Spider-Man faces the strongest super-powered foes and most dangerous gauntlets the Multiverse can throw his way, and every time Miles Morales falls, he rises again — stronger than before. Until now. There are some punches you don’t get up from and a new villain isn’t pulling a single one as they threaten everyone and everything Miles loves. Between school, home, his love life and battling super-charged and upgraded villains night and day — Miles is reaching his breaking point. And when this new foe is finished, Spider-Man’s world will be changed forever. Guest-starring Mac Gargan, A.K.A. The Scorpion! Don’t miss the next Marvel masterpiece from writer Cody Ziglar (Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Punk) and artist Federico Vicentini (Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine)!

An intriguing beginning to the run.

Very cool to see Miles in action, though I'm rather curious about the girl and what her deal is.

Miles seems to be carrying quite a weight already and it's only issue 1, so I'll be interested to see what comes next.

Artwork is decent, though fight scenes were a little harder for me to follow. Still good fun, though, and a good balance of action and heart.

Whew this was a GREAT first issue.

The dialogue is solid, very teenager like (I should know I have a 17 year old Niece who talks like this lol) and worked well for Miles growth but oh man the art is so damn good it gets to showcase Miles talents as Spider-man. Overall, can't wait for more.

Really solid start. I LOVE the art. Pretty good monologue from Miles too. I’m wondering what’s happened to Shift, and also where the new suit went?

Never really read a miles solo story but really enjoyed watching miles fight by himself. Showed how he was struggling really well.

It's an intriguing set up, and I gave up on the previous run after about 17 issues, so I'm hopeful this will be a more engaging and intriguing run for Miles.

This new run is off to a promising start, but honestly I'm just obsessed with the paper quality. I hope it's a long term switch

This is a really good opening to a run. It gives the general feel and vibe of what's to come but still tells a fun story

First time reading a Miles Morales comic! I like that he has internal conflict and the monologue about privilege. Excited to see where this goes.
