Enjoyed this story from the very start. It's like the continuing sag of the one family. Liked both Kiley and Luke. Luck being the real country gentleman with a great upbringing. Looking forward to reading the next in the series
Sandy Appleyard has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Kiley and Luke. Kiley has just found out her boyfriend Ian has been cheating on her and she kicks him out of her house. She decides to take a break from dating until she can get over the betrayal of Ian. She is training to become a physiotherapist and works for her friend Dawson who is an orthopedic surgeon. Dawson is getting married and Kiley was invited to the wedding. After the wedding is over, she meets Luke and they start talking. After a few minutes, she tells him that she needs to go but she sticks around for a little bit. Luke has some work to do on the ranch so he goes to do that. The work he needs to do is fix the vents on the roof of one of the buildings. Kiley watches Luke work for a few minutes and then something happens and he falls off the two-story building. Dawson is the doctor that does the surgery on his leg and Kiley is one of his nurses. She is the one that does the physical therapy on him. One time when they are talking, Luke makes a pass at her and she tells him that she is gay. After she tells him this, she gets upset with herself about it. Things after this are not so great between Kiley and Luke. She is gone for a while and Kerry-Ann has to do his therapy. Kiley talks to Rachel about what she told Luke and she is told to tell him the truth. Kiley tells her that she needs to think about it. Kiley finally tells Luke the truth and he gets a little mad at her for lying to him. Will Kiley and Luke work things out between them? Will Luke's leg get better so that he can ride again? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is book eleven in A Town Without Pity Series and it is Luke and Kiley's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Kiley was furious when she found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her so she threw him out along with all his possession and decided to concentrate on her work as she was in medical school to become a orthopaedic surgeon and she was also doing her intern with Dr Dawson Miller who is an amazing person to work for. While at Dawson's wedding Luke decided to get up on the roof to repair a vent that his mother was complaining about only to fall and badly injured himself and now he needs intense physio to help him get better and be able to go back and work on the family ranch and that is where Kiley comes on to help. Luke and Kiley have a instant connection and attraction but with everything that she had been through and knew that she wasn't ready for a new relationship and told a little white lie but when they started to spend a lot of time together as friends as they had so much in common things started to get even more complicated as feelings were starting to grow and then everything changed but will they be able to get back to being friend's again and maybe something more and then you get a cliff hanger ending and need the next book to find out what happens next. I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down as it was so addictive and kept your attention throughout. This series just gets better and better with each book written and I can't wait to read more book's in the future.
Luke and Kiley start off as patient and therapist, but soon both are struggling to control their attraction and desire for each other. Luke is a natural flirt and ladies man, and has never had a problem with the ladies. His curiosity about his beautiful physical therapist’s private gets him a short sentence “I’m gay” and then distance. Like is surprised then worried he offended her in some one when she won’t even chat with like she usually does during their sessions. He has no idea that she told him a lie in order to keep him from making advances. Her cheating ex messed her up emotionally, so she has sworn off men and relationships. Luke is persistent, gentle, affable and charming and they settle into a friendship that heals them both. But what happens when he learns her secret? Will they realize it isn’t just friendship between them? Their story continues the mystery mentioned in the previous books and ends in a cliffhanger.

Luke and Kiley are drawn together when he becomes a patient after taking a fall off a building. She is a therapist that works with him but the closer they are together the stronger the feelings become. Kiley has gone through heartbreak and isn't quite ready for a relationship and with all the drama going on will these two make it to something more than friends? I loved the story line and can't wait for the next book to see how things end between these two?
