Elle baker is fresh out of college small town girl. She lost her mother three years ago and helps take care of the house with her father. Foster offers her a position to work directly with him at his company for double the pay. The interest she has in him forces her to accept the job. A phone call revealing the unexpected death of her father sends her and her newfound interest, back to her hometown to take care of the arrangements. There she finds that her father was hiding a will for her, worth millions. Money means nothing to her as she values life over everything else, and the loss she has gone through has shown it. With both parents now gone Foster comforts her and creates a passionate spark inside the two of them. She must start a new life in Peachwood and forget about her past. She begins to understand that Foster is her new life. This first book draws you into a world of pain and love. Trying to cope with the loss of family and beginning a whole new life while unexpectedly falling for someone. Starting life with a millionaire and then becoming a millionaire yourself changes everyone somehow. Elle doesn’t let that happen to her. She takes the road less traveled and continues to live her normal life and joins Foster for bigger things.
