From all walks of life and every Muslim nation on earth, God is calling courageous Muslims to Himself. You will be moved and inspired by the stories of Hassan from Malaysia, Muusa from the West Bank, Aisha from Saudi Arabia, and sixteen other Muslims who found Christ and tenaciously persevere in their faith despite the terror and sacrifice that comes with it.
We all have so much to be grateful for. But as the people in this book show us, the greatest and most universal of all things to be grateful for is a Savior. No matter where you are from, what you believed, what you’ve done, or what you fear, God offers salvation. Isn’t that amazing! That’s what these people want us to see. Our great Savior. Greater than countries, education, career, homes, lands, friends, and even family, He is worth more than we know. There is a lot of heartbreak in these stories, but there is even more joy. Each story is beautiful. The Gospel is clearly presented and shown as more valuable than all the sacrifices that each was made. While dreams are spoken of, the focus is always on the written word of God or direct witnessing. I was deeply encouraged by this book and motivated. You will be also.
An incredible collection of stories of Muslim's that have come to be Christians. ITs not easy to be a Christian in many parts of the world. You could be imprisoned or killed for going against good ol' Allah. OUCH! Someone has insecurity issues I think. But a great book of people who have found something really worth living for. Every Muslim and Christian should read this.
That Christians in America have no reason to not share their faith compared to the very real dangers of torture and loss of friends and family that former muslims face every day when they choose Christ and share about Him.
Awesome book, not only talked about the persecution Muslims endure for becoming Christians but also the cultural struggles they have. This book also taught me a lot about historical and geographical information regarding Muslims in different areas of the world. Would recommend to any Christian
This book is small but mighty! Since I was a child I have been burdened for the world's unreached, and this book brings intimate light to the lost in Islamic dominated countries. Read this book and cry with the broken as well as rejoice with the found! Above all, pray for the ones who have yet to hear.
To be honest, I didn't expect to be as moved by this book as I was. But I was shown that as cynical as I am, my heart is still truly tender. In these modern times, and in this free country, we often fail to realize how blessed we are for the freedoms that we have. It broke my heart to learn of the torture, suffering and persecution that those who decide to accept Christ often endure in other countries where it is viewed as a crime. To know their burden for their loved ones, a burden that surpasses their concern for their own lives... it moved me. It made me realize that I am often a sorry excuse for a Christian and a follower of Christ. What have I done to tell of His love? What have I done to make sure that those in my country, those in my community, those in my life can SEE His love and mercy and know of His saving grace? Some stories moved me to tears of sadness, some moved me to tears of joy, and yet they all made me weep with shame. Someday I will meet these heroes of faith. If not in this life, than certainly in the eternal life that awaits in heaven.
Individual stories of Muslims who found Christ and the cost they had to endure for it. While we do not live in a country that persecutes Christians, many other countries do, as well as some other religions.
This is an easy read book since it's 19 short testimonies. It's also an informative book that will change your perspective on the hardships of walking for Christ as a Christian in the USA. It was a help to me to get an overview of what the muslim beliefs are all about.
This book contains twenty "modern-day stories of Muslims who found Jesus". These testimonies are moving and powerful. Many suffered greatly for their faith in Jesus. The book involves stories from many different countries. Very encouraging. I recommend it.
Several incredible stories of people that overcome religious bigotry, persecution, hateful families, life threatening situations to find faith in Jesus Christ.
