Subtle Corvidity: and other raven-related verse

Rate this book
The archetype of the Raven is a significant feature in the Cordysian Chronicles, seen especially in symbolic references to Rhianyn and connected to prophecies related to the realm's apocalypse. These images and allusions are first mentioned with regards to Rhianyn's long dark hair (compared to a raven) and developed further in the seventh novel of the series, I Remember When the Raven Returned. Further background on this symbolic connection is offered in more detail through the point of view of Nyssina (Rhianyn's mother) in The War Mage's Diary.

Subtle Corvidity offers a revisit of many of the "raven-related" verse from the series, plus introducing a "murder" of newly-written poems, previously unreleased.

Indeed... the Raven has returned!
