks to the author for the copy. All thoughts in this review are my own.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I always enjoy reading Meg Easton's books and the sweet stories she tells. The characters are lovable and it's low drama. Declan deals with imposter syndrome, and honestly reading about his self doubt today was a trigger for me, since I'm dealing with similar things right now. Reading the book actually helped me work through some of my feelings today, so thanks for that. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Don't you love when a series just gets better and better? I honestly think that's happening with Meg Easton's Love Started series. It Started with a Glance is hands down my favorite in this series so far! I absolutely adored Declan. His science-based social media channels were giving me some younger, more handsome Bill Nye vibes, which was just full of amazing nostalgia for me. His kindness when talking with strangers, especially kids, despite his "celebrity" status was heart warning. I loved his team not so subtly pushing him and Elle together. I liked Elle as a character as well, but as a female, I do have a weakness for a well written male lead! #bookboyfriend

Both Elle and Declan had some trauma from their childhood that almost stood in the way of their relationship. Elle dealt with feelings of abandonment and feeling not worthy of love while Declan dealt with feeling like he could never be good enough because of the DNA he was concerned was passed to him from his father. Their chemistry was undeniable but they both had to come to terms that they were each so much more worthy of the relationship than they felt they were.

It Started with a Glance can be read as a standalone novel as it follows Elle and Declan's story, but I personally feel the story is enhanced by reading the other books in this series as you get to know other characters seen in this book. If you don't have time to read those first though, you can still read this book by itself and really enjoy it. Just in case you need another recommendation for your TBR, I'd add this one if I were you!

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I'm leaving an honest and voluntary review.

Two people trying to move on from past hurt and fear
A sweet story of two people finding each other but struggling with issues around their fathers that could keep them apart. Elle’s mother had slept with a rock star in hopes that their child would inherit his talent but she didn’t. More than that when 9 year old Elle reached out to him hoping for some acknowledgement, it never came. Elle was left wondering what was wrong with her. Moving forward she worked to become a successful event planner for a college. Declan was a social media star with his videos on science topics. For all appearances he was a huge success but he had his father’s genes and that was a large concern, big enough that he shied away from romantic relationships. He much preferred his solitary lifestyle, it felt safer. So what happens when an outgoing event planner is sent to interview a solitary man over a twenty-four hour period? A fun and interesting read of building a relationship between two very different people, both harboring hurts and fears about their fathers. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

So good that just one glance and you won’t be able to put it down
I’ve really been enjoying this series. It’s super cute, a has a few unexpected twists, and each one has pulled at my heartstrings.
This story with Declan I especially liked since I got to see into the life of a You Tuber. I’m not a science geek but reading about his passion for science has me searching science videos. I totally fell for the connection between the couple even though is was a super insta-attraction. It all just felt believable. I would totally watch this over and over again as a Hallmark type movie!
Thanks for the great love story!

Reader’s Notes:

– this is part of a series, but can be read as a stand-alone

– this is told from Elle & Declan’s points of view

– a character deals with having grown up with an abusive parent (occurred over 20 years prior; only shows: current bad dreams, remembering being scared, not wanting to be them) and losing a parent to a car accident (4 years prior)

– a character deals with having wanted their father in their life & him not wanting the same

Review:

Have I said I love Meg Easton’s books? ‘Cause I do so very much! I loved Elle and Declan and all their coworkers 😍. Elle and Declan’s romance was so sweet to read as it developed. I loved that they each had a reason for not necessarily wanting a relationship, but realizing that they wanted one as they grew to know each other better. I loved that Declan’s coworkers all tried to matchmake the two of them during the 24 hour interview time. I especially loved the video they made together and the comment section Elle scrolled through. I loved that Declan enjoyed science so much that everyone who knew of him knew that and that his talking would speed up because of it. 😂 One Of my top scenes (ok, it’s several. One after another) from this story was at the end of the 24 hours with a ‘truth serum’ tart, waking up late at night, and the crew’s reaction to Declan making breakfast. 😍 I can’t wait for the next story!

Summary:

Elle knows what celebrities are like, and she doesn’t want any part of it. Not anymore. So when she is scheduled to interview a celebrity alumni for the school’s magazine to hopefully gain more students, Elle tells herself that she needs to have her guard up. Which means not getting as personal as she has in the past with interviewees. She’ll have to keep everything surface level while trying to get the deeper answers she needs to write a phenomenal article. Easy peasy, right? Well…the plan went better before she got to know Declan.

Declan is a famous science YouTuber who doesn’t really care about the fame. He just wants to get people as excited about science as he is. In his mind, an interview is not the way to do it. The people don’t need to know him, just the science. But Declan chooses to do the interview anyways when his team reminds him that some of his followers do want to know more about him over the science he loves. This doesn’t mean that Declan is thrilled about the interview though, nor does it mean he’s willing to open up about just anything in his life. But a beautiful interviewer, 24 hours together, and matchmaking coworkers might make him rethink about it all.

Could Declan be willing to open up about his past? Could Elle fall for a celebrity? Or will their pasts keep them from the happily ever after that seems to be so close to being in their grasp?

Before I begin, I would like to thank Meg Easton for allowing me to read a copy of her book, It Started with a Glance, which is the third book of her Love Started series and is available on Amazon.

Elle Markle’s rockstar dad taught her to stay away from celebrities and karaoke events at all costs. Declan Davenport doesn’t think he’s a celebrity-he just explains science on his YouTube channel to lots of people. When Elle is assigned to interview Declan, she tells herself to resist his handsome face and cute dimples especially when that job turns into an overnight day-in-the-life job. Initially cautious, Declan can’t help being drawn to the stunning and intelligent interviewer, but as their connection deepens, he knows he can’t let her know everything about him or have access to his heart. Can Elle and Declan learn to heal from their past hurts and try to become something more, or will their chance shrivel like overturned grass?

This book was great. You have Elle, a smart, caring, and hardworking young woman that is devoted to helping potential students feel at home at LSBU and protecting her heart from getting hurt. You have Declan, a handsome, funny, kind young man that is dedicated to researching and providing scientific information to people especially for those that don’t have many resources. It was great seeing familiar faces from the previous books in the series, and I loved how everyone they knew started shipping them before they barely interacted. I appreciated Declan’s drive to explain scientific concepts that were easy to understand and accessible to many (it honestly reminded me of Crash Course). I liked how Declan and Elle’s interactions, including during the interview, were less of an extended Q&A and more of good conversations, especially when it came to dealing with their pasts. Overall, if you like great found family dynamics, the idea of accessible scientific resources, matchmaking friends, college campuses, and sweet small-town celebrity scientist romance with low amounts of spice, then I would highly recommend this book. This book is a really sweet read. I loved Elle and Declan in this book. Both of them are characters who aren't looking for love. I love this aspect about them because they are focusing on themselves. It is clearly shown that they are perfectly fine alone, but together they can have a much better life.

Declan is one of my favorite heroes. I always have a soft spot for heroes who are nerds and really passionate about science. I like that he isn't the famous stereotype nerd who lacks social skills. Instead, he is genuine and really passionate. I like how he cares about those he loves and his relationship and respect for his mom is awesome.

Elle is a great character. I love that she is educated and knows what she wants. She is incredibly caring and even though she is a bit on the insta attraction side I like that she does take the time to know Declan.

The romance in this book is pretty good. My only small gripe is that it felt very insta-lovish in the beginning. But, I like that they were drawn but took the time to know the other person. I like that this book was low on the steam and focused on the emotion. There were tons of great conversation I loved between the two main characters.

The setting of this book is also awesome. I love the small town summery feel to it.

In summary, go check out this new awesome release!

"He came with his own worth...and so did you." Meg Easton gives us a beautiful romance that, at it's heart, is all about realizing that we all have worth and are worthy of love.

* Dual POV

* Celebrity Romance

* Sweet/Clean

* Part of a series, but can be read as a stand alone

I adored Elle and Declan. Each has trauma in their past that has shaped who they are and although there are still things they individually need to work through, they are each stronger because of it.
Elle is smart, fun, loyal, and has major trust issues especially where celebrities are concerned.
Declan is brilliant, funny, humble, thoughtful, and sweet. He has his own trust issues that are different from Elle's but that are holding him back just the same. He also apparently has a voice that demands an audiobook version of this book!

Favorites:

* Truth Serum Tart

* Making the Video

* Declan making breakfast (and his employees reactions to it)

* The Rap

* Great Supporting Characters

If you are looking for a sweet/clean romance with heart, humor and good character development, you found it.

*I received an ARC of this book from the author, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

It Started with a Glance is the third book in the Love Started series. While there is some character crossover, this can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone as well.

I have really enjoyed this series so far, but I think this one might be my absolute favorite. Declan and Elle won me over right away. First of all, they're super sweet together... but they both have complicated histories that make him hesitant to have a relationship at all, and her to be wary of celebrities... which puts well-known YouTuber Declan out of the running. That doesn't stop the chemistry though. When she's tasked to do a 24-hour interview, they find themselves drawn to each other and starting to let those walls fall. I liked Declan's character very early on anyway, but the more we see about his history, the more I liked him. Seeing the growth in both characters throughout the story was wonderful! In addition to the romance, I also loved seeing the great relationships they both had with their coworkers/friends. It added so much to the story and I loved it.

It Started with a Glance is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

This series is so good! I’ve loved each book so far and this latest addition was another win for me!

Elle and Declan both have past traumas that make it difficult for them to open up to other people. But their instant connection and understanding of each other made it possible for them to share a part of themselves in a surprising way. This paved the way for a beautiful relationship to start.

They were so incredibly sweet together! From the first interview day to each new encounter. It kept getting better and better. But of course, not everything in life is sunshine and flowers. The past traumas crept back up and both characters had to face them. And while it resulted in a brief pause in the relationship, it also helped Elle and Declan to heal a bit and realize what exactly was holding them back. And what they truly wanted.

If you like sweet, small town romances with little conflict and lots of happily ever after, you’ll absolutely enjoy this series!

I received an advance copy of this book from the author. I was not required to leave a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I can't say enough about this book! I loved these characters! So many emotions crossed my heart as I was reading this. You feel so much pain and sympathy for both Elle and Declan when their backstory childhoods are revealed. Hard stuff! The hurt they had to live through and how they got through it made them stronger people! To see what they had become was truly inspirational. I loved their relationship, especially how they were drawn intensely to each other from the first moment. Elle works for the college they both went to and graduated from. She is assigned to write a story about him as an alumnus. She is hesitant because he's a "celebrity" as a YouTube star with his science show and she doesn't "do" celebrities. However, he's nothing like she imagined when she meets him! Declan isn't looking forward to this interview. He just likes to do his science show, hang out with his "team" and do research. But, when he meets Elle, he never wants to be away from her and he doesn't understand it! Loved this story so much!

A thoroughly enjoyable read following the hunky and sexy voiced Declan Davenport and Elle Markle, who has justifiable issues with celebrities. Elle ends up spending 24 hours interviewing Declan, a successful YouTuber who produces informative scientific videos that makes science more relatable to the masses. Elle works in the Welcome Center at Lake Baldwin State University and was working on a series of articles on successful past graduates for the next issue of the uni's magazine. Declan was the next graduate to be interviewed and they both enjoyed the 24 hour interview far more than either of them had expected. Definitely a delightful sweet romance that stands as a read alone successfully but even better if you have read the previous two books in the series. I eagerly await the next installment following Everett's pathway to true love. This is a series l can strongly recommend especially if you love reading clean and well written narratives with relatable characters. It was a joy to read.

This book was absolutely adorable! I need a Declan Davenport in my life, cause this one was just oh so dreamy!
I loved the way this story unfolded. Elle and Declan had an instant connection which I felt as a reader and was cheering for from that very first glance. While the attraction was quick, I felt like the relationship really developed with the time they spent together and I liked that they were both brave enough to share their true feelings and thoughts with one another, it really helped their romance grow.
Declan and Elle both had hard things in their past that made them leery about going all in in a relationship. I enjoyed their individual growth as well as how they made each other better and happier as a couple. The story was super sweet, with great character chemistry, and a fun plot. I love how beautiful the prose was and way this book just made me smile. I read it in a few hours, it was such a great read. The dual POV was a winner for me and I liked the celebrity trope and the way Easton put her own sweet spin on it.
I received an advance reader copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a really cute book about two people who struggle with seeing there selves as enough for someone. I did really like it. I thought the you tube scientist was a good spin on influencers. Although I wish she would’ve told us sooner what he did for his you tube channel like during Elle’s part because I kept wondering why is he so famous?
A little Spoiler*
And I thought it was kinda weird that Elle didn’t touch up or talk about why Declan doesn’t want kids. Yes we the reader could figure it out and I made a guess from all the clues. But she never brought that up and asked him why. And maybe if she had he could’ve opened up a little more there to her. But even after he explained things about his dad she never said “so you do want kids then?” Which to me is just crazy. As a woman who wanted kids if I was dating someone and found out he didn’t want kids. I would find out why and if he really never wants kids and it wasn’t just a I’m scared to be a dad thing, that would be where I couldn’t let things go farther.

This book is Book Three of the series Love Started but can be read as a standalone without any problem.
I always enjoy reading Meg Easton books, they bring joy and a sense of goodness while reading them and after finishing them, this one wasn’t the exception, although at times the theme of insecurities from the past becomes repetitive, even so I enjoyed reading this story.
When Elle and Declan meet for the first time there’s an instant chemistry that neither one of them can’t denied and as much as their past intrudes in their thoughts and threatens to derailed their relationship the love that they have for each other helps them deal with their pasts and look to the future together.

It was nice to get together, by reading, of the whole gang of the admission office of the Lake Baldwin State University (LBSU) and catch up of what is going on with their lives.

I enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait for the next one in the series and see what Everett story is.

Elle works in the admissions department at the college she attended. She loves her job. She has been interviewing alumni of the college for marketing brochures. Her next interview will be with Declan who is a famous YouTube star with a science program. He has a sexy voice and dimples. Elle knows that she won't fall for a celebrity of any kind. Her dad is a famous musician who had never acknowledged her.

The interview is set up as a 24 hour day-in-the-life of Declan. Declan does it because his team thinks this will give him more exposure and allow him to set up his kids science camps nationwide. Declan grew up very poor with a single mom. He doesn't feel that he's worthy of love.

At first glance, Declan is taken in by Elle. Neither of them feel worthy of love. Declan's dad was abusive until he left. Elle's dad never recognized her. A sweet book of finding your worth is God and not from your biological father.

Elle Markel is an admissions counselor for campus recruitment events and she loves the planning and being in front of people. But she was the product of a one night affair from her mother and her rock star father. Her father never even recognized her so she always felt not quite worthy enough. She had an assignment to interview celebrity science educator Declan Davenport. She had always swore not to get involved with a celebrity but how could she refuse this sexy voice and caring person.

Declan was raised by his mother who had left an abusive husband. Raised with very little income he still had a good childhood. Elle and Declan both had a lot of baggage to deal with and they were each pushing the other away. Lots of self doubt and issues but they work through all of it to the end.

I received this ARC from the author for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I loved Elle as a character. She had some subconsciously hidden insecurities that she had to work through. I loved seeing her come into her own and face her issues head on.

Declan was reserved but I loved how he opened up himself to Elle once he found a connection with her. He also had his own set of issues to overcome and he did so wonderfully. I loved his sexy nerd vibe and how he knew when to turn on his charm for Elle 😂

Together they were two people in need of love, validation and assurance but got there albeit with some challenges. I loved their openness about their attraction towards each other from the start and their relationship progression. I especially loved the late night desert confessional and close proximity situation 😋😂

I loved this book and cannot wait for Everett's story 😄

Thank you so much to the author for sending me this ARC.

Elle was born because her mother slept with a rock star but he never accepted her. She’s hardened her heart against celebrity’s because they can’t be trusted! She’s a college recruiter for admissions and loves her job. But she’s told to interview Declan who has a popular science show on UTUBE. She doesn’t want to but has no choice. Declan has a deep voice and looks that makes him a popular UTUBE celebrity but he’s not comfortable with the fans. He’s told that he’s being interviewed and even at his home and he’s x not happy. But after meeting the two are attracted to each other but are afraid to get to close. Can they help each other with their trust issues? I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A sweet small town read. Good for a nice all the wonderful Hallmark feels minus the cheesy cringy ones. The Hero and heroine were good people and rooted for them. The secondary characters were enjoyable and added some fun to the story. They each had their irrational but very real to them distorted thinking and insecurites. That part of the story is true to life and very relatable. They were good for each other and complimented each other well. I thought there was some insightful little nuggets sprinkled it. My favorite "And someitmes 'real' gets scary becuase it makes you confront some of the things you;ve been burying." I thought the final chapter and epilogue was awww & good feels. (3.5/4 stars)

Elle worked at the welcome center. She interviewed alum and wrote articles about them.
Declan was a successful YouTube star and was asked to grant Elle an interview.
Elle was skeptical of his super star status because of past experiences and hurts.
They decided on a 24 hour w patience for the interview. They both came in with many walls built around their hearts and a sure that things wouldn’t change. However life had something else planned. They got together, but lts of fears and worries drive them apart. After realizing that some relationships are so much better when you open completely up they were able to find their happily ever after.
I was given an ARC of this book, and left the review voluntarily. All opinions expressed are my own.

Starts With a Glance but ends with the sweetest romance

This story was so cute. The author brought two total opposites together and helped them find common ground and fit like the missing puzzle piece. I just loved them. It was so fun to see all of Declan teams personalities as well, I hope we see more of them in the future. The flow of the book is fantastic and chemistry is just melting all over the place. I feel this is a perfect sweet romance book. Meg Easton does an amazing job portraying the characters and showing their individual personalities, just like you know them in real life. It was also fun to have characters from the past books as well be mentioned sometimes. All around amazing book!

this book is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone with no problems. Declan and Elle both had traumas during their childhoods but they are successful adults now. When Elle is sent to interview Declan for their alumni newsletter, there is an almost instantaneous spark between them. The more they get to know each other, the more their mutual attraction deepens. But then ... their insecurities raise their ugly heads and cause trouble. This is a great read with clean language and no sexual situations. The characters are complex and the plot is well-paced. I either received an ARC of this book or it was free on Amazon. Either way, this is my honest opinion!
