I am a prisoner. Taken by monsters who crave my death. If I want to see my mates again, I have to stay alive.
I was just settling into my new life with my mates when I was taken. Robbed of my magic, ripped from the men I’m beginning to love, and imprisoned by their mortal enemies. They want to use me. For my power. For my blood and my bones. For my connection to the Alpha Kings they hate. But more than anything, they want to see me die. These Alphas are nothing like mine. They thrive on pain and feast on suffering. One wrong move, and they’ll decide that I’m not worth the trade they desire. My mates will come for me, and I’ll fight like hell to get back to them. But it all might be too late. After all, to these enemies, the best thing a witch can do is burn.

Speechless. The story sucked me in and rolled over me in a wash of powerful images and tense action. I cracked open the covers of this book and couldn’t put it down until it was over. And when it was over? I wasn’t ready for it to end. We’ve learned so much about Cora, her kings, their curse, and so many other things. And with each new piece of information we unravel, even more questions come to the surface. That ending has left me breathless and desperate to know what happens next.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

CLIFFHANGER!!!

Spice: 2/5 - not much in this book

Oh Devyn, I feel on first name basis after you OBLITERATED me with that ending. Can we discuss your therapy sessions openly? You must have extreme trauma that you feel is necessary to pass to your readers. This series so far has been a roller coaster. I do wish we could see more of her friends, or supporting characters that we routinely interact with.

This book takes place after the events of book one and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen.

I wasn’t sure what affected me more, the cruel place and alphas where our FMC was taken to or seeing how much her mates loved and missed her. There were a lot of ups and downs, and I feel like we are starting to learn even more.

After that ending I can’t wait for book 3.

Just wow. Cora is being held by her mates enemies and things are seriously wrong with this place, but she does meet some amazing women there.
There is alot of action, suspense and just plain hotness in this book. I really enjoyed this one. I can't wait to see what happens next. And Cora's best friends? Love them so much

This story picks up where book 1 left off, with Cora having been kidnapped and the men/wolves searching for her. Cora goes through a lot in this story, and I really felt for her. There were some awful moments, both things done to her and ones she was forced to witness, and you really felt her emotions.
So much happens in this book, and I don't want to say anymore and spoil it, but there is still so much more to come! I can't wait to read the next one.

When all is going well for Cora and her mates, her life is turned upside down again when she’s taken by the enemy. Can her mates get to her in time?

Moon Entrapped is much darker, but just as good as the first. The ending is a hell of a twist and I can’t wait for the next book.

Amazing book 2, while incredibly heart-wrenching. Poor character's cannot catch a break. The dedication these character's have to each other is beautiful, as is the fight against evil.

Just as Cora was getting used to the supernatural and her three werewolf mates (who happen to be kings of the supernatural world) her world is turned upside down again when she is taken by their enemies, the Amadan, a pack ruled by three alphas who will stop at nothing to gain power. Moon Entrapped is the thrilling sequel to Moon Enchanted, Devyn has really amped up the drama in this one.

Oh, this story is more complicated than I ever realized. Cora is in the hands of her enemy, deep in their lair, and what she finds is frightening. Balor, Dain, and Morian are the alphas of the Amadan and they are true monsters, really there is no other way to describe them. They subjugate women, they are basically servants, clean, cooking serving the men all the while wearing a uniform of a plain black dress, barefoot (so it's hard to escape), and praying not to be noticed for any reason. Then men see women as less than property, they aren't even allowed to shift and are counted at night, how messed up is that? The worst part isn't the emotional and physical abuse but the fact that the Alphas are so cruel to all the women and take their liberties with the mated pairs. That's right that rape mated females because it's their right as alpha (some bs they made up) to spread their seed or some messed up reason. I gotta give it to Devyn she knows how to write a bad guy, it's not light stuff either, she shows the worst in people able to convey horrific situations no matter how hard they may be.

Cora survives a lot at their hand, it was enough, and while she put on a brave face and had pushed back some of their horrors overcame her. I don't blame her in the slightest, the alphas were beyond cruel and it would have broken anyone. What I liked most about this was that Cora didn't let what the men in the pack did affect how she thought or felt about the women in the pack. She was nice to them and they were kind to her, they tried to make things easier for her, and she tried to stick up for them. In that misery they formed a bond and Cora made plenty of friends some of whom paid greatly for that friendship but were valued.

The kidnapping put a lot of things in perspective for Cora and her mates. The guys already fell for Cora by the end of the first book but reading from their point-of-views after she's was taken emphasized how much they loved her. A wolf's caring and protective nature over their mate is strong, the bond is unbreakable when formed and while the guys didn't form that bond with Cora yet, they are still her mates and those aspects shine through in this book. The love they have for her grows more and more the longer she was away. As for how the kidnapping affected Cora when it came to her relationships, it finally gave her a reason to take a real look at the supernatural world she's found herself in and what they guys truly mean to her. I think she would've waffled when it came to figuring out her feelings but being placed in grave danger as she was, she was forced to take a deeper look at everything and came to a few realizations.

As I said earlier this story is complicated, Cora learns of a few things from being with the Amadan and from the visions of the past she keeps getting and what she finds out is quite surprising. The history of the Amadan, Brenan (the guys' pack), and the witches are explained and it was a totally blow-away. Things are tied together that the guys never knew about and it explains a few things like the reason behind some of the Amadan's actions, how the relationship between witches and werewolves work, and what else might be in store.

Moon Entrapped was absolutely fabulous, filled with angst alphas, curses, monsters, torture, magic, and so much love. If you love that angsty separation between lovers and a girl who is willing to survive no matter what then this is your read. This story kept me riveted to the jaw-dropping end that had a shocking revelation and a jaw-dropping plot twist. Cora's and the guys' story wrap up in the third and final book, Moon Exalted. Thank gods for the wrapped release I can't wait to see how the story wraps up.

Break my bones

Wolf Entrapped, the second installment in the Shifters' Curse series dipped its toes and ventures into darker water this time around. I wouldn't say that this is an extremely dark book, but there are some triggers that you should be made aware of before reading. There are instances of assault, torture, and rape (rape is not to the fmc and not gone into any kind of detail). Even then, I wouldn't say that any of these actions are on the extreme end of abuse and aren't as graphic in detail as some other books that I have read. I hope that these topics will not deter you from reading, as the story is incredible and these moments of darkness seemed necessary on Cora's journey.

Devyn Sinclair did an amazing job with this book. I don't think there was ever a dull moment from the beginning to the final page. From being captured to finally bonding with her mates, Cora is just going nonstop. You really get to see how strong of a character she actually is even if she doesn't always appear that way. In dangerous instances such as being held hostage and tortured, the body may give out but the mind is what will keep someone going. Cora's anger, love and desperation for her mates, and desire to help those who are suffering drive her to keep going even when it would be easier to just give in.

While Cora is being held hostage by the Amadán pack, you can really see the vast differences between the Amadán pack and the Brenin pack. It's pretty obvious that the three alphas of the Amadán pack, even though they call themselves kings, are definitely not meant to rule. There's a huge difference between ruling with fear and pain vs ruling with kindness and respect to those who you rule. The Amadán pack segregates their people by gender, oppressing the women and abusing them (sexually and physically) whenever they deem necessary. In turn, most of the men in the pack follow their ways and beliefs. Monkey see, monkey do, otherwise there'd probably be punishment for going against what the alphas want.

Cora's visions of the past play a pretty huge part in this book and I think they will become ever more important in the final book as well. The past, it seems, is a key to the present. It reveals so much and most of the time we learn from the past, looking at previously made mistakes and learning from them to make sure that we do not make them again. We do not want the negatives of the past to repeat. Cora's visions, however, allow her to go beyond just trying to prevent the past from happening again. They help her to fully grasp the reasoning behind some of the hatred of the réalta witches. Not just by the certain witches but also the main driving force of Balor's hatred as well. Unknown to the enemies, their weaknesses are being discovered bit by bit, enabling them to possibly be manipulated later on. I cannot wait to see their downfall in the final book of this trilogy

Moon Entrapped is the second book in Devyn Sinclair’s Shifter’s Curse series. Book two is really dark, so make sure you check the trigger warnings before you dive into this book. Moon Entrapped picks up where book one left off, and it looks like the characters are in for some serious pain before things can even start to get better.
Cora has been abducted, and now she’s at the mercy of the wolves who made multiple attempts at killing her. They are still intent on taking her life, but for now, they have more twisted plans for her. Cora’s strenght and resolve is really going to be tested in this book, as well as the strength and resolve of her men. This story continues with the alternating chapters between Cora and her men, but as to be expected, it focuses heavily on Cora.
I have to admit that I like this book more than I liked the first one. Things in this book are grittier, and the author really shows how Cora grows as a character. In book one, she was really whiny and always wanting to get an attitude like a brat because the guys couldn’t (not wouldn’t) tell her things she felt she was entitled to know. In this book, she finds herself in a really bad situation, but she sees that things are hard for the females of the other pack. It really helps her put things in perspective and appreciate her men more. My heart breaks, not just for her, but for the other females in this book. It’s not easy knowing what they have been subjected to for years, while Cora only deals with it for weeks.
This book is really engaging and kept me page-turning to find out what was going to happen next. How were the guys going to free Cora? How were they going to deal with the evil wolves looking to take the title and power of Kings? The author does an excellent job of pulling you and keeping you engaged in the story as things really get intense.
I truly enjoyed this book and so for me, it deserves 5 out of 5 stars. It’s not a book for everyone, but for those who can handle the darkness, then this book will pull you in and keep you coming back for more. I’m eager to find out what happens next.

Moon Entrapped is the exciting sequel to Devyn Sinclair's Shifter's Curse series. It picks up pretty much where book 1 leaves off and it is a rollercoaster of a read the whole time. I will say this book is a lot darker than its predecessor, as it shows the differences between the Brenin pack (Cora's mates) and the Amadan pack. The Amadan "kings" do not show any respect to women and reduce them to nothing- they treat them like objects and take what they want. There are themes of torture in this book and rape is talked about though it never is applied to the FMC or described at all ( more about questioning the consensuality rather than the act).

Cora has been taken from her mates by the rival pack where she is drained, poked, and prodded all in the name of science. She is being held prisoner and will only be released if her mates, the Brenin kings, will give up their kingships. Will Cora be able to access her gifts and escape, will her mates be able to find her in time, and what will happen to the whole world (literally) if they do give up their reign?

This book is a major page-turner. You really do feel for Cora and the other women in this book. You get a real feel for their emotions and your heart goes out to them. On the same token, you see how torn up her mates are over Cora missing. You can sense the love they have for her and how desperate they are to get her back. This book has so many emotions going on that you will be wrung out by the end!

The book flows really well and it all connects together perfectly. There is a seamlessness state between books one and two and even the past and present in the book itself. It all meshes well together and gives you a full-bodied story to enjoy. I really can not wait for book 3- especially after that ending! A great continuation and perfect for RH fans of fated mates, shifters, and good vs evil. Another hit from Devyn Sinclair and an easy recommend by me!

Going in to the second book was wild. Every time I thought the plot couldn't get thicker, it did. Cora comes in to her power beautifully, not just her magic, but the power of who she is as a person and what she sees and does. Things are difficult for her in this book and it shows. She goes through so much and she's not the only one. Yet she still manages to keep in mind the fact that she's not the only one who is suffering. She makes a point of still trying to help even when the consequences are terrible. The entire book is a race against the clock and it was a wild ride. The things that they go through are intense and the Kings deal with their grief and emotions in such a great way, showing that they are still Kings, but keeping the emotions in check and only visible to Cora. The bond between the four of them is amazing, and the entire time that they are helping Cora through her trauma is so well done and so well thought out and she needs it after the trials that she goes through. Again, the cliff hanger was right where it needed to be and as much as I dislike cliff hangers, I don't hate them nearly as much when they are well placed and well done. Which this one very much was.

I've literally never been so ticked at an author by the second book.. usually, I'm over a book by the first book or like the last book. But this one right here is by far the worst kinda anger a book can invoke in you. But at the same time, I have to continue to read it, and that angers me. When I read a book, I'm trying to escape. These books just tore up any possible happiness I get from reading, and I'm only on page 124. Like I know never to read this author when I'm already in a mood. Like forwarn your readers that it's not a lite book series ... I get it you want a book to drag you in and have some drama but come on now like this whole book so far has been just straight up horrible experiences I didn't expect it to be like this....
It didn't get better... I swear the author won't let the characters have any peace whatso ever. But at this point, my ocd won't let me stop on to the next one, I guess.

One missing witch....three worried mates = EXCITING read! 🐺💖

Corrupt imposter royal wolves☑
Kidnapped witch ☑
Three desperate royal mates ☑

Yup...a recipe for one giant impending cluster. Unless a certain witch can figure a few things out along the way....find a way to escape, and get back to her beloveds. Look to the past to figure out the future 😉. This series is definitely heating up, but be warned there are major abuse triggers. There's tons of action, alpha males, strong and resilient females, as well as a ton of treacherous jerks...but the story and world building continues to.draw the reader in. More pieces come into focus and we even learn a bit more about what Rose knew before her death all those years ago. Yet again we end on a cliffy, but I can't wait to see what's up next. This series really is worth checking out!!!

I wasnt ready for how many twists and turns this book had, you could watch the characters Grow and Bond in this Book, which was so necessary and exciting. I loved what they did this time, and I loved watching her guys show what True Kings look like. You continue after the last books cliff hanger, learning more about the bad guys, life within that world, and more about the past in general, we watch the guys worry, grow, and rescue, and we watch her come to terms with magic and understand it much better (which was very needed), it even brings us to what happens once the curse is lifted and I really hope we get to read more about how they're adjusting to a futuristic life (for them) and just get more of that story over all. I was very glad to read this book, and im so ready to see where the story goes next, because holy epic cliff hanger! Again!

Devyn Sinclair has created a masterful a storyline that grabs you from the first word and leaves you wanting more after the last. She makes you experience a gambit of emotions, from heartbreak and sadness to effervescent joy and laughter.

This book follows kn from the end of the last book so be sure to read that one first! We get to see and experience so much in the book. How the horrific alphas subjugate and abuse their pack females and disregard mate bonds, Cora learns more about her magic and history, although it's not enough. You get to see the depth of the fayed mate bond between Cora dn the Kings highlighting why they really are mates, their growth in this book was fantastic.

Then you get hit with twists and turns you didn't see coming and a cliff hanger for an ending that leaves you ready to jump off a cliff for more.

i was dragged down the first book and am still loving this storey so much. Book 2 is darker than book 1 showing how the other Alpha's treat women as possesions to be used and disregarded as and when. They don't respect the boundaries that mate bonds should instill and they certainly dont. Cora suffers greatly but also creates a strong bond with the other females whilst trying to learn all she can about teh pack and also her magic. Whilst the Kings try to find and bring her home.
This book will play havoc with your emotions as there are some real heart felt moments along with some horror's. The author is so good with emotional writing and you will feel all the feels!
Plenty of twists and turns plus a good amount of steam make for an enjoyable read even with teh darker moments.
Add in aother curve ball of an ending and now i am sat here will book 3 to be ready early!

So here is book two in the shifter's curse series and the question we have is are we getting answers. So we have Cora, Brandon, Edward and Knox, who are mates. So what is Cora, well we find out that she is a realta witch and that she is royalty. Then the guys as you can guess are wolves but they are cursed and that is what Cora is trying to find out why. She learns that the guys will turn into wolves if they leave the castle. They are in a war with another pack. Not all witches are nice. What will it take for Edward to accept that Cora is his mate. Can they help each other? It seems like they are prisoners in the castle but they are not. Just have to be careful. Do we get some seggsy time. Heck yeah we do. We also get a few answers, go through some emotions, and still need more answers. Needless to say, I need answers. Off to the final book of the series.

Ooo I really really like this series. Cora is so incredibly strong. What happened to her with the other wolves, and surviving that without breaking, is nothing short of incredible. Though maybe a tad unrealistic. I would have liked to see her lose it just a little bit.

And juicy gets juicier when they break the curse! I NEVER saw the rebound reversal coming. Hell yes. I absolutely loved it. Drama! I want it all. Like how poetic and ironic for her to now be bound to the castle, especially after they did kidnap her, and the other wolves kidnapped her. Girl can't catch a break!

Four stars instead of five because of a few cringe moments. I hate when books make me feel awkward. And because I'm pretty sure I know how they'll fix the curse rebounding. If I'm wrong I'll come back and up it to 5.

Ooo I was wrong. I'm so happy.

I liked this book a lot better than book 1. This book barely mentioned Rose, which I needed. Living in the shadow of your mates' former love that was stolen from them was a hard pill for me to swallow.
This book was a page turner for sure. I was a bit disappointed that when Cora shared her memories of her captivity and torture Knox (who is the only male POV for this moment) never mentioned what was being done to the women at the rival pack. I understand that Cora is their mate and main concern but it just seemed a bit callous to me that it wasn't mentioned. (not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, I know)

I am also not a fan of the way the author uses "him/he" a lot when all the men are together with Cora. Do you know how irritating it is to flip back pages just to make sure that the same "him" is talking when their names are hardly addressed together?! INFURIATIING!!

All in all I did enjoy it, and I will be finishing the series. :)

I blew through this trilogy within two days, so there is that. But there are several elements that don't make sense to me. Wolves are supposed to protect their mates from all harm. They can't harm them. So why would Dain and Morian allow what happened to their mate? Are we supposed to believe their desire to upend the natural order was that strong after losing their daughter? They are so miserable and it seems like they went against the rules of the world. And how was the daughter born as a blood witch?

Also, three books in and we still don't know much about the main characters beyond their power and love for each other. The guys don't even have that distinct of personalities.

Overall, a decent story to get lost in for a few hours. But I don't know that it's memorable and if you think about it too hard, the more flaws appear.

I rarely want a book to refrain from excess spice, but this storyline was doing so well that I was just annoyed when she was like:
I sad :(
Gimme orgy make better :(

Girl, we’ve got a false monarchy of multifaceted misogynistic corruption and complex magic you’re only just discovering, which can undoubtedly free the people from the chains of oppression, assault, and regressive ideology that has been perpetuated for centuries.

We do not have TIME for you to have sex so good that you literally turn into a crystal for some reason.
We just don’t.

I do have questions though…
Can they see themselves in her when she’s like that? Comparable to sticking it in Jell-O? You know?

Anyway.
Most of the rest is just belatedly made up mess to extend the story but it’s not all bad.
Upsetting enough to have me interested in the immolation of the enemy.

What an exciting, gut wrenching, heart warming, beautiful second installment.

The way the author encaptured this reader from page one recommencing the story effortlessly and sweeping me right back in. There's action, horror, intimacy, love, strong stubborn females, alpha males (but of course with our Cora and her men there has to be) and so much more as this tale unfold

The emotions from the characters is realistic and pure. The subject matter although bringing the horrific forward at times, is also respectfully handled. The story unfolding quickly but not too quickly, a gripping talke...

So excited to see where we go from here, who will come out the victor and what on earth could possibly happen in book 3...

Took a darker turn

Cora, a newly discovered witch, has been kidnapped out from under the watchful eyes of her wolf shifter mates. As the story progresses physical harm is not the worst of all the dangers she faces, rescue from the enemies seems futile, and if they cannot stop drowning in guilt and anger, they may lose more than the time spent apart. Devyn Sinclair took a darker turn Moon Entrapped. This series is allowing the characters to grow through the pain and darkness they face while they still cling to hope and face fears they did not know they had. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Loved it

Book 2 picks up where book one left off. Cora has been kidnapped by her mates' enemies, who want to use her as a bargaining chip - although you can guess how fair a bargain they want! Cora's time with the enemy is tough. They are misogynistic, treating the women in the pack lower that low. We do get to learn a lot about them, and why they are they way they are. Her mates are frantically trying to figure out how to get her back, which they do in a clever way. But, you know some books, you get to the last chapter and know there's not enough book left to resolve it? This is the flip side. Cora is safe, the curse is broken, but there's still a few chapters left! You know that's not good for them!

The first book was a naughtier version of Beauty & the Beast RH style, but damn, Mrs. Sinclair took us on one hell of a journey far away from fairy tales. The first book left off with Cora being kidnapped, but we didn't expect Cora to be figuratively taken back in time. Just another notch for us to hate the Amadan Alphas. This second installment allows us to see the true strength of the last Realta. When things seem to be coming together as it should there is something that throws it off course leaving us NEEDING the third book. Warning, there maybe some triggers, but oh, it is worth the storyline. P.S. It has some awesome steaminess too.

***4 1/2 stars***

Moon Entrapped book 2 in The Shifters Curse series and its darker than the first one. Some of the content might upset some folks.

Cora (FMC) is caught up in a battle of wills between her guys - Edward, Knox and Brandon and 3 abusive Alphas. Ones that are sadistic and misogynistic nasty pieces of work. Cora goes through a lot whilst shes with them. Its a hard read in places but you see Cora grow much more as a character because of it. I liked her resilience in the face of what she goes through in this book. This series is just getting better and im completely gripped with it. Its a great read

Wow, just wow. I loved the first book in this series, and honestly, this book did not disappoint. Cora is literally fighting for her life, and her captors are not making it easy for her. She's dragged into the wolf's den, with customs she knows nothing about and it's a whole learning curve for her. Her men are frantic trying to get her back, and they will do anything in their power to get her back. Thankfully, they have some unlikely allies to help along the way.

It's a rollercoaster ride from page one, with so many ups and downs it's enough to make you dizzy, but that's what made it so perfect. And with the ending, I really can't wait for book three!

What a follow up to book one. This one starts off from the cliff with Cora at the hands of the Amadan Kings. They are really horrible men. I know we saw that a bit in book one, but this one you really get to see how evil they are.

I was on the edge of my seat to see what was going to happen and how much Cora could take before she broke. I'm going to be honest with you, this one got really dark and I wasn't expecting for it to take that sort of turn.

While it's definitely a darker book, Devyn still weaves a good story as well as lays out some new information and world-building. The spin at the end I didn't see coming, so I can't wait to get the next book!
