The more I have, the more I can share to others.
And the more I share, the more I serve God and proclaim His glory.

This book has debunked the religious misconception about being materially rich. A new approach to introduce financial literacy while stressing the proper posture of heart in accordance to the values and principles of Christianity.

It allowed me to assess my current state. It made me realize the limitations I suffer as I find myself in the brink of scarcity most of the time. It made me wonder, if only I am financially abundant, I could be able to move freely. I could do greater things and reach higher grounds especially when it comes to serving God and my family.

I had a strong desire for abundance but I lack commitment and consistency. I have learned that strong desire is not enough. Action is a must. I must be responsible for my success.

I have also learned the importance of enhancing financial IQ and riding the correct vehicle to wealth. The book pretty much gives you very helpful information in a nutshell.

One cool thing I also learned is to earn thru your core gifts. Which, made a lot of sense to me. Do things that you love and enjoy doing wherein you make use of your strengths and assets in order to keep the passion burning naturally.

I definitely recommend this book. A must read. ^_^

Maging patient. Chill lang sa pera, okay. lol

Bo Sanchez created this book to advise us on the 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich. Here are the 8 Secrets of the Truly Rich with my takeaways:

(1) Be Totally Responsible for your Success
-You need to take control and be totally responsible for your own life because you have the power to create the life you want. You need to stop blaming yourself, your family, your government, other people and etc. You are the product of your own thoughts, choices, and habits. If you want to change your bad habits, then change it. Stop complaining and whining. Learn to create a new habit or a new pattern of success.

(2) Enlarge Your Psychological Wallet
-You need to change your mindset on money. Your money problems are mind problems. And the first mind problem is your core beliefs about yourself. What do you do? Rewire your thinking process, change your mindset. Have the ability to dream and pursue on enlarging your psychological wallet.

(3) Get Rid of Crazy Religious Beliefs
-Our religious belief on money is sometimes romantize, that it is the root of all evil, and blah, blah. Well, stop thinking those kind of beliefs. Money isn’t the most important thing in the world BUT money affects every important thing in this world.

(4) Be Completely Committed to Your Dreams
-If you want to chase your dreams or goals, own it and be committed on it. You are the scriptwriter and/or author of your life. Write down your dreams, commit, focus, and use the power of attraction.

(5) Raise Your Financial I.Q.
-You need to attend financial seminars and read books on financial literacy. Knowing how money works is totally different field of expertise. Also get a Financial mentor to guide on how to manage and invest your money.

(6) Ride Something to Wealth
-You need to create multiple income streams, look for other ways to grow your money. If you have a talent on cooking or any talents that you have , you can have yoir own business. Create passive income and do some side hustles. Don’t just settle for one source of income.

(7) Have a Bias for Action
- It takes a lot failed attempts to achieve success. The important key is to never give up. If you fail, do it again. Always learn why you failed in the first place. You aim and do action.

(8) Win in All Areas
-You need to win on the following: (a) strengthen your relationship, (b) grow in emotional maturity, (c) use your core gift, (d) get physically healthy, (e) gain wisdom, (f) build your money, (g) nourish your spiritual life. Don’t forget to know your values and always follow your inner compass. Give your best and define your success.

"Money isn't the most important thing. But it affects every important thing in your life."

I'd consider this as the Filipino version of Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad Poor Dad." Like Kiyosaki, Bo Sanchez slaps you in the face with unorthodox ideas that will make anybody (who was raised with irrational religious beliefs on money) uncomfortable.

It's a book that's hard to put down once you get started!

Bo Sanchez's approach to discussing any topic is a gift to the reader:
1. Straightforward and easy to read (no fancy words)
2. Practical (he makes it a point to introduce as many concrete examples as possible)

I'm sure even non-religious/non-Catholic Filipinos will appreciate this book. I'd give this as a gift to a friend.

This is one of the best book I've ever read.

It's simply demonstrated in this book that indeed "Money is not the most important thing in the world but money affects every important thing in the world" in which you will come to realize that money when use in its right purpose will bring goodness to the world.

"Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands… so that you will not be dependent on anybody."— 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

This is truly indeed a good line to ponder upon. If we mind our own lives and focus more, we won't feel any insecurities, anger, resentment, and bitterness towards others lives.
