Wait For The Meatball To Drop, Book 20 in Cocker Brothers, Billy Cooper:
The Cocker cousins has a friend who throws the best parties in town, but things got a little enflamed in Nicholas' love story (Book 16) causing Billy to question his existence. Now he's back, throwing a rager and attracting a witch of a journalist who just might fly to the rescue?
An author, actress, and filmmaker, Faleena Hopkins writes primarily love stories with heat and humor. Sometimes with supernatural tendencies since fantasy and magic are a passion.
She lives in Los Angeles, CA, with her dog, Sophia, where she spends too much time behind a computer (but secretly loves every second).

Not really sure how to review a novella??!! I love Billy and his meatballs and parties but insta love and a quick few pages of romance is more like an outline.
Good luck if this makes you money but it's no Jane Austen.
Even though the Cockers were on the sidelines in this story I still loved reading it. Billy was so awesome and fun! He was honest and sweet when he found out his assistant had a crush on him and he handled the crisis with his business with honor. Haven was great too. She was willing to risk everything for what she thought was right and her reward turned out to be a happily ever after with an amazing man!
Another story that rivals the likes of the first Cocker books!
Congrats to Billy getting his happily ever after and getting his own story in the Cocker series. I rooted for him when he first appeared in the Cocker series when his childhood home burned down after a party he hosted and even more when he meets Haven. As is in other books, there is some angst but is not drawn out in this story. I LOVED this book as much as the first nineteen and am waiting patiently for the next release. Phenomenal writing captures your attention and makes you feel a part of the storyline. Faleena is a talented and wonderful writer. Read her books and make your own opinions and keep in mind these stories are steamy.
For the Cocker Family lovers this book is like a little piece while waiting for more. This book is about Billy, a side character in a couple of the other Cocker books. He is friends with a couple of the Cocker siblings and they have his back and support his party business. During a Halloween bash thrown by Billly he meets the one girl that turns his head. Havenhas been stuck in her head to long, time to get out and join the party. Their relationships goes from there and I loved the end where the Cocker siblings and familiar friends are there a year later to celebrate Billy's proposal. Real short read but worth it. Like a small taste of a still great series while wating for more.
This was wonderful. I always love it when authors decide to give a little more of supporting or background characters. Billy was an excellent choice. Him and Haven were so adorable together. And I absolutely loved the message included in this about living with love and positivity. With all the bad and heavy already in this world that we can't control we should all want to do our part to try to make it better with kindness and love and light. Thank for your light and positivity Faleena and thanks for another great addition to the Cocker series. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.
I’ve loved every one of Faleena’s books I’ve read but I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like this one. The brief appearances of Billy in previous Cocker books did not leave a positive impression of him to me. Honestly I didn’t give him much thought when he was mentioned. BUT, Faleena in her wonderful writing style and creativeness, changed my mind about Billy. He wasn’t the shallow person I thought he would be. She gave him appeal and depth I wasn’t expecting. It was OTT and a bit rushed, but it’s a novella so it’s kinda understandable. Was this her best book she’s written, no, but it was good, enjoyable and I’m happy Faleena wrote it and that I read it.
Well when you wait and wait for a Cocker Brothers novel Faleena throws you a bone! A fantastic holiday novella about a fantastic side character we had previously met in 2 other books. This was a great quick sweet read. I loved Billy and I loved seeing the next generation of the Cockers and getting little tid bits of information about them setting up scenes for their future books. I know Faleena goes with whatever character speaks to her for her next book, but it seems she had a few gabbing away in her ear. I look forward to future books of this great, loving family.
This is Cocky Thanksgiving, a novella by Faleena Hopkins. All of us Cocker family lovers remember Billy, the ultimate party host. We start out at a Halloween party that he is throwing. Haven came to the party and gets to meet Billy. The book is full of fun and sassy moments as the new friends learn to navigate their paths. And as a special bonus we get to drop in on a few of our beloved Cocker cousins! It’s a don’t miss read!
Faleena's ability and talent for creating characters that leap from the pages and enter one's life is beyond comparison. Whether in a novel or novella I believe and believe in them. Billy and Haven meet and the magic begins. With a touch and a kiss they each get a glimpse of their futures, together... even if it takes a little while to become consious understanding.
I'm always happy to spend my time with Faleena's book family! Enjoy
This is Billy’s novella. He is a good friend of the Cockers who we met in previous books. He finally gets his HEA in this short read. There is a pretty epic Halloween party and a great message about living your life with happiness. We choose who we love and who we surround ourselves with. A good holiday read.
Another great Cocker family book. I’m happy to see that Billy Cooper got his own book as he was one of my favorite side characters. The Halloween party was epic and I especially like that Haven was willing to sacrifice to stand up for for Billy. The love story for these two was heartwarming. Another home run for Faleena Hopkins.
I was so excited to see this new book from Faleena. As she has done recently, this holiday centered novel features one of the friends of the Cocker family. It's so wonderful when a cast of characters grows and expands. Billy was a side character in two other Cocky novels and it was so great for him to have his story with Haven. A short easy-to-read novella was just what I needed.
As always Faleena Hopkins delivers another heartwarming, loving, and adorable characters as Billy Cooper and Haven Horten's. Attractive and personable they're drawn to each other and as the story unravels romance isn't just a fantasy its a party of the heart. Loved it!
I love all the stories, each one takes you to a different level. You still keep up with the characters because they are family, or close friends of the family. So chosen family, and the love they share makes you want to be a part of it.I Not a lot of drama just a lot of love and support, pretty cool.
A short read, but a good story. I have fallen in love with these Cocker families & their friends. Billy was introduced to us in a prior book & he is a wonderful extended family member. Haven is sweet & smart, with a little luck on her side. The chemistry was there, but more of a simmer & not the normal steamy hotness that I’m used to. A sweet, fun storyline. Told in dual POV.
Once again, Faleena, you knocked it out of the park! I'm so glad Billy got his own story! As usual I enjoyed the depth of characters and their complex and human emotions. Billy and Haven are beautiful.
Loved the story line. Where they miss communicate and still come together stronger within themselves. Love that her dad and her finally see each other for who they are. It was a great novella read.
Faleena you’ve done it again. Another epic and exciting book. I love reading about all of this family. Haven and Billy’s story is another outstanding storyline. Please can we not wait so long for the next book.
I loved this story, and welcome another one in the series...of which I've read in entirety .. This one was really a feel good deal and a happy break from every day :-) Welcome back, Faleena, its been awhile since we had a (Cocker) family visit!
Honestly it never even occurred to me that Billy might get his own book but I'm very happy he did. This was a great surprise. Nice to read about to Cocker's (& co.) again! Missed them!
Would like to Thank faleena for a another great story .Loved Billy and Would love to go to one of his party's . Amazing once again .you just carnt help loving this family and there friends
Faleena never lets us down when she writing a Cocker book. Although he's not technically a Cocker they're still there to root him on in his love story. I loved Billy in the other books as well, so this was a nice fit. I just know we'll see Billy and Haven again.
YEAH!!! Thank you Faleena Hopkins for another wonderful story!!
Completely loved Billy and Haven's love story! Great reading about the Cocker family if from the sidelines. Now I really can't wait for Wyatt's story!! Thank you again Faleena Hopkins!!!
Another absolutely wonderful cocky story! I have been impatiently waiting for this new book in the series. Faleena yet again you didn't disappoint! I so can't wait for the next full length book to find out which Cocker finds love next. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I enjoyed this heartwarming holiday story and happy for our honorary Cocker member Billy. I can't wait to see what else happens with him involved in the mix because there is still the sister cousins to get to. Waiting with baited heart beat!
Loved every page, this story was so sweet and a great addition to the Cocker family. Thank you Faleena for giving us these wonderful words that come together like a fairytale ❤️
Although Billy is not a Cocker by blood he fits in well with the clan. Billy meets his match in Haven but can the Halloween scare gone wrong finally bring the together?
Good story. I like that it focused more on the relationship than sexual chemistry.
I loved this! I hope this story runs in the way that social media ran with this author this past year! I am glad that the Cockers are back! I loved Billy and Havens story. How she went to bat for him. I just love these books!
I wish this book had been longer! I think there was a good structure here for a more in depth look into the characters! Love the happy endings but could stand for a bit of angst other than a momentary misunderstanding.
This was a great addition to the Cocker series. Nothing like finding out more about the friends in a short and sweet spin off. Thanks again to some amazing writing.
