I was literally embarrassed to post this to my Goodreads. Like, god, people I know are going to know I read this. But yes, I did read this. It was terrible.
Listen, I like porn, I have loved a lot of stories that are light on plot and heavy on weird porn, I'm even cool with the set up of "oh you're the only man here, you have to fuck all of us, David 🥺", but man this is not where it's at. There's a ton of blatant sexism, but also more subtle racism and homophobia! The main character starts a sex cult and the people who say "this is really weird and fucked up" are the bad guys!
I did like the character of Gertrise, who is deeply unimpressed with our hero and is deeply lesbian -coded (yes those two things are correlated), but she is clearly being set up to fuck David at some point, so I'm sure all traces character will at some point completely leave her.
Its a good story line but ....the writer has not said a thing about flushing out continued books as needed. I would add that the Author had added a but of stupid to his hero in combat situation as he is falling gravity short of situation awareness of who his enemy is and most importantly where the enemy is at all timex. The author falls short in this manner and leads the reader to believe our hero is just plain stupid by not doing certain things common in close combat .one being never to leave your prisoner unsecured or left unattebded. The Author has only said to be continued but I think all authors should be held to a standard of letting his customer know exactly what he WILK do with any story line . in closing out this review its only fair to ask that Authors write a story to satisfy themselves and not us the customer . we as the customer become entwined with the characters in these stories get the author often ends the story without telling us what is up if it is ended let us know ,if not then tell us what to expect . The good writers will let us know. In this case it just might be better to move on to a better writer And that is up to you . Its a good story but I will move ona
Wow. Just wow. I try to give everything the benefit of the doubt and I kept going through this book thinking maybe it will get better but it kept getting worse. I am embarrassed to add this one to my Goodreads. The idea behind the story of someone dying and waking up in a new world is intriguing, but the amount of smugness and main character syndrome exhibited by the person this happens to has made me cringe on a very deep level. The story sounds like “frat bros” trying to warm up each other with more and more impossible stories of their “sexual prowess”. Honestly I wouldn’t have been surprised if at any point the line “and then everybody clapped” came up. I will not be partaking in any further works by this author. The only reason I finished this book was because I do not like leaving things incomplete. I also never thought I would see the phrase “Long Nipple” so many times it’s almost like the story was written by a middle schooler that was just starting puberty that only had access to a thesaurus for about 30 minutes.
For starters I do recommend this book it was cute and funny in a lot of parts. The main character has quirks and there are some pros and cons of any story. So what did I like about this Nana well 1st of all I like that the character was able to get things done he wasn't too overpowered in his abilities as it was getting everything taken care of I mean he was getting hurt along with doing damage as well.
Okay so what did I not like about the story well 1st of all what I did not like was all the milking and dealing with the breast milk and they don't have cows anymore they use breast milk for milk. Okay I get it's silly and I imagined that the author thought he was adding some humor into the story but I personally just did not like it and didn't care for.......
David dies and wakes up in a world where a plague either killed all the men or made them eunuchs. The village he joins is dying with no men and the women being led to believe they shouldn't do anything by a witch queen. David does as the title suggests, he provides, defends, and definitely breeds the women.
Honestly, this would be a 5 star if not for the fact that David is an idiot and survives through plot armor alone. Almost everytime he leaves the village he does something idiotic and only survives through luck. It gets worse toward the end (I lost track for the times I wanted to throw my phone because of his stupidity). As it is I'll give this a 3.5/5.
This is... not good. The plot is uninspired, the romance/spice isn't titillating, and the prose itself is just... so bad. The descriptions of the environment are terrible, the characters reactions are very flat, and there are some very weird actions. In the very start of the book, you have the gem where a cougar sneers when the MC is fighting it. Like, is the cougar sapient? Is the author just trying to describe the cougar showing its teeth? Does it actually feel disdain for the MC? So strange.
Really feels like a first draft for a book that needs like, 4 more drafts before release. If a competent editor was marking things to change with red pen, the entire book would be dripping ink.
Whilst the general principal of a character being transported or reincarnated or resurrected into another world is one that has been used many times over, it is always fun and interesting to see to see what an author does with it.
The world created is only a fraction of what I hope to see as this series continue and the characters were interesting, although I hope to learn of the different cultures and why some characters of the different species react or behave in certain ways.
Well now nothing new here but quite enjoyable. A village... a world even full of women who need a man. Problems abound And nothing is quite that simple. David Is Slow to learn what abilities he has gotten since he arrived here. There's no manual. He's slowly gains power as he gets faithful followers to bond with him. In the meantime he has a lot to protect. Good fun book. I look forward to the next one.
An entertaining, fun story with great potential to be a great series!! Enjoyable adult fantasy activities, good adventures, good world building and some enjoyable battle sequences!! The flow of the story could use some work and the explanation of the magic needs some work but all and all a good start!!!
Hello, I Liked the hero of the hero and the ways he deals with struggles. You knew who the villian was from the start. Also liked how the hero saved the villain while the villain continiously tried to destroy t the hero's reputation. It was a good read. I await the second part of this story. Thank you.
The book is super enjoyable for guys, especially for those who like their fantasy a bit more grounded and reminiscent of Celtic iron age. My biggest complaint is it ends on a bit of a damn cliffhanger! The cover is a bit misleading too, as the goblin girl only shows up near the end. But overall very pleased.
I really enjoyed the book. It kept me interested from beginning to end, and it kept me invested in all the main characters in said story. They only real negatives are how they gave very little backstory to the main character and some of the supporting characters. Other than that it's pretty great!
Decent read. The only real issue I had with it is that the story doesnt end in a way that feels satisfying. Its not a cliff and there will be more. BUT I still feel like this one was missing something at the end.
Generic characters there isn't anything with this story that makes them interesting or unique. The whole story revolves around the MC making the village women subservient to him and his rekindling of the way things used to be. Gonna have to skip book 2.
Definitely enjoyed this story and was overall,a fun read. Am definitely looking forward to the next one and seeing where it goes from there. Lots of ways it can go from the ending and hope to read more in this series.
The writing was good. I didn’t notice a single issue with editing. The story and characters were Ok. It didn’t really grab me. I’d read the next book in the series, but I will not be anticipating it.
Wake up, new world, new body, new life plan. Seems that is what happened to David. And he is loving it. So hunt, build, and breed. Simple right, nothing is ever that simple. Now the fun begins.
Well written. Very good character development. Not the run of the mill harem story. A bit heavy on the sex lines for my liking but still a very thought out story.
I picked this one up on Kindle Unlimited because of the cute monster girl on the cover what I got was an unpolished diamond in the rough and a desperate hope for more
This series offers a lot of impressive world building. It slowly introduces the characters and let's the bonds that form happen naturally. A little short on monstergirls but by the end of it there is set up for a lit more. I've already started book 2.
I didn't even finish it. Once the MC reached a character who was a virgin, it became so utterly unreadable and cringe that I lost any and all desire to see it through to the end. I never DNF books but this one managed that.
A few grammar mistakes and a few typos but nothing too distracting. Great story with very little boring exposition or down time. Solid adventure tale 6/5, would read again.
This is a fine light Isekai fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like the little girl. I anxiously await the sequel.
Excellent start to a new series, loved the characters. I’m looking forward to watching the mc’s relationships grow and the adventure that’ll lead to more power
