I really like the characters.

This was quite good! I did miss a bit, not having read the first few books in the series and especially lost when it came to Rob and Sarabeth saving Landon, but I did really like this one! I'm so curious about what happened to make the team have to change their names and "die" but maybe it'll get answered in another...?
But the drama was good, the tension was good, every time there was some downtime, it got amped up which is nice. And Henry with Sarabeth was so cute, wanted a little more romance, even a decent kiss between Henry and Jessie, but w/e. Still a good story

Good Story
An 11 year old being used by her father looking for gold from a robbery in 1800’s. She ask for help from him because she told him he was mean.
She wants to protect her mother, who was kidnapped by her father and Sarabeth shoots him to save her mother.

People are crazy and sometimes their craziness leaves destruction in their path. Some new characters - with roots in this Wyoming town - enter the cast of characters. A generational Wild West hunt for gold keeps this small Wyoming town on its toes - if not the whole town at least a few Thompson brothers in arms.

Loved the intrigue and suspense in this continuation of the series. It kept me turning pages until the very end. Enjoyed Jessie and Henry's chemistry as well and that he kept his promise to keep them safe.

The Covert Cowboy Solider Series gets better with each book! I love the Thompson brothers and how all of the stories intertwine. Found family, grief, love. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Dunne and Quinn!

It was great to catch up with the Thompson brothers. This time it was Henry's story and Jessie and Sarabeth were involved. It was a little comical watching Henry interact with Sarabeth but he aced it!
