The Second Scroll is an international geopolitical thriller inspired by the world’s greatest archeological the whereabouts of the lost treasures of the Jerusalem Temple – treasures so vast that their discovery could plunge the Middle East into an apocalyptic conflict. The locations of the treasure are inscribed on a mysterious copper scroll, lost for nearly two thousand years.

Charlie Carter is an army veteran plagued by PTSD and haunted by the unexplained death of his parents. When his only brother is murdered, he teams up with Vanguard, a private intelligence agency providing off-the-books services to governments and corporations, to find his killers. Their search leads them to a vicious East End gangster and his partner, a ruthless Iraqi antiquities dealer who uses his trade in illegal artefacts to finance Islamic terrorism, and who is determined to find the scroll and use it to unleash chaos.

The book takes us back to the time of Christ and the Romans’ brutal siege and destruction of Jerusalem, when the Temple treasures were secretly transported from the city and hidden around the Middle East. What follows is a race against time as Vanguard and Al-Shammari go head to head in their search for the treasures, culminating in a nail-biting denouement in Israel’s Judaean desert.
