Ruby, Bee, Jamie and Cookie have settled nicely in Mystery. The bakery is finally doing a decent business, Jamie and Ruby are adapting to married life and Ruby, well Ruby is still Ruby living in a cottage on the property. Bee is on her way home one night when she spots lights in the graveyard. The next day, they hear the news that there have been graverobbers in the cemetery. Everyone is up in arms wondering who and why this is happening. The police department bring in an officer from Portland to assist Mike in investigating the crime. Bee and Ruby decide to help Mike out and solve this case. Join they as they uncover evidence and secrets.

I love the characters. The friendship, camaraderie and love they shared for each other were wonderful! It made you feel like they were your friends and felt like you lived in the town. The plot and characters were well-written, making you feel like you are friends. This was a perfect cozy mystery with just the perfect amount of humor, mystery, intrigue, and adventure that will keep any reader completely engaged. I highly recommend the series.

Another fantastic book in the Bee's Bakery Cozy Mystery Series. Once you begin, you just have to read it straight through. AND get ready for laughs as well as mystery. Ruby and Bee are doing well with their bakery and have made a nice following and friends in the small town of Mystery Maine. They were doing so well, they were talking about taking a little vacation. That is until there is some grave robbing happening in their little town. What is going on? And when an unknown dead body shows up, the townspeople are scared. What is going on? Of course, Dee has to get involved in solving the mystery bringing Ruby along with her, much to the anger and ire of the local inept detective. Can they solve this mystery and not end up in jail for interfering? Will the small town return to the normal, peaceful little town? With some chuckles along the way, the irascible Bee and the calming influence of Ruby we are taken on an adventure. I love this series and can't wait to see what the next Bee and Ruby adventure is. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions here are strictly my own.

Another wild and crazy murder mystery adventure with two of our favorite bakers. I liked having Bee as the main character first person for a change. Things sound really different when told by her, but in a super good way! I liked reading the clips from her diary that the author provided in her newsletter and at the end of the last book, so I was happy to see Bee switch into the driver's seat for this book. It'd be fine with me if the author decided to switch back and forth since I really like both these ladies equally.

This case was kinda messed up in places, but Bee was on it and what's that? Ruby wasn't quite in the sleuthing mood? Read this latest for all the great scoop in Mystery, Maine! Will be borrowing the next book on KU when it's out.

i think it is hilarious how you don't know an author very well but then suddenly ...you get to know an author real fast. i have read 3 books by RAP so lately and i even have 3 others i have yet to start from her collection, that i will be reading soon. and a new one that is coming out soon ...but i have yet to PreOrder it ...but know it is there. check her out. so fun!! great reads. love her Goodreads profile. what fun!! who doesn't love baking/cooking. fun times!! i don't think this one has anything to do with the other??! #25 is the one i did read. Cake Pops and Murder (A Bite-sized Bakery Cozy Mystery Book 25 ... and Devil's Food Cake and Death (A Bee's Bakery Cozy Mystery Book 3) ...fun reads all the same ...mystery is awesome. love that genre so so much!!

Graverobbers!

Bee and Ruby are settling into their new life in Mystery. Ruby is happily married to Jamie. She would like Bee to find happiness too, preferably with Detective Mike but Bee is reluctant to let go of her past and is avoiding the relationship. When graverobbers strike in the local cemetery Bee does the unthinkable in her eagerness to solve the case and places her relationship in jeopardy. Can she redeem herself in Mike’s eyes or is she fated to grow old alone with only her new little puppy to love?

This is a well-written cozy mystery with twists and drama for added reading enjoyment. I received an advance copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

Absolutely one of her best! This one had me from the get-go. Intriguing story about grave robbing tied in with an old unsolved murder. The plot was very well thought out. And it came with the usual B and Ruby laugh out loud humor. And it kept me guessing right till the end with a suspenseful ending. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

This book is a little different because it is told from Bee's point of view, instead of Ruby's, like the others in the series. Bee is the owner of the bakery, and Ruby is her best friend and co-owner. They help provide yummy treats for the town of Mystery, and help Mike, the detective, solve crimes and murders. Just fun books to read!

Ruby and Bee are enjoying life and their new bakery. They notice lights in the cemetery and think nothing of it until the next morning when the paper reveals the cemetery has been robbed. They investigate along with the rest of the cast of characters. A great mystery with plenty of action and suspects. Enjoy.

A cemetery conundrum

Why would someone dig up old corpses? Bee is trying to get to the bottom of this puzzling occurence. An entertaining read with the story from Bee's point of view. Intriguing twists. I enjoyed reading this book.
