He destroyed my world when he corrupted me in his bed. By all means, I'm supposed to hate him. But somewhere along the line, the monster who stole me ended up stealing my heart.
He promised me he would do anything to protect me. Anything to protect our baby growing in my belly.
To keep me close. And never let me go.
Corrupt Oath is a dark mafia arranged marriage romance & psychological suspense novel by bestselling author Brook Wilder. This is the final book of the Suvorov Bratva trilogy.
It is not a standalone and you'll need to read Book 1 and 2 - Dark Promise and Wicked Vows before reading.
This book contains scenes that may be disturbing to some readers.
Book 3 picks right up from book 2, Liya has made her mind up and there’s no changing it. She really made me dislike her even more than I did in book 2. She wants to reign by Pavel’s side, and wants to be treated equally and have him listen to her, but then takes absolutely no responsibility with the results of her decisions. Everything is Pavel’s fault. I really felt for this guy. Yeah he wasn’t the best in the very beginning when he made the deal with Jonas, but I felt he redeemed himself by the end of book 1 and book 2. Liya was just down right wrong with her actions and I was actually relieved when Pavel stopped trying to convince her of his feelings. All Liya thought about and cared about was herself. I enjoyed the series, it fits my favorite tropes and would recommend it, I just didn’t enjoy the heroine. But I loved the hero!
FIN.
A very impressed third & final addition to the “Suvorov Bratva” series & it is definitely a suspenseful somewhat darkish romance with good world building. The continuation of the storyline is excellent & flowed smoothly from the previous two books “Dark Promise: #1” & “Wicked vows: #2” into this book “Corrupt Oath” & I found the well-written plot filled with well-described intriguing & sometimes totally unexpected events. The characters are very interesting & are portrayed as unique individuals with complex personalities that are realistic flawed to a certain extent. The secondary characters offer good support throughout the storyline. There is: a domineering man, Pavel Sergeyevich , his somewhat unwilling wife, Liya, various kinds of bratva/mafia crime syndicates, villainous villains, ultimatums, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, deceit, betrayal, danger, violence, confrontations, conflict, secrets, disagreements, vengeance, complications, heartache, disagreements, emotional turmoil, apologies, compromises, love, some steamy scenes & a well-deserved, hard-earned satisfying conclusion.
I really wanted to like this series but my God it just dragged on and on. What a mess of back and forth and will they or won't they. There was no character development and then it just ended with them both changing their minds on everything they had said for the whole series.
I hated Zoya's storyline and it felt like the author put it in to be edgy and it just was awful to read. What a tragic waste of such a unique character. I thought for sure she would get a spin off series and instead she was graphically raped and then murdered just so the main characters could name their baby after her.
No dog.

Corrupted Oath (Suvorov Bratva Book #3) by Brook Wilder picks up right from book 2 in this dark mafia trilogy. So much drama, angst, danger, murder, violence, mystery, secrets, emotional stress, war with plenty of dark passion/ lust and love which will intrigue you from beginning to end.
With all of the bloodshed and hostility Pavel is now facing with the Bratva and crime syndicates, he also has to deal with the decisions Liya continues to make. Liya is still stubborn, annoying and willful as she does what she wants regardless of the consequences or effects her actions will cause. Through much of this story you end up feeling sorry for this domineering man and start to dislike Liya's behavior which leads Pavil to stop trying to express to her what she means to him. Will Liya ever learn and come to terms that she truly loves Pavel? Conflict, suspense, death and dangerous moments surrounds this couple once again in this fast paced story as decisions will have to be made in order for Pavel and Liya to be safe. Now hearts will be broken, love will be lost as sacrifices will have to be made to avoid their deaths by running away even though Pavel still has a fight on his hands. Will Liya in order to protect her child end up betraying her husband? Will Pavel be able to protect his family or will he lose it all? Can love win out in the end? Corrupted Oath is a must read, you will not be disappointed!!
This 3rd book in the Suvorov Bratva series brings everything full circle for Pavel & Liya. There is so much in this storyline your head might be spinning by the end but it is worth the dizziness! These two have been fighting their need for power and control from the very beginning but now when they are thrown back into the war and lives are again in danger they must figure their differences out or all could be lost! There are some intense scenes in this book and be prepared for several unexpected events to unfold along the way. Their story has hooked us since book 1 so it’s no surprise that this book captured all the emotions, love, sacrifice, grief, lust, desire, and devotion that is embedded within Pavel & Liya finally figuring it all out. You will enjoy their story and their HEA was worth the wait! Happy Reading!!!
This has got to be one of the best series I have read. It didn't just have me so enthralled, that I couldn't put it down. But, it kept me wanting to know more. Late night hours, daytime reading, on the job, mind you.. Did I mention the best sex ever? I swear I want to have so much shower sex, it ain't funny.. I'm always loving the HEA. This one touched my heart so much. Brook Wilder didn't disappoint. Hurry.. grab your copy now..
This is book three in the Suvorov Bratva series so please be sure to read books one and two before reading this book. I have to say that Liya seems very selfish throughout this series and it seems Pavel had to make all the apologies and scarifices, which I don't think is completely fair. Other than that I truly enjoyed the series and was quite satisfied with the ending.
Impressive book, this had strong character building. The marriage between Pavel and Liya almost crumbled completely. It was painful watching Liya fall apart with everything going on. Seeing Pavel had a human side to him was heartwarming. I definitely recommend this series. So unexpected, I couldnt put the book down until I found out what truly happened to Pavel and Liya.
It was ok. Not bad, not great. A lot of angst and insecurities. It seemed like the author was trying to let us see the depth of the characters but it came off as insincere and too hot and cold. Mad that some of the characters had to die off. Only the main characters got a happy ending.
Oh my! Very good series. Lot Liya went through. Paval shouldn't have had to give up everything. She should have at least worked with him. She had good ideas only if they worked together doing it. But all said I loved the books.
