Not impressed. Standard serial romance, everything by the book. I might have speed reading but by the time I realized it wasn't getting better I was already halfway through and these Harlequins are so short... 🤷🏻♀️
I picked this one up cheap because I love baby books. I was less than thrilled to discover it had a strong horse theme as well. I'm just not a fan. Also both main characters annoyed me. I get it, you're attracted to each other (but we mustn't! 🙄) but why? They weren't bad people or anything, but if you can't make the reader at least fall in like with them, how are we supposed to care of the two fall in love?
Also, I signed on for a baby. Why did he spend 90% of the book with a nanny? You know, the cute thing on the cover? Can I complain about the title too? Nobody inherited anything! Literally! (Her ex left her nothing)
