I read these in an omnibus but didn’t take the time to try and search for that on goodreads. The first part was ok. I feel like the energy of the show wasn’t as seamlessly translated to graphic novel format as I’d have liked. I don’t know how to explain it. It was like Lower Decks lite.
I thought the second book was a little better, more depth of the story which was nice. I thought the third book really brought it together pretty well, which I wasn’t expecting.
Dracula saves the Captain and away team. No one loses blood to a vampire. Mariner doesn't get the point and lesson. The artwork is phenomenal and the writing is great.
I know it's a Star Trek comic nonetheless I think it bears mentioning that that was the most Star Trekian of takes on the Dracula mythos. Ever. Lots of fun!
