Clover has problems in her hometown so her dad asks his friend if she can stay with him for a while. Clover has grown up a lot since Duke last saw her. Both are attracted to the other but don't want to upset her dad so they do not act on it at first. Eventually they act on their feelings and begin an affair. Duke is so hung up on his past and not being good enough for her that he breaks it off. Clover is crushed. Then her past comes to town. Can Duke help her? Will this bring Duke and Clover back together?
I liked this story. I liked Duke and Clover. They underestimate each other and other people in their lives. This story was hot, just the way I like them. I liked her sister, Faith, their dad, and Ava, Clover's co-worker. They were good people. I look forward to seeing them again in future stories in this series.

Clover is your typical “good girl” on the outside but definitely has fantasies. Clover has to leave Porterville due to an incident involving a cattle prod.
Duke is Troy’s best friend and Clover’s father. Troy has asked Duke for a favor to watch over Clover due to the incident and her safety. Duke was not expecting Clover to be all grown up and curves in the right places. He introduces her to his BDSM side and she is very interested?

This was cute but it did feel a bit rushed..

Absolutely loved this book! Olivia Fox was the author that made me fall in love with smut, never been one for it. So by all means, Olivia Fox was my first! Really enjoying this series and can't wait to dive into Daddy on Fire 🔥
