At a young age, Lihanny’s life was forever altered when, after the murder of her father, her mother decided to sell her to the highest bidder. She didn’t think things could get any worse, but she was sadly mistaken. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time can change your life forever, which is exactly what happened to Lihanny.

Fed up with feeling powerless, Lihanny takes the drug world by storm when she meets Malaki. But what happens when the love for the game trumps everything else? As a woman, Lihanny must work double time to prove herself to be respected as the Trap Queen. Headstrong just like her father, Lihanny will knock down anything that stands in her way.

Lihanny is a beast and a handful at the same time but her upbringing played a part in that. Being in the game is in her blood but she was taught by her boyfriend Malaki; which gave her the love for it. After she kills him to take over the operation, she goes through challenges to get to his connect and convince him to work with her. Read the book to find out the drama that goes down. You won't be bored.

It didn't take me too long to plow through this one! Everyone in this was a hot mess! I wanted Lihanny to sit down somewhere especially when learning that she was pregnant and that her dead father left her millions but noooo. Hard headed! And don't get me started on Malaki! Nasty tail getting everyone knocked up. I hated how he talked to his kids mothers especially the one who just had a baby. I hated everyone but I was low key rooting for Lihanny. There were a few times I rolled my eyes and lost interest toward the end but baby I perked up at Lilanny getting revenge on her ex friend. This satisfied my craving for some good ol urban fiction.

I think this title goes by another name but not sure. I listened to the audio (shout out to Brooklyn Public Library!) and enjoyed the narrators.
