Immersive
Listen I will take Kazmir in any form! I think this was interesting approach so many readers naturally put themselves into the story, so for an author to write in 2nd person was new. And it is highly risky to not give the FMC a name or a whole lot of characteristics but thats the beauty of it every decision and detail was open-ended so it was like what ever your imagination created was it in that moment. And illustrations were the Cherry on top. It was new and spicy cause Kenya Wright don't half step stream ever! Fun read!

I got upto book 3 with The Lion and The Mouse. Main reason being we seemed to be at a logical end with the original Kazimir and Em story but we were getting more and more iterations of their story, same scene, just a different point of view/slightly extended storyline, which I wasn't a fan of.
So, a new book, with Kazimir but the reader inserted in Em's role. Okay, let me give it a try.
Unfortunately, it didn't work for me.
Yes, we have the smut, but above all else it was the chemistry between specifically Kaz+Em that makes the books enjoyable.
So this version where basically you/the FMC is a silent character, who just responds with yes, no or descriptions of Kaz's big dick just wasn't cutting it. This character is also meek to Em's crazy+capable woman persona. You/she had to be given a gun, was just waiting on Captain Save a Hoe, aka Kaz, yet Em would have sorted herself out quick fast. She might have gotten hurt, but she wasn't waiting on anyone.
Then, I don't honestly remember Misha from the books, but I thought he was an okay cousin? This aspect of voyeurism/stalker yanking his dick to you and you are not telling Kaz I wasn't a fan of. He could have either been in the mix (but this goes against Kaz is a selfish bastard persona) or completely not in the mix. The here is your wedding day blood sacrifice/gift just wasn't my cup of tea.
Also, Kaz talked alot! I liked him strong and silent/not necessarily this wordy in the original 3 books.
So, not a fan. Didn't like this iteration of Kaz or the second POV or present tense aspect and won't be going on with any more books in this series.

Look here ...I know this is from the POV of the reader, but I just want to know is there some type of reality show in which I can get one these scenarios happening in real life because bruh!!! Wow. Kenya Wright has not disappointed me yet and lord it gets better and better every book I read from this author. So let me set it up for you...so keep up...because this is a fast paced book with a hot Russian Bratva sexy god and a whole lot of alpha male energy.
You the reader are given the POV (so you are the main character) ...your the heroine, and the bad ass having your man's back. The hard ass nail Russian is your protector and lover ...and doesn't play about you not one bit. This man knows his way around the meow meow and takes you to new levels of ecstasy. In the story it's lust at first sight that fly like the speed of sound into love. Though the sex will make your souls toes curl because of the nasty things your man wants to do to you... there's jealousy and a whole lot of kicking butt.
This is definitely a fantasy to get lost in...the book is fast paced with a lot of smut and happily ever after sprinkle in the mix. I loved it and now we need volume 2.

Predictable and Boring
The writing formula for this series has become boring and unimaginative. The sex scenes are dry and sterile. What about his great love he marries from NYC ??? That storyline with the interfering Frenchman is actually better. Did you think your readers are that gullible ? The sex illustrations are sterile unless you have a cock fetish. I am a new writer and I know you cannot forever keep digging your quill in the same ink well . Move on and write something worth reading because this book is a Big Zero !!! I would say avoid this book if you have great recall about her other books and how the same story is being repeated over and over. OMG

This was hot like fire. This is soap opera level of crazy. Kazimir burst into your house breaking the door down, literally. Instead of scream or calling the police, you take him on a tour of your house, starting with the bedroom. Unfortunately you get interrupted and there begins the insanity that is this novel. I liked it, it was crazy and hot. If you are looking for realism, I don't think this will be your cup of tea. The story is also told in the 2nd person pov which is actually quite well done.

Just Okay
This was a story wanting to be one. While you get brief glimpses of what could be a story,you are plunged right back in the shadows. This is the first time I've read a story from this particular writer and not fallen in love with the story and the characters. Now I refuse to give up on this story especially if its shaping up to become series. Looking forward to something much better.

I like the concept
A little over the top but I like it. Thanks for not making me as her a wimp. My smartass would have asked him what the **** when he burst in my house. I also would have handed them tools to fix the door. I am mouthy if nothing else. I would be shocked a bit. The drawings are amazing! The dtail and imagery have me ready to ride like a barrel racer. The opulence was so very fantasy worthy.

Short, Sexy and Delicious
Man, this had me going if I had a man I would have been on him 4 or 5 times and at the end. He would have been a very happy man. I never saw her name but Kazimir called her Novoluniye which means New Moon, that’s a beautiful name (Russian version that is). I loved that New Moon stepped up to the plate she became his ride or die partner. This was a fabulous read I really enjoyed it.

Kaz is any woman wet dream tall dark and brooding and is packing 10 inches of more,on and did I say rich and madly in love with you to boot.This was a nice quick read and ask said before the visual of the pictures just sends your mind and body over the edge with sexual stimulation.ok truly enjoyed this short story .

Different But AMAZING!
I’m not usually a fan of 2nd person POV but I was hooked. I read it in one sitting. I felt like I was immersed in the story. There was just enough openendedness to allow you to really see yourself as the main character as You would react. Definitely will read the next book.

Hotness
This was a nicer, softer side of Kazimir, but still that ruthless man that we've all come to love. It was a different read based on this type of POV, but still awesome. The sexy hotness is off the chain. One cluck this!!

Pure Fantasy
This short novella is pure fantasy, featuring an alternate universe , OTT alpha , Mafia kingpin Kazimir ( the Lion ) & his techy cousin, Misha. Its a fun read that I wish was as bit longer with more dialogue between the two main characters.

This didn’t really give what it could have gave. The 2nd person POV was hard to get into. Also, I don’t like that they made Misha a sleazy voyeur. However, the illustrations were on point and made up for the puzzling plot.
