This one took time to grow on me; at first the alternate point of view between Cyn and Dez focusing on how Cyn became a vamp seemed too long however when we start on the main story that's completely change it's really insteresting and i'm glad i did not give up.
Dez was raised to joint the silver dagger sisterhood, she always knew she would become a vampire but after her mother left when she was a child, she also got separated from her sister how got the normal life far from the supernatural world.

Now they must master their powers but also study at the academy to become stronger but under some calm appearance danger is lurking and more secrets are revealed. Between new allies and foes they must be carefulm car more than their life are in the balance.

Really if you keep reading you will love this one and book 2 seems already too far away. Good paranormal urban fantasy romance with vampire fae, shifters and so much more

Vamp Revealed is book one in the Silver Dagger Sisterhood series. This is my first time reading anything by this author and it won’t be my last. This book has such a stunning cover and was such a fun read. I’m a sucker for books with vampires and a great storyline and this fit the bill.

Things I liked:
♦️Focus on family connections
♦️Supernatural elements
♦️The overall pacing of the book
♦️The twists and turns in the plot

Cynda/Cyn- vampire- 18
Anastasia/Red- Witch- Cyns Friends
Alyze- Siren- Dez Friend
Canyon- Human
Jace- Yoga/Meditation instructor

Thoughts:
*Not sure why Dez killed Derrick bc he broke up with Cyn bc he wanted to date around in college.
*Cyn is the worst. She straight up lies then tries to deflect & say she didnt so something when she clearly did. Then is mad at Dez because she was called out. Ie she bite Carson without permission when Dez brought up his bite marks & called Cyn out. Cyn said she didnt bite him. But is made because Dez called her out for biting him. Honestly the whole interactions make me want to dnf.
* Dez & the smell thing is just odd. Its brought up in such a way it doesnt flow.
* So I decided to DNF This at about 16 chapters/40% after I thought about DNF and yet twice and picked it backup but I just can't get through the rest of the story. This story is a very immersive and There's a lot of repetitiveness and there's no drive for the characters to learn anything. Like Cyn talks about not knowing much but she doesnt even think to go research said things in say the library on campus or asking her new friends.

Synopsis: so Cyn thinks shes an only child. He parents are standoffish since about 8yrs old. Cyn is heading off to college. But wait her longlost sister Dez shows up to tell her the people she thinks are her parents arent. They are Sempiternals which is an ancient race (Vampires) & in order to become one completely she has to be "turned" and if she doesnt leave the Children of the Sun will find her & kill her. Their family is from a long line of distinguished vampire families. After Cyn birth her mom went bloodlust-y and abandoned the family. Her dad gave Cyn up for adoption & kept Dez who was 3yrs old. Their Dad was killed & Dez went insearch of Cyn. Dez wants to avenge his death. So they end up going to the academy and their ultimate goal after The Academy Is to try to join this hunters group their mother was in. Their father was in the guys version of the group. You see all the women get it sorted into their group and both sisters get sorted until Liliths/Air group. Dez meets her meditation instructor. At 30% Cyn runs into a human(Canyon) after class & bites him without asking first. Then he later shows up at her door And tells her that hes completely human but his mother is a professor at the school and she was turned into a vampire. He had come by to check on Cyn bc she did not show up to his mother's class. They gave a song attraction to each other. Dez walks by & sees Canyons bite marks. Later on Dez found Jace & they saw Prof Goldwell Canyon's mother who is barely controlling her bloodlust & made a rude comment about Lilith who showed up I told dez and Jyce to go outside and was surprised how much Dez/Cyn had seen Lillith as they normally dont see them often. He told Dez to not tell anyone they see Lilith around. 40%

This is my first book by KB Anne and it will definitely not be my last. Vamp Revealed is book 1 in the Silver Dagger Sisterhood series. There is one continuing storyline so my recommendation is to read the books in order.

This story follows sisters Cyn and Dez who were separated by their parents at a very young age. The father raised Dez and the mother abandoned them. Their father wanted one of the girls to have a normal life so Cyn was adopted to mortal parents and was raised as a human. Cyn Grew up having no idea that she was a vampire or that she had a sister. Circumstances bring them together and they are sent to Silverwood academy to train and become warriors for the sisterhood. The problem is that not all is what its seems and there are secrets that could destroy all that they are hoping to achieve...

This book was so entertaining and fun to read. I love any book with a family storyline and this one is no exception. I love the banter between the sisters and their bond is strong. Although they are still getting to know each other, they would protect one another no matter what. Dez is the experienced one with the super natural world and she is trying to help Cyn navigate being a newly turned vampire along with attending the academy . They both meet some very handsome men and I look forward to finding out more about their relationships. They also meet and find new friends. What was fun was discovering all of the twists and turns that happened the last 1/4 of the book along with some crazy secrets that I was not expecting. This story leaves on a semi cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I loved everything about this book and can't wait to dig into book 2. I give it 5 stars!

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a review, but I always buy all her books anyways.

This is the author's first venture into New Adult and I couldn't be happier with it. Her writing and my reading have always clicked, since the first book, so when she said spice I knew it was going to be good. I was incredibly happy with that aspect of it. It was done well and I really can't wait to see where it goes further into the series.

Dez and Cyn are pureblooded vampire sisters, separated when Cyn was born after their mother went full-on bloodlust and disappeared. At a certain age, all born vampires turn and their vampire abilities set in. For Dez, waiting doe her sister to hit that age is just not coming son enough, so she takes matters into her own hands and she kills her.

After a stint in Silverwood Prison, where all supernaturals have to go when they turn so they can learn to control their abilities (or die), they are invited to attend the most prestigious school. After that they may get accepted into the Silver Dagger Sisterhood, an elite group of what is essentially mercenaries and bounty hunters.

But not all is well in school. Cyn is having problems controlling her bloodlust and Dez is just having problems controlling her lust.

Secrets are revealed. Big secrets.

It was a fun and wild ride and I nearly devoured this book in one sitting. If it wasn't for adulthood, I probably would have.

A new series that will keep you mesmerized by KB Anne! Dez and Cyn are sisters who were separated by their parents. They are special born vampires that turn at a certain age. Dez searched and searched for her sister. When she finally finds her, she changes her early. They are thrown into a special prison for supes until they can overcome their bloodlust. When they are let out, they will attend Silverwood Academy where three rules are lived by; no exceptions. In order to make it into the Silver Dagger Sisterhood or Brotherhood, they have to pass through a series of tests five goddesses will put them through first; then a specific goddess will choose that person to represent her or him in the Academy. As they spend more time there, a lot of strange occurrences take place; two males have caught their attention and it seems as if these are no ordinary relationships. Secrets about the two sisters slowly dwindle out confusing them even more. They are to expect to train with many for something serious coming…but what and why? Why does one of the teachers have it in for them? From this first book, the series promises to be an epic adventure filled with heat and action~ I know I want the next book in the series right now~

A very exciting read!

I got the opportunity to read the ARC (advanced reader copy) and I absolutely loved it. It was very hard to put down and I kept wanting more. I really liked the relationship between Dez and her newfound sister Cyn, the tight bond with their new friends and -last but definitely not least- the steamy encounters with Jace 🤩.

Kim's writing style appeals to me a lot, because I could see everything she describes clearly in my mind. For me that is important in a book. I could also understand how both of the girls would be feeling in certain situations and I could place myself in their shoes. Kim put a lot of thought in the development of the main characters of the book.

I'm anxious for the sequel in which - hopefully- the family mysteries and secrets will be revealed. There where some BIG mind-blowing revelations, so I'm ready to find out more! Oh, and more of Dez and Jace, please 🔥.

It's pretty hard to write a review when you're super excited about the book, but don't want to spoil anything. In other words: read the book. You won't regret it. 🤩

This was slow to start, with chapters being told from the POV of two sisters, Dez and Cyn, alternatively. We begin by learning how Dez, who has been brought up by her dad to be a hunter, vampire and join the Silver Dagger Sisterhood, 'killed' her sister to speed up her changing into a vampire as well. Her sister was sent away to be adopted so she could live a normal life after their mother disappeared/died following her birth.
They go to Silverwood Academy to learn how to use their powers and become stronger but having been selected by one of the Goddesses to train under her, they learn that some in the academy are not as friendly as others. They make a couple of great friends and find some professors are keen to help them, as well as interacting with several of the element Goddesses at the academy. But the more they learn, more secrets are hinted at.
There are some great twists in this and it finishes on a good cliff-hanger; I can't wait for the second in the series.

This is the first book in a new series, which I have literally just finished reading. It's a great starter, the storyline is really interesting and the characters are well balanced. I'm slightly nervous for the second book, my favourite character tends to have a Streak of bad luck. Hopefully he doesn't though, I really enjoyed the world setting in this. Sempiternals are quite a unique thing, I can't wait to find out more about them. The two sisters have so much to learn, it looks like they are in for a rough ride too. There's a lot of interesting characters in book 1, I hope we learn more about some of them throughout the series. This is definitely on my list of paperback collection to buy, and hopefully it comes to audiobook too because some of the names of characters were difficult to pronounce. Hearing it read out will be fun.

Vampire academy with a sisterhood and goddesses
Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2022
I received an advance review copy of this book for free ,and I am leaving this review voluntarily. The book jumps between the past and the present. I found this to be a bit confusing and hard to follow the storylines. But My favorite scene was about the trials of the goddesses. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Overall, I didn’t connect with the book and characters. But I will read the next book to find out what happens next.

I was lucky to get an advanced read copy of this book and though it was kind of confusing at first, that didn’t stop my curiosity. The sisters had me interested to know more about them and what would come next. I can’t wait to find out what happens next to not only them, but other characters in the book!!

A little confusing in the beginning with time jumps, but quickly sorts itself out. Plenty of twists, sexy time, some drama, and friendships forming. Loving the character development, along with the story line, especially in the short time frame. Cannot wait to read more and love this first book that seems to be leading to a very long series, hopefully!

I am absolutely loving this new series.

Dez and Cyn's heritage is more complicated than either of them could have imagined. Something is brewing and the sisters need to be prepared and on their guard. What it is is anyone's guess, as those that know, aren't telling.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

DNF

I just couldn't get onto it.

The opening kept me reading, but by Chapter 5, I was finished.

The writing was abrupt. Things didn't flow naturally from one thing to another. No relationship development between estranged sisters. You were this, and now you are this.

No showing, all telling.

Maybe it would get better further in, but I couldn't hang on.

First book in a new series. This was a really good take on Vampires and other Paranormal characters. I enjoyed the growing bond between the sisters and their friends. The secrets that get revealed and the hints to more going on makes me excited to see what’s to come in the next book.
