Harvard launched a collection of articles on Performance Management. I found many of them to be helpful. Some things struck a chord, but I didn't expect the book to teach me something new with every page. There is something to be appreciated when you read something that reinforces what you've previously learned or experienced. For example, the article on the difference between a manager and a leader, such as looking after your own stature vs looking after your team's development.

I did enjoy the insights about Deloitte. I found their annual review program to be enriching, and would love to one day find a book about deploying something theirs in my organization. Articles that shared data and results is what impacted me the most about this book. People are tired of the rank and yank methods. We are due for a change!

Not as informative or insightful as On Talent and Reinventing HR.
I only found 3 articles that gave some new insights, the rest were not super helpful
