A revolutionary dark take on Spider-Man begins here! What is reality and what is dream? What is science and what is magic? At the intersection of all of this stands the Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Peter Parker goes to Los Angeles and what he finds there are definitely not angels. The demons waiting for Peter are going to test him like never before. One demon in particular, a very famous one for Marvel and X-fans in particular, might just eat Spider-Man alive.

(2.5) It was okay. Like the beginning of Peter monolouge about not doing enough was great, that fibbonacci panel after talking about the fibbonachi sequence WAS AMAZING! But the rest was okay. Like I feel like peter doesn’t talk this much to the audience ever and it just seemed out of place. Some pages felt like they were missing panels or just weren’t dropping you into the scene well enough. The art was cool just the rest felt meh

Maybe 2.5. If you’re gonna do a darker spider-man take then do something similar to superior spider-man, not this. The writing is actually painful to read. The only saving grace of this issue was the amazing artwork.
This is actually a graphic novel from my fiancé collection. He loves them, and has always wanted me to read one, so I did. Spider-man aka Peter Parker goes to Los Angeles where there are demons waiting for him. One of the demons, which is a very common one, wants to eat Peter Parker. But you will have to read to find out who. I would recommend this to any Spider-man fan. I would use this in my classroom as a fun book for students to read. I personally do not like graphic novels, so it was not that interesting to me.
Features the most inspired artwork coming out of a Spider-Man title in quite some time! Story is interesting enough, however some of the dialogue and spidey "quips" here are just awful. Overall I liked it, willing to read more.
Not a fan of the writer shitting on Gen Zers but seems like a solid story idea. Ol man Spidey feels like he's not as good as he should be and turns to science instead, finds a (cool?) rock and has some crazy hallucinations (or is it real life?) The art is phenomenal.
This is really weird for a Spider-man comic but i am liking the dreamlike horror for this character. Maybe this will be more on the esoteric side of Marvel, cant wait to see what comes next
