Husband and wife and two children move into the home of their spacious, opulent, and refined, a sprawling two-story jewel. But hidden in the walls of their new Eden is a veritable fountain of sin and corruptibility. A small room is discovered by Dean, husband and father, and from this room he will watch and guide the evolution of his marriage, planting seeds of wickedness inside his beautiful and devoted wife, Carina.
How do we become addicted to things that we aren't supposed to enjoy? Once exposed to terrible depravities that invade our very souls, we become slaves to them. Some sights cannot be unseen. Some feelings cannot be unfelt. Salacious desires make their way into our heart.
Their dangerous game brings tension beyond compare. The night of the house warming party signals the official beginning of Dean's silent manipulations, and only picks up speed with each passing week. Dean knows he should stop, but cannot bring himself to do so, nor can he share with Carina the secrets he's discovered, secrets about himself, secrets about her, and secrets about their perfect home.
This book was all over the place. I’m not even sure what the author was trying to do. All kind of plot gaps and leaps.
Married couple buy a new house and the husband finds a hidden room equipped with monitors fed by hidden cameras showing the whole house.
He doesn’t tell his wife and then proceeds to provide her with opportunities to flirt and more with some past boyfriends. He of course watches and records her various dalliances.
He confides with his best friend. Said friend then quickly betrays him and seduces his wife. The author never allows the readers the satisfaction of seeing him confront the friend with the betrayal.
Somehow (plot leap) they end up in California where she is drugged and ganged while he watches on video.
The wife never knows he’s watched and videoed her. So not really a true hotwife story.
The book is not erotic or sensual at all. The sex scenes are kind of ho hum.
Another outrageous Hotwife plot from the mind of Matthew Lee.
Dean and Carina move into their dream home with their 2 young kids. The house was previously owned by a multi-millionaire and his very famous actress wife.
In the lead-up to their house warming party, Dean makes a discovery, which he chooses not to share with his wife, that opens up a world of voyeurism and wife-watching to him.
At first, he cannot understand the attraction of it all, and the desire of some men to be cuckolded, but the power to observe and manipulate is too strong.
He less than subtly enables his wife to flirt with men that she has a sexual attraction to, and so a daring game between them starts.
Throughout this, the Spector of the creator looms, drawing the couple deeper into his dark world of ultimate voyeurism.
I enjoyed it a lot but there were a couple of scenes where things happened and we're explained away too easily.
The end of the story was a little abrupt and there were three or four loose ends that needed to be wrapped up. Hopefully they'll be handled in a sequel, a related book or as a short story on medium.
Is this Matthew Lee’s finest lifestyle book? Brilliant plot. Beautiful characters! Sensational descriptive prose. Dean and Carina buy a new house. The new house unlocks secrets. Secrets for both Dean and Carina. A fantastic plot which I will not spoil here. Suffice to say the ending is surprising and beautiful. If you love the lifestyle this is a must read. Five white hot pulsing shooting stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was an interesting hot wife read. It had twists from both lead characters that you would not expect. Both the husband and wife played a dangerous game with each other. They took so many unbelievable risks. It was the angst and thrill that made the story good. I was glad that both husband and wife were participants. Read On!
This is one of those books that keep you up at night, page after page. What does one do when one can observe, but can’t hear the conversation? This plays a huge part in both of her dalliances with the old boyfriend. Initially I didn’t like this idea, but now I see the tension. It is a sweet agony - hanging between what you actually see and the fantasy of not knowing the words between them.
It gets sexier as the story evolves. Secrets are revealed that beg explanation, yet he can’t ask because he’d have to admit his voyeurism. He is helpless as he sees things that he never knew of her. The reader wonders what will happen next, and is never disappointed.
And the thing is - even her partners don’t know of his ability to see them! Each of them thinks he has got something behind the husband’s back. And each thinks (in his own way) that she can be a long-term partner - and each would be correct! I would love to see more of the husband’s interactions with these men after the fact. How will they treat him? How will he treat them?
My only “complaint” was how abruptly it ended. Regardless, there are issues to tie up, and new shenanigans that can follow this story. Who is the man that she fantasizes about? What about his other friends, now that he’s hooked on the lifestyle? And when the inevitable happens, and she goes to someone else’s house - then all the husband has now is imagination. How does he deal with that?
The last tryst between the wife and the boyfriend is HOT, in the lead up and in the act. His reaction when he gets home is hotter. One can say that the train has definitely left the station!
The thing is, there could be one or more sequels to this story. I understand, Mr. Lee, that leaving issues unresolved creates part of the fantasy for the reader. Please, PLEASE revisit this story with a sequel!
