A Hilarious and Heartening Take on the Pitfalls of Modern Dating.
As the clock strikes midnight over a disastrous New Year's Eve and happy couples celebrate all around her, Kate makes a resolution, hastily scrawled on the back of a napkin, that next New Year's Eve she will have found someone of her own to kiss.
But when you're a forty-something cat-mom who'd rather binge Netflix than brave the singles scene, finding someone to kiss turns out to be harder than it sounds. Kate is totally unprepared for navigating hook-up apps, speed-dating, and sliding into somebody's DMs.
With the end of the year rapidly approaching, Kate seems further than ever from reaching her goal. As relationships crumble around her and dark long-kept secrets spill out, could Kate's fixation on her quest cause her to let true love slip through her fingers forever?
Someone to Kiss is a wry and witty romantic comedy, tackling serious issues with real heart. The perfect new read for fans of Beth O'Leary, Jennifer Weiner and JoJo Moyes.

4⭐ Genre ~ romance Setting ~ Canada Publication date ~ September 22, 2022 Est page Count ~ 302 (NYE + 68 chapters + NYE) POV ~ single 1st & dual 3rd Featuring ~ debut, timeline flashbacks, mental illness, anxiety, rape references, slow burn, no steamage
Been there done that ~ drinking in your 40's is way different than drinking in your 20's for sure and I felt the author did a great job of depicting how it takes a few days to really recover.
Kate has always been unlucky in love. I mean she was a bit much back in her 20's, but when you're young and in love you do some crazy stuff. She decides to give online dating a whirl to find someone to kiss on the next New Year's Eve. Some of the dates were doozies and funny.
BFF's, Julie and Ben, play a big part in the story and have their own 3rd person chapters. They each have their own issues they are harboring. Boss Terry is an absolute tool and I don't know how his crap was put up with for so long. Even her work 'buddies' were iffy.
Overall, this was a fine debut that had some funny moments. The ending was not at all a surprise to my keen eye and I'm happy with it, but it was quite a journey getting there.

What a charming tale! Such a rollercoaster reading this book was. When Kate, who is in her 40s and is still unmarried, attends a wedding on New Year's Eve, she drunkenly makes a pledge to have someone to kiss the following year.
The protagonist Kate and her friends set out on a journey of self-acceptance and healing in the novel about loving oneself as much as finding love in others.
I truly appreciate Kate's character since she was genuine and didn't attempt to alter herself for a man. Even yet, I did find myself feeling a little annoyed with Kate, especially when she still lacked the courage to do something about the possibility standing in front of her the entire time. But it also helped to give her character a more grounded quality.
I really liked all of the characters in this since they were all so well crafted. Ben was quiet and how his tale unfolded. Although Julie's story had a harsher tone, I was deeply moved by her throughout the entire book.
I loved the author's focus too on mental health and anxiety, and the hints of vulnerability they revealed by using several points of view gave me more understanding of these weighty subjects and the hidden battles many people wage.
She demonstrated the effects they had on the person, people around them, the power of a support system, as well as the resistance to admit you need help, particularly if you don't think you deserve to recover.
Even if the writing style is not my favorite and has certain flaws, I believe you may still enjoy the story's tempo and narrative.
This book is certainly not the kind of romance you had hoped for at first, but in my perspective, it is more of a journey for someone who feels lost and behind especially given the pressures of their society and anyone might connect to it.
Nevertheless, everything worked out in the end. A delightful book surprise.
Thank you to NetGalley and BookGoSocial for providing an ARC in return for honest review.
A lovely sweet story. This novel focuses on Kate, a single woman in her forties. On NYE, she pledges to find ‘someone to kiss’ by next NYE.
“You’re one of those sad women who would do anything for a guy. A woman who doesn’t have any opinions of her own. You want men to like you so much that you turn yourself into an extension of them”
This quote sums up the main character. We go through her current goal of finding someone to kiss with some flashbacks of failed relationships where she usually got so needy. Cuts off everyone and is not surprising when they break up with her one way or another.
Her best friend Julie points out how threatened Kate is by her because Kate is so full of negativity towards her best friend as Julie has what she wants in life. All because Julie is actually nice to everyone (instead of pretending to be a good person), Kate misinterpret this due to her low self-esteem issues and thinks she’s flirting with one of the few guys she kind of likes although Kate made zero effort to show she is into whichever guy it is. Another thing that annoyed me about Kate and her low self-esteem and jealousy is that when it comes to Julie’s brother Ben. How can she not see that she’s into him? She gets jealous once again that he doesn’t message her as much anymore and so forth. Perhaps take the hint and see he was into you. And the feelings you have obviously mean you have feelings of some sort for him too.
I wish the novel got to the point like others however at the same time I did enjoy exploring the online dating scene from all of the different points of views we got to meet along the way and it was hilarious the different types of weirdos out there ones you wouldn’t have put together or ones you were expecting.
From speed dating, real life, blind, to online dating it was a great mixture. It was very enjoyable to read about. The characters were very developed I must say and it was written in a way that kept me reading which are the main things for me to read.
I really enjoyed reading about not only the dating aspect but the friendship aspect. Just because one person has more success naturally does not mean you have to have so much hatred inside you towards that person due to your own feelings about yourself. Be happy for the person and their success instead of being so immaturely jealous of them! Anyone can see how jealous Kate is and how unreasonable she is. Just makes her out to look pathetic that she cannot be her own person picking on Julie who everyone can see did nothing wrong at all as it is all of Kate’s actions. How does Kate not see her actions are showing everyone she’s being childish? You wouldn’t think these characters are in their mid-forties based on how they act and everything which again, was another aspect I loved in this read.
This novel covers many aspects from a few points of view overall I really did enjoy this. Thanks to the publishers for sending me this novel in exchange for my honest review.
Kate was at a wedding and very drunk when she decided she was tired of being single and wanted to find someone to kiss by next new years. Kate was so drunk that she passed out with her butt hanging out underneath a table. She did however wake up with the worst hangover.
Kate had told Julie about her resolution for finding someone to kiss. Julie thought it was a good idea. Kate showed her a dating site and Kate made a profile. She went on some dates with no success.
I really liked this book. The story was really great! The character development was spot on too. I had no issue understanding the issues the characters were dealing with. I couldn’t put the book down. I really like it a lot. I was hooked all the way to the end.
I was really looking forward to this one, mainly because of the character's age. Online Dating in your 40s ? Yes please.
However, the only thing that made me really see their age was the occasional "in your 20s", "20 years ago", etc stuff. Anything else was pretty much as it would have been if the characters were not in their 40s.
I was actually enjoying the book up until about the 50% mark. Kate was..something. I thought she started to get annoying and I think it was mainly because I couldn't see a 40+ year old woman in her behaviour. There was a point when Kate was mainly judging all the messages she received from men, which sure, fair enough, but I kept thinking "why didn't Kate took the initiative and wrecking her brain for a good opening ? Why does she wait everyday for a man to write her ?". Isn't online dating all about how to start the conversation and then get to the dating part ? Well, apparently she did indeed wrote some men, which was later mentioned in a sentence. Ok. I guess.
Terry was an annoying piece of a human being but he was suppose to be like that and that's fine. The whole situation of Kate having to set up a work out plan for Terry...sorry what ? I just couldn't wrap my head around her just nodding and off and didn't even properly say "no" to that. Why didn't she stand her ground ? This is a reaction I would expect from a 20-something intern, not from a grown woman. I will say that this probably threw me more off than it should have, but I just don't get it.
Also, staying with Terry, big yes to Kate actually standing her ground during that last staff meeting. And what an absolute mess that no one in that company supported her ? Like wtf. Anyway..
It got a bit fast towards the end though. You can see the moments when Kate actively started to think more and more about Ben, but the moment between this and the realisation "it has always been Ben" was not very obvious I guess. It happened very out of nowhere.
Generally, I liked the short chapters, but this is more personal preference than anything else. The writing itself was also super easy to follow. I really enjoyed the chapters from Julie's and Ben's pov! It was also very predictable on who Kate will end up with, which was fine by any means.
Over all my main take from this book is that dating sucks no matter your age. It was a fine read for in between.
Thank you BooksGoSocial for providing this book for review via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
If you minus a few drinks, and add a couple extra cats, then I think I may have just seen my future play out in this front seat view to Kate’s dating life, unfolding in a splash of chaos, heartfelt memories, and awkward encounters.
Kate is desperate for someone to love her as fiercely as she loves, and, after a few too many drinks on New Years and an unconscious pledge scrawled on a napkin, she finds herself diving deep into the chaos of the singles scene in search of the one.
In this story about loving yourself as much as finding love in others, Kate and her friends embark on a journey of self acceptance and healing. Packed full of laughs, awkwardness, and unrestrained thoughts, Somebody to Kiss was an often light and entertaining read about the trenches of dating and the search for Mr. Right. A search that was in no way easy, and in many ways relatable as a reader.
I appreciated Anderson’s spotlight on mental health and anxiety, and the whispers of vulnerability disclosed through their use of different points of view allowed an additional insight into these heavy topics and the silent battles many fight. While I did like the few chapters from Ben and Julie’s POV, and the opportunity to explore their learnings in loving themselves, I wasn’t entirely sold on the idea of the dual POV as it was and would have preferred to see a little more consistency in these to give it that seamless effect. As it stood, the scarcity left me craving more, and I hope we will be seeing more of Julie and the rest of her journey unfolding in future works.
Featuring all the laughs and awkward moments of your favourite rom-com, and a cast of 40+ characters, Someone to Kiss is suitable for all seeking that extra rush today.
TW: mentions of rape (recalled, not on page)
Thank you to Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the copy of this book. 3.5⭐️
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read a copy of this book, I loved it!
Kate is in her forties and on a drunken New Year’s Eve, decides that this year will be the year that she finds someone to kiss on the following New Year’s Eve. And so begins the perils of online dating, speed dating, blind dates and everything in between! Online dating is a minefield and the author’s depiction of that was absolutely spot on. It’s humorous but also a little bit scary at just how accurate it is!!
This was a really good story with so many funny, laugh out loud moments. Kate was so relatable. I am sure that most women could relate to her at some point in their lives. She has her two best friends, Julie and Ben. Both of which have their own issues and problems in their personal lives, but Kate is a little bit blind to that for a bit as she’s focused on trying to find ‘the one’. Julie and Ben are great supporting characters, and I was really rooting for Julie, so I was so glad when she finally opened up towards the end. Kate’s boss Terry was comically awful. He was just horrific and I was punching the air with joy when she finally told him about himself!!!
Some great explorations of mental health, functional alcoholism, past experiences of trauma and rape (it’s not in great detail but could be very triggering so please do be aware), and loneliness.
I really did enjoy this book, it was more than just a rom com, and the main characters were fantastic. My ONLY areal gripe with it is I knew exactly how this book was going to end by the time I’d read 8% of the book, and whilst I still enjoyed the story, I did spend the following 80-85% of the book just thinking OPEN YOUR EYES KATE!!!! 🤣 But a great read, and I would definitely recommend it!
2.5 stars rounded up. Not sure why, but let’s be nice today.
So, so very predictable (if you don’t know immediately who the MC is going to end up with the second they are introduced you’ve obviously never read a romance book…), but I know a lot of people like that.
The MC however is a complete and utter mess in every single way. And an idiot. And also, do some laundry, for goodness’ sake! (seriously, a forty-something woman who still has to pick up dirty clothes from her bedroom floor to wear on an almost daily basis has bigger problems than a lack of boyfriend!)
The only half-way likeable character is Ben. But his doormat tendencies make him a little tiring after a while too.
OMG! I just realised this is a cheap and dirty contemporary version of Vanity Fair! And the MC is Amelia! Julie is Rebecca! This was probably not intentional by the author (or maybe it was, what do I know?), but yeah… It fits (more or less)! I will, however, stick to said classic in future, thank you.
I was able to read this book prior to release as an ARC from NetGalley.
It was a sweet, not spicy romcom read; the story follows the FMC journey through dating after she makes a New Year's resolution to kiss someone before the following NYE. The book is a cutesy love story which includes found family and mental health/self care love story too.
I found it hard to relate to the main character- as she was meant to be mid forties; as it read as if she was younger and the author was trying hard to push the "older woman" tripe.
All around easy, cute read. Would recommend to younger YA readers getting into the romance category who aren't (yet) interested in spice.
⚠️Triggering content briefly describes a rape, alcoholism and mental illness. ⚠️
Oh dear, this sounded so much like reading my old diaries, having gone through so many failed relationships, I pledged that my life was definitely going to begin at forty...and it did!
Absolutely charming and a delight to read with some truly likable characters, and some embarrassing situations that we've all found ourselves in; the drunken NYE party, online dating disasters, the delights of Tinder etc...
Someone to Kiss is a heartwarming, lighthearted and highly enjoyable read. It does have mentions of Mental Health and addiction which are handled in a sensitive manner.
If you want to know more about the pitfalls of modern dating, like cats and enjoy having a giggle, this is the book for you!
Many thanks to Random Things Tours for my tour spot.
Someone to Kiss by Canadian Author Jamie Anderson was the perfect Rom-Com to read on New Year’s Eve and bring in the New Year! I started it on the Eve and had it finished by 1 am.
This attractively covered book starts on NYE and ends on the following NYE covering a year in the life of Kate, a 43-year-old single cat mommy, her friend Julie and Julie’s brother Ben. The novel is chalked full of the horrors, hilarious misadventures, and awkward moments of modern online dating, speed dating, and single meet-and-greet events, making me so glad that I grew up in a different generation. I really enjoyed reading a debut novel, set in Canada, where most of the characters were middle-aged, closer to my age than my son’s. I look forward to reading Anderson’s next novel.
This is a well-written and fun novel! I enjoyed the characters very much. There is some humor, but it's not overdone. The dialogue is realistic and the plot is engaging (a 43-year-old woman resolves to find a boyfriend over the next year and turns to dating sites). The story moves along at a good pace. I'd like to read more by this author.
On New Year’s Eve Kate is at a wedding and whilst everyone is welcoming in the new year Kate realises that she is alone and she has no one to kiss. So she vows that by the end of the year she will have someone that she can bring in the new year with. So starts Kate’s journey into the world of dating. Will Kate meet the one before the years out?
I really enjoy this book. At times it was funny but at times it was very emotional. What really surprised me about this book is that there is so much more to the story than what is presented in the blurb. Essentially this book is pitched as Kate’s journey into the world of dating to see if she can find the person that she is meant to be with by the end of the year but the story isn’t just about Kate. In fact the story is about three people. Very early on we are introduced to Kate who is very lonely but wants to be in a relationship. Her past relationships haven’t ended particularly well and so when Kate makes a decision that she will find someone she puts a lot of pressure on herself to make it happen. She goes on some really disastrous dates, to what I can only describe as a very chaotic speed dating experience and when she thinks she’s met the right person for her it transpires that isn’t the case. The story is also about Kate’s best friend Julia. From Kate’s perspective Julia is perfect and she’s everything that Kate isn’t. Julia is independent, outgoing and attracts men very easily but doesn’t take relationships seriously. But as Kate learns this is far from the truth. Julia is hiding a devastating secret and she acts strong to hide her true feelings. This is also the story of Ben who is Julia’s older brother. Ben, Julia and Kate have always been friends and have always spent a lot of time together. However Ben has always liked Kate more than just a friend but he’s never expressed how he feels about her and Kate has never seen him other than Julia’s brother and her friend. It was very clear from the outset that Ben really liked Kate not only because of some of the things he would say to her but the way he would Interact with her. He was always there for her, he’d always listen to her talk about men but it must have been so torturous.
Although this is a story about Kate finding the love of her life this is also a story about friendship and relationships. Kate and Julia have such a lovely friendship that starts to suffer when Kate starts to push herself into online dating which means that they start spending little time together but at the same time Julia’s hiding something from Kate. But that secret can only be hidden for so long until Julia eventually cracks and explains how she’s feeling. It takes them to have a very honest conversation with each other for them to realise that although they’ve drifted apart they’re still a big part of each others lives and they reconnect again very quickly.
A story about friendships and finding love where you least expect it.
A huge thank you to the author, publishers and netgalley for allowing me a review copy of what is now one of my favourite books of the year!
Kate is in her forties and after a drunken new years eve night ends in everyone seeing an embarrassing photo of her, she vows to change. This new year she wants to find someone. Someone to kiss at the end of it. With the help of her best friend Julie she begins to navigate the world of online dating, telling herself all the dates will be worth it, when she finds that special one.
Although I'm not yet in my forties, I am a single lady still waiting for my Mr Right, so I connected so much to Kate, and her search to find that special someone. All of the characters in this were written amazingly and I loved them all. I definitely had a crush on the sweet and shy Ben, and I'm so, so happy with how his story played out. Julie's story had a darker tone, but I felt for her throughout the book so much.
If you are a fan of romance novels, or rom-com movies I think you will love this one. I really liked that the characters were in their forties and I think it was refreshing to read a story where love isn't instant or easy.
I found this one hard to put down and like I said it's officially one of my favourite reads of the year, so I hope other readers discover this and love it too.
Trigger warning : brief mention of rape. Just in case that's an issue. Plus some swearing.
Kate is 43 and happily single but on New Years Eve surrounded by happy couples and after a few too many shots she decides this Is her year to find "someone to kiss" for next New Years Eve. Though the premise of the book is to find someone to kiss there isn't much romance. Kates best friend Julie has a few chapters and to me they didn't add anything to the storyline. Though I would have loved to get more chapters from Julies brother Ben who rounds out their little trio. Its pretty easy to pin down who Kate ends up with and I really wish I didn't take until 96% into the book for her to have her 〰 Aha moment. 〰 This book was pretty funny if you've ever tried online dating you can definitely relate to some of the horrors Kate deals with. But like I said I would have loved for Kate to realize her feelings at like the 50% mark and gotten more of the romance stuff than the same ol bad date after bad date for the whole book. Kate did grow a lot throughout the book and learned how to say no and stick up for herself and overall just became more comfortable in her own skin. I think this book had a lot of potential but it was just not my cup of tea.
Thank you to NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
MY THOUGHTS: I love the premise of this book. A single woman in her 40’s, trying to navigate the modern world of dating. As a woman in my 40’s, the thought of embracing the dating scene fills me with nothing less than complete horror, but equally intruiges me. Kate’s journey to find love, is eventful and a bit of a roller coaster ride. I liked Kate and her group of friends. They were realistic and believable. I liked the multiple points of view. They gave the book depth and brought a range of emotion to the story. SomeoneTokiss is a tale of self discovery. It covers a range of topics, that will touch many readers. I enjoyed the writing style in this book. I was drawn into the story very quickly and eagerly kept turning those pages until the end. This is a lovely read. Funny, sweet, touching and intuitive, with a healthy dollop of romance thrown in. I’m looking forward to reading more from jamie Anderson. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
With thanks to Rachel’s Random Resources for a digital arc of this title.
A sweet story, with a rather predictable formula, but still very enjoyable. Whilst there was nothing truly innovative, it was well written with likeable characters and it left me with a happy feeling.
Kate wakes up after New Year's Eve with a massive hangover, a dubious photo, and a napkin where she has vowed to wake up the following year with someone to kiss! Her best friend Julie offers to support her, and helps her to create an online dating presence, whilst Julie's brother Ben watches over the two girls to ensure they are alright. Julie gives the appearance of being always fun, incredibly beautiful and sailing through life too easily, but is hiding a secret. Ben has been through troubles of his own but has arrived in a good place. All three are hoping for different things by the following New Year's Eve, and all want to find their own happiness.
A sweet, quirky story, with a high feel good factor.
This book was not what I expected, but I really enjoyed it. The main character, Kate, is a single woman in her forties. On New Year’s Eve, she drinks too much and pledges to find “somebody to kiss” by next year’s NYE. The book has several flashbacks for a few of the characters, which helps you to understand their actions and their mental health challenges. I enjoyed Kate’s journey as she explored online data, speed dating, friendships, and love (I mean, it is a romance novel). I appreciated that the author looked at mental health disorders is a mature and positive manner. In addition, not only did Kate grow in respect to her relationships, but she also learned to stand up for herself in her professional life. My only critique would be the way the different points of view were written. I enjoy books with different POV, but the chapters were randomly assigned. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the chapters had equally alternated between the three main characters.
Thank you to NetGalley and BookGoSocial for the free copy in return for an honest review.
The story opens with a very drunk Kate on New Year's Eve, she then realize that all she wanted was someone to kiss, she doesn't want to be alone anymore. She pledge to herself that the next year would be the one, she'll have someone to kiss.
This book, I liked it, a lot. The characters are well built the story goes smoothly, it's very well written. It was fun and at the same time it had some meaningful things in it as well.
At first I didn't really like Kate, but throughout the story she grows into this woman, she finally believes in herself and admits her wrongs. I still think that she is a bit self centered and treated her friends not so greatly, but I know she'll do better. I also liked that there were the bff's povs here and there.
Now the question is, will she find someone to kiss at midnight?
A new years' resolution that you actually stick to!? Is there such a thing? Kate, our FMC thinks she can do exactly this. The story begins on NYE, Kate is drunk, so so very drunk. Kate is single, she's 40, and has nobody to kiss a happy new year to. This time next NYE she vows that she will have her own somebody to kiss. And so begins her mission.
This book is mostly fun, especially the dating scenes. But partly quite sad and touches on loneliness. Kates' best friend Julie comes into her own in the second half and I think she added an interesting outlook. I think this was done well, although being a 40 year old woman myself, did find Kate a tinsy bit young in her mindset. I did keep forgetting that she wasn't a girl in her 20s.
A great start to what could develop into a duo? Would like to hear Julies' story :-)
What a delightful story! This is a story about Kate who makes a promise to herself to find Mr. Right after an embarrassing episode at a New Year’s Eve wedding. She then spends the subsequent months trying online dating and learning a lot about herself along the way.
This was really well written and is a refreshing take on the story of finding Mr. Right. It was great to see characters in their 40s who were still trying to figure out what made them happy; I really connected with them. I also loved that I sometimes got Julie’s and Ben’s points of view as the story progressed. The author did an excellent job of portraying the ups and downs of finding love and I really felt like I was on the journey with Kate experiencing all her high and low moments.
Overall this was a really fun read and I can’t wait to read Julie’s story next because I am so invested in seeing how she progresses following all her life changes towards the end of the book.
Thank you NetGalley, the author and publisher for this ARC - this review is my own.
Wow! I did not expect the heaviness I felt when reading this book. I went into it thinking it was going to be a fun rom-com, only to come out on the other. This book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions.
"You're one of those sad women who would do anything for a guy. A woman who doesn't have any opinions of her own. You want men to like you so much that you turn yourself into an extension of them"
I rated this book the way I did because I found it hard to connect with the main female character. This quote pretty much summed everything up about the main character. She is well into her 40s, which I appreciated as a different perspective from other books, but couldn’t see her maturity reflected. She has never married or had kids, which is something I support in strong women who don’t rely on a society that imposes a checklist mindset on how to go through life. However, with Kate, I couldn’t connect with her reckless decisions and lack of maturity in many situations.
This is not a sweep-me-up romance. It explores the concept of online dating and many failed attempts at finding Mr. Right. I actually chuckled at some of the crazy stuff in the online dating world. It was predictable and wished the romance didn’t take all the way to the end of the book, “literally” at like 98% for it to happen.
I do appreciate the light the author tries to bring into this book on discussing heavy topics such as mental illnesses and how that impacts the lives of everyone it surrounds, especially in male situations which are often overseen. Ben was the grounding factor in this book and truly appreciated his dedication to taking care of his sister and Kate when they put themselves in reckless situations such as excessive drinking in bars. There are also mentions of alcoholism and rape so trigger warnings to readers.
Thank you, NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Someone to kiss by Jamie Anderson Earc Publisher:Booksgosoical Publication Date: 23rd September 2022 Genre: Romance /Women's Fiction This is not your typical romance story. Kate is 41 year old single women who's now sick of been single and has started to use online dating to find love. Kate has went through the rigmarole of shit dates whislt dating online it's given her another jaded view of men only wanting one thing.
I did find the multi point of views disconnected within this book and it didn't flow well.
It was pretty obvious ending for me I knew the end at the start of the book.
Overall a very easy read. Thank you BookGoSocial and NetGalley for the ARC!

Someone to Kiss is a fun story of a woman in her 40s who decides to try her hand at dating to find someone to kiss on next new year's eve. Kate and her friends attend speed dating, try out online dating, and eventually work on themselves. As the book went on, I got a little frustrated that Kate didn't have more confidence in herself, so I didn't love it, but the story is fun and worth picking up.
“Someone To Kiss” was a fun, light-hearted romance that truly highlights the many horrors and pitfalls of modern online dating. Although it is Kate’s story, with her unfortunate dating experiences sprinkled throughout, it was nice to have the perspectives of those around her. I enjoyed watching her cohorts grow along side Kate as the story progressed. Worth the read if you’re looking for a little love in your life!
Haha well where do I start. I think that it’s so relatable for me age wise, cats, Netflix etc it’s why I just had to choose it. Did not disappoint, it was a cute read. Had me chuckling in places too. Also well done on the mental illness side. Handled so well. Really enjoyable
I really enjoyed this book! I am a sucker for when the boy falls first and has loved her for a long time, she just needs to realize it. I am looking forward to reading a follow up about Julie. Overall, this book was very enjoyable.
This was such a cute read. It was easy to follow and I loved the characters. I read it in a couple of days. I highly recommend and can't wait to read more by the author.
