All of the praise and love to my friend Daina for her chapter in Magdalene Codes. It really takes a lot of courage and thoughtfulness to write anything, but more so, to have your own words published in a book. Kudos.
I will admit, I endeavored to read all of the stories, but in the end, fast forwarded to find the one, and happy that I did.
Life throws you curve-balls. People can overcome great many things, but health is top of the list. Thank you for sharing your personal story, growth and continued successes.
The Magdalene Codes is one of those books I really wanted to love. With a title that invites ancient mystery and feminine power, I was ready for a soul-shaking initiation. But what I found instead felt more like a curated influencer circle—beautiful intentions, but too focused on showcasing contributors rather than delivering depth. The codes felt diluted.
That said… I don’t regret reading it.
What this book did do was act as a portal. While it didn’t give me the embodied activation I hoped for, it pointed me toward stories, names, and energies that sparked something real. One mention in particular (hello, Peace Pilgrim 👑) took me on an incredible journey into different reading material. I ended up pausing the book to follow that thread—and that journey cracked open something powerful within me.
So, while The Magdalene Codes wasn’t the medicine I thought I was reaching for, it still turned the key to a door I needed to walk through. And for that, I’m grateful.
