3.5 STARS
The plot was really good, there was a lot of action and fights and betrayals. The characters were amazing even the secondary characters. Nicoleta was a bad b^tch I love her. She was such a strong and fearless woman that I was rooting for her the entire book. Even though Luca was the 4th prince and one of the most powerful vampires he was a giant teddy bear. He was sweet and caring and very protective of Nicoleta.
Whats stopping me from rating this higher was the writing. The entire story was going by really fast. It was like one minute they're fighting and the next scene its over and they back home. I would have liked a little bit more details. Also at times the Diologue sounded a little bit forced

Really enjoyable with lots of great twists and turns, this book kept me turning pages and wanting so much more , fantastic read and looking forward to reading more from the author.

What happens when you fall for the one, you're supposed to kill?
Nicoleta works as a Bounty Hunter; not because she enjoys it but because she is trying to pay off a debt her family owes to the King. When she is given the assignment to kill the fourth prince Luca things change in the blink of an eye when her mark ends up being the person who saves her during an assassination attempt by another group.
Luca is known as a Ruthless Vampire Prince and has been accused of things which aren't entirely true. Luca and Nicoleta spends time together while he nurse her back to help after an injury that almost killed her. The more time they spend together the more Nicoleta realizes that Luca isn't the evil vampire she was made to believe he was.
Somebody is out to set Luca up and steal everything he has worked hard to achieve. It's up to him and Nicoleta to put the pieces of the puzzle together before it is too late.

After a little help from a friend, she steps into the shoes of a bounty hunter, and finds it to be a perfect fit for her. This is my first book I've read by Nikki Grey & it definitely won't be my last!!!
The character development is fantastic, the backstorys are sad and the world she built is right up my alley. I love Romania!!
We get lots of action, betrayal left and right, drama and some extremely sexy scenes. I won't give specifics but at the end we I wish we found out what Maria's choice was. We found out Daniel's. Maria is a minor character but she stole my heart due to her personality.
The only time I put the book down was to feed my Chihuahua. I 100% recommend this and hope Nikki Grey continues with the vampires of Romania.

I’ve read vampire stories before from this author and enjoyed them, but for some reason I had a hard time staying with this story. I think it’s because there was more politics and war than I want to read at this time. There was definitely romance there, too, and the story line seemed continuous and well thought out with a great HEA for those that deserved it. I would still recommend for those that like vampire stories, just know that it’s a fast paced political thriller as well.

I loved this book! Great world building and wonderful characters. There was this refined air to the writing that I really liked. I also loved the characters. Prince Luca and Nicoleta were such a great couple. She was a bounty hunter come to assassinate him, but he wasn't who she was led to believe and tried to save him instead. They had such great chemistry. The story was exciting and intriguing and I couldn't put it down. This was the first book I've read by this author and I look forward to reading more. 5 stars.

Nicoleta and Luca not only are living in different classes, but they are also of different species! The attraction is instant for both of them as soon as they met. The circumstances of their meeting is unusual to say the least. Lots of twists and turns along the way.
Can they forge a new path together that means they can be happy? You'll have to read to find out!

Here I am enjoying my birthdays,only to g one a beautiful young woman at the side of the ballroom were others danced and drinking l stoped to talk to her one dance and outside where I hoped to kiss her only to be a tacked by assins but I am surprise by the young woman for she jumped in and killed.one of them.Jen asked why she told me that she had been sent to kill me but could do it,and my heart started to beat and love started that night.I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm

I liked the premise. The book was a nice, quick read. Tropes: enemies to lovers, insta love, hunter/vampire, urban fantasy paranormal romance
Steam level:2.5 chili peppers
The time period was a bit confusing. At some moments, I was very confused whether the setting was the 1800's or the 2020's. If not for the mention of cars, TV, and other modern amenities, I would have placed the story in the Victorian era. Other than that, I liked the main characters. Especially our FMC Nicoleta. She is no damsel, and packs a punch.
I do wish the author developed the story a bit more. I feel like a lot of things in the secondary plots were unresolved. But that did not take away from the main story. I'm giving it 4 stars because I did enjoy it, but I feel it had the potential to be more.

kind of sappy but pretty good
