Jason had stayed when Allara had beaten his friend and become Alpha of the pack, but he still didnt feel trusted. He felt like he was living on the fringes of his family. When he et Tammy, things changed for him. How would she react to his secrets? Would the fact that they are so different stop them from going after what they both want? Loved it! <3

This was a good read though I had a hard time getting into the FMC. She has some serious self-esteem issues and lacks self-confidence. That is a hard read for me but I am glad I kept reading.

While she never really seems to gain either she does fall in love and that seems to help her some.

It is a sweet story of two separate worlds colliding with heart wrenching then heart felt results.

These stories feel like a second rate shifter novel missing all the elements that fill out a story. There is no tension or rising plot and no fulfilling character arches. The romance is half baked and we never get any on page chemistry between our two love interests. It was highly underwhelming.

Mick and Penny were gossiping in the front seat about Allara running off with a guy so suddenly. They were driving so far into the sticks that even the GPS had no signal. Allara had invited them to her bonding ceremony and they were relying on a map she marked for them. There was no way to call someone if they got lost. Tammy was glad to be away from the city and her cheating boyfriend. But Allara’s home town is odd, the people not what they seem to be. Everybody seemed to be staring at them when they arrived. But a deep breath of the forest air seems to provide a calmness she hadn’t felt in many weeks. They will find out most of the townspeople are wolf shifters. And as they take seats in the social hall, Tammy is very aware of a hot man’s eyes catching hers and melting her with a glance.

The ceremony was beautiful, Allara and Reid looking at each other with adoration. His eyes said she was precious and irreplaceable to him. Jason, too, was affected by the love shining from the new Alpha pair. When would Jason find his own mate? He had waited for her for what felt like forever. And when he sees Allara’s best friend, his wolf goes crazy gazing at his mate! But she is human. Can he convince her they were made for each other? And his loyalty and faithfulness to her alone is exactly what she has been longing for?

So we get Jason's story with this book. So you remember Jason who was Jaime's beta. Well now since Jaime is no longer part of the pack he seems to feel a little lost. I feel like we should have gotten more of an idea of how he felt while being Jamie's beta. However, when Allara and Reid had their bonding ceremony, he saw a woman that his eyes gravitated to. Tammy who is a simple human. She had no idea that Allara is a wolf until that night. She seems to be drawn to Jason too. She tries not to show interest in him as he does the same. Just wants to talk to her to get to know her. They both sense a pull and then they touch. That electricity that zips through them means something. Only Tammy has no clue. Tammy has her hang ups with men and she doesn't trust easily. I don't blame her but she is a lot stronger than to let the past pull her down right. Can Jason show her? Will he come to his senses and realize she is his other half even though she is human? You will learn a lot about these two and maybe catch a tear every now and then. Will they get a happy ending? Tammy travels to a secluded town to celebrate the wedding of her dear friend. Although not excited about the trip or pretending to be believe in true love, she tries to quietly fly under the radar. After all, she doesn’t think anyone could fall in love with her. She quickly draws the attention of Jason, a cranky town resident who is way too hot to have such a bad attitude.

Their first interactions are not positive, but something powerful is growing between them. After a long reception, Tammy gets her friends loaded to head back home but can’t find her purse. Searching gets Tammy into deep trouble with the town shifters and Jason has to step in. A quick, hot romance blooms.

But these two lovers have issues to work out, so the have to fight to find each other and a life of love together. This story ensures a roller coaster of emotions and a happily ever after to sweeten a story where even “flawed” people find their true love.

I’m really enjoying reading this series. Each of the books can be read individually, but the characters are all integrated into the story. Tammy, who worked in the bar with Allara, has come to Reid’s and Allara’s bonding ceremony. She has no idea that they are wolf shifters until she stumbles on a private race they were all participating in after the three humans left the wedding. She is hiding in the woods when she is set upon by a wolf shifter.

Jason who had felt an attraction towards Tammy, saved her and then realised that they were fated mates. The two of them start a relationship, but Jason’s ex fling has shown up and works her evil influence on Tammy, convincing her that she won’t be good enough for Jason. She leaves and goes back to the city. Jason is devastated. Will they have their happily ever after? You will have to buy the book and discover how it ends.

Fun setup with them meeting at a bonding ceremony. Love soulmate connections and shifters! Tammy and a couple of Allara’s (female lead from the first book) other friends/co-workers take a trip to Allara’s small town for her bonding ceremony. They all don’t know that they are going to be surrounded by wolf shifters. Tammy is definitely in for a shock; especially when wolf shifter Jason takes an interest in her. I was really enjoying this up until about 70 percent, but then lots of low self-esteem and bad decisions started making me dislike Tammy. I was liking both her and Jason, and really enjoyed their sweet, passionate romance. Unfortunately, Tammy started annoying me too much; especially when she was going to keep a big secret from Jason, she really needed to make more effort. She was too weak; Jason deserved better. I’m going to go with a 3 star rating; the story was interesting, but I was let down in the end.

Tammy attends a friend's bonding ceremony and encounters sexy hunk Jason.
Tammy heads out of the city with friends Penny and Mike to attend the bonding ceremony of their friend Allara. As she is waiting for the ceremony to start her eyes lock with a sexy hunk the other side of aisle and she feels something. After the ceremony he comes and sits next to her and they talk finding they share many feeling in their lives. Later she goes to take her two drunk companions back to the city but finds she has left her purse so heads back to find it only to spot some mysterious lights. She follows them and sees what appears to be the start of a race but then watches as some shimmer into wolves but as she turns back a wolf jumps at her.

I really recommend reading the 1st book in this series so that you don’t have to catch up to the storyline. You’ll still fall in love with the book, and then want to read the 1st one anyways, so just save yourself the trouble lol. Now for the book....whyyy can we not give more than 5 stars lol. Tammy and Jason definitely deserve way more stars, believe me. The storyline flows so good and is so well written, with a town that makes you wanna move there right now, along with characters that just pull you right into the story. Wonderful range of emotions, with just enough drama and depth so that you’re completely entertained throughout. Can’t wait for more in this series!

In this second book of the series Allara is the now the Alpha and about to have a bonding ceremony with Dean. The defeated and cast out Alpha Jaime’s Beta, Jason was allowed to stay. Tammy and Allara’s other two friends from the city came to the compound to see the bonding ceremony. When Jason and Tammy saw each other something passed between them but when they touched after a life threatening altercation in the forest, it was positively electrifying. The fun and exciting romance of this wolf shifter and human woman has them fighting doubts, past histories, danger, and each other before they find their HEA. Good read

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Love of a Wolf by Amelia Shaw is the second book in her Pack Loyalty series. I did not read book one and I was a little disoriented when I began the read. It did not take me long to catch up. I really enjoyed the story and thought Jason and Tammy had great emotional strength. I loved the colorfully descriptive village and could picture it clearly in my mind. The demeanor of the people and their simple way of life was totally appealing to me. I really am looking forward to the next book.

I would recommend that you read book one in the series first as there are quite a few cross over characters including Jason the star of this book

Tammy is friends with Allara (see the first book) and she has come with her to be part of her bonding ceremony to Reid While she is there she feels a draw to on of the other guest Jason he also feels the draw They want to get to know one another but at the same time they want to take it slow That is until Jason touches Tammy for the first time now he knows she is his mate but Tammy is a human will she be able to handle his other side You will have to read to see

A quick read that is entertaining, heartwarming with some uncertainties thrown in. Tammy is human and Jason is a shifter, but their connection is undeniable. Will Tammy let go of her past insecurities and trust that Jason will be true and not cast her aside as her ex had done. Good storyline and wonderful characters. I hope we get another glimpse into their lives in the next book in this series. I felt like it ended too abruptly and wanted more. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Love of the Wolf is a good romance with the twist of a human woman meeting a great man and finding out about wolf shifters at a wedding. I enjoyed the reaction of the children to meeting their first human and the questions that they asked, almost as if she was an alien. The normal concerns of being a large woman surrounded by fit wolf shifters impact Tammy and her disbelief that one of them would be serious about her. Nicely done and well written.

An enjoyable read. The story flows well, and it will keep you interested to see what happens next with Jason and Tammy. Jason is a wolf shifter and when he see Tammy for the first time he is drawn to her. When he finds out she is a human he wants to stay away but there is just one problem, she is his fated mated. He shouldn't feel this way she is human. What will happen when she finds out he is a wolf shifter? This is the second book in this Pack Loyalty series. I am looking forward to read more.

Lovely story.
I love shifter stories so this was perfect so much that I read it in one go. Tammy & Jason's story was so sweet that I didn't want it to end although at one point Tammy's insecurites about being human & not good enough for wolf shifter Jason by Naomi who wanted him for herself. I'm so glad her friend Allara could see how much they loved each other & were fated mates from the minute they met.

This well written Book 2 in the Pack Loyalty Book Series was an interesting Wolf shifter, Second Chance at Love, curvy girl Story with very well-thought out scenes and storyline. These characters have very strong wills and personalities and their interactions are realistic. This intriguing story has the following: intrigue, twists, turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a well-paced, wolf shifter book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. A must read

Tammy had a really bad breakup and had no confidence in her feelings or thoughts. Her and her friends went to a mutual friend’s bonding ceremony and lost her purse. Ended where she probably shouldn’t have and saw the wolves and her friend was the alpha. When Jason touched her they felt the mate bond but having problems with accepting the way they felt for each other but she did realize that they were meant to be together. Great book!

This was such a sweet and beautiful love story that makes you feel happy and content as you read it. Tammy and Jason had a few things to over-come..sure they could have been worked out more in depth, but the plot moves along so nicely and the couple feels so bound together, that you can quickly over-look those small issues and simply keep reading.

I wonder if there will be a third book out...and who that couple could possibly be.... One thing is for sure - I'm keeping my eye on this series!

Tammy goes with some friends to their friends wedding deep off the beaten path. At the wedding she meets Jason from the very first they seem to be drawn to each other. But how does Jason tell her he is a wolf shifter. This is a great story that I hope you enjoy as much as I did. I look forward to more from the author.
