They're roommates. Best friends. And neither knows the girl they claim to have fallen for is one and the same. Finding my ex-fiancé beneath the man we invited into our relationship jaded my heart, and I refuse to share lovers ever again. The dating app Missing Link offers me the chance to fulfill my desire of having two men love on me at the same time-without the crossing of swords. Fate plays her games, and I end up separately dating two men at the same time, who as a whole, would be my dream come true. The problem? They're roommates. Best friends. And neither knows the girl they claim to have fallen for is one and the same. When the truth is uncovered, I perceive the unrequited love in one's gaze and unrecognized feelings in the others. But the fear of being set aside a second time comes too late. I'm already in too deep.

”While’s he’s my anchor in this world, you’re my happy place. The softness to his hardness. He’s the moon in the night sky, but you’re my sunshine.”
I think I have just found my favourite MMF book.
I was waiting for this book. We met Lily as a side character in one of the author’s previous books, and I was so excited to read her story. And safe to say it didn’t dissapoint me, at all.
I adore MMF books and i’ve been reading a lot of them lately but this one is probably my favourite of the bunch. I just loved how everything was done in this one.
Brief Summary Lily wants to have a threesome with two hot guys. But she’s a little wary of the whole thing because she had one with her ex and he left her for the other guy. But she tries it with Blaine and Scott, who are best friends, because Blaine is not interested in guys. But the more time they spend together, the more Blaine realizes that he wants to be with Lily and Scott and they all end up falling in love with each other.
First, I loved the relationship in this one, so much. Blaine and Scott were best friends. And I loved how you could tell that they knew everything about each other. I loved how they made space for each other and how nice to each other they were. They had such a deep and lovely bound and I just adored reading about it. And I loved how well Lily complimented them. She was the perfect foil for the both of them and she just added to their existing relationship. The relationship in this book was just so swoony, I loved it, so much.
Second, this book was so hot. I’m pretty sure that my jaw was on the floor for half of this book because the sex scenes were just that hot. I don’t even have words to explain how hot the sex scenes were because they were just some of the best I have ever read.
Third, In poly romances, it’s easy for one of the member of the couple to start feeling like the matter less, but it never was the case in this book. I loved how equal everyone felt. I truly felt like all three members of this relationship were super equal to each other and that they all loved each other dearly. I loved how they all had separated connections with each other, with all of them bounding with each other, it made for a super nice dynamic and it really helped in making it feel like no one wasn’t as important as the others. Also, the fact that everyone had a point of view for about the same amount of pages really helped with that, too.
Also, I just adored how it was made clear that they were all into each other and all in love with each other. That just made the relationship feel so equal and perfect to me.
Fourth, Lily’s had a threesome with her ex and another guy and her ex left her for the other guy, so she was warry of being with two guys who would also want her each other. I really appreciated how the book handled these insecurities. I liked that Lily was insecure but she never pushed Scott and Blaine away and I liked how she pushed them to get together and explore what could be between them, even if she was insecure about the whole thing. I really liked how sweet she was about everything and how she didn’t lash at them for her insecurities. Also, I liked how she was ready to try and get pass them instead of letting them control her life. And also, I expecially adored how even if she had insecurities, she wanted Blaine and Scott to be together and she never hid that fact, that really worked for me. And I really loved how Scott and Blaine made sure to always include her and to show her that they want her and will never leave her. The way her insecurities were handled was so brillant and I just loved it, so much.
Fifth, this book had a lot of talks of religion and cults. Lily is from a super religious family who forced their limiting beliefs on her and she just escaped their hold. And Blaine’s family was part of a religious cunt and that experience left him scared and traumatized. This author is one of my favourite when it comes to religious themes because I always adore how she handles them. I loved how this book showed that religion can have a really negative effect on how people and the trauma that it inflicted them. I just adored how it was done in this book and it was one of my favourite part of the book because it was absolutely fascinating to read.
Also, quick warning, this book goes into heavy details about abuse in the name of religious, the physical and sexual kind. It’s the kind of think thats super hard to read about, so be be careful with that.
Sixth, I just wanna talk about the best friends to lovers part of this book between Scott and Blaine because it was just done, so well. I adore a good best friends to lovers trope and I just loved how this one was done. Scott had been pining and being in love with Blaine since they met, but he didn’t want to confess because he knew that Blaine wasn’t into men. But I loved how Blaine slowly allowed himself to explore his feelings for Scott and how he realized that was into him too. Also, I loved how Blaine and Scott truly read like two best friends who know everything about each other. The best friends to lovers part of this book was just absolutely wonderful and I adored it.
Seventh, sexual discovery is one of my favourite thing to read about in books. And I loved how it was done in this one. I really loved following Blaine as he discovered that he is into Scott and also wants to be with him. Blaine had been in a cult when he was younger and what he went through there was traumatizing enough to stop him from entertaining thoughts about being with men. So he had a lot of feelings to deal with but I really liked how these were shown and how he slowly realized that he’s attracted to Scott.
I just enjoyed reading this book, so so much. This was such a fascinating and wonderful reading experience and i’m really glad that I had it.
I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest opinion
*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book***
Blaine, Grayson, and Lily are quite a trio that each complement one another in such distinctive ways. Lily is just getting over her traumatic exit from her previous marriage and her church, while Blaine and Grayson have their own challenges they are both trying to overcome as well.
Blaine has a significant traumatic backstory that was very difficult to read about, but it definitely added major layers to his character, while Grayson has an unrequited crush, that might not be as unrequited as he thought.
Overall this is a fantastic story about finding the right person, who just might be more than one person while learning how to heal with the help of others. I loved the dynamic between this trio of characters and was so surprised at the depth this story took.
Lily can finally fulfill her dream of being with two men at once.
Blaine, Grayson and Lily are a great trio that complement each other very well. Each person has their own struggles that they are dealing with, but together they all overcome them. I especially liked getting to see their backstories and how they managed to overcome them, Blaine's being one of the more heartbreaking ones.
The story was done well, and while we get some steam, the biggest part of this book are the emotions. The book is steamy, but it's also raw, and gritty, giving us a heartbreaking story of our main characters that having us smiling in the end as we cheer them on.
Lily is living her life in California after her break up from her sweet boy friend who is now with the man he loves . She is wondering what it would be like to have two men to have fun with . Enter the missing link a dating app where she finds a guy that could maybe scratch an itch she has . Also she meets the sweetest most shy guy at the coffee shop she works at for the summer . She is attracted to both of them, little does she know that they are best friends and roommates . Will she finally find the men that will fulfill the fantasies she has or will they leave her in the dust . Hmmmmmmm ok this is Lily's story and it is well written . At the beginning of the book though Lily really kind of annoyed me , she still seemed to be a little naive in a way and just a little spoiled . I know she is insecure about relationships through out the book . But she really surprised through out the book as she matured and you really got to see the way she truly loves and wants to be loved. The men that come into her life are like polar opposites of each other but are best of friends . Greyson well he is the West coast surfer kind of guy who has money but is a good guy . He is kind of bossy every now and then but deep down in his heart he is a loving man who wants love and wants to love the two people in his life . Blaine is well he is a broken tortured man who wants to be loved . He has had such a tortured past that still haunts him to this day. He is just sweet and loving all you want to do is wrap him up in a warm blanket and just hold him and love him .Each of them are complex but when together they really do complete each other . This is the one book I was waiting for, I really wanted to see how Lily grew up and found her loves . The author did a great job in bringing Lily , Greyson and Blaine together. There were moments where I was laughing so hard that I actually snorted and there were many parts where tears were flowing freely especially when Blaine 's story was being told . There are triggers in this book about past child abuse and sexual abuse in a cult . This is one of those storires that you can sit down and read in an evening , especially if you love characters that are flawed and broken .So check it out .
What a great beginning to this series. Lynn Burke knows how to weave a story, keeping us invested in the storyline and characters.
Lily knows what she wants and she goes for it, she had a hard breakup, but doesn't totally hate her Ex, what she loves is being part of a menage. She starts dating Blaine and Grey, separately until they find she is what they had been missing. And just wow, their connection was pretty intense.
This story had me hooked right from the start and I totally enjoyed all the drama, the suspense and most of all the sexy times.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
I want to be a Lily Sandwich. I'm a sucker for insta-love and this book hits all the delicious feels! The emotional connection between Blaine and Greyson is so heartwarming but add in Lily and it makes the physical intensity all the better. The way Lynn wrote the connection between the 3 characters is unreal, it is absolute perfection and off the charts SPICY. You can feel the love just in the looks they give and the touches between them.
Seeking Two Lovers is book 1 in the new Missing Link series by Lynn Burke.
We first met Lily back in the Sinful Nature series, where she had her heart broken and moved out of state. As we dive back into her story, she is now on a dating app, seeking out two men/lovers. Without giving too much of the plot away, she ends up dating both Blaine and Grayson separately and is drawn to both, not knowing that they are actually friends and live together.
There is a great deal of emotional subject matter in this book, as Blaine suffers anxiety and trauma as a result of childhood abuse from a cult he was raised in. He is such a sweet soul and you can't help but want to grab him from the pages and give him a hug. His best friend Grayson, has been his confidant, protector and buffer for many years. Grayson, who is bi, harbors deeper feelings for Blaine but has kept them in check, until Lily enters the picture.
I think the pace of the book was perfect and pretty realistic. Once the three of them connect and start experimenting as a threesome, the steam level is off the charts. Lynn has an amazing talent of bringing readers an emotional, yet incredibly hot story, all in one book. I can't wait to see what comes next in this series!
What happens when you go on a dating app to find two men to fulfill your every desire and then find out you met them separately beforehand??
Seeking Two Lovers is a MMF story of Lilly, a anti-church girl due to past issues who is seeking to have two men at once. She goes on a dating app and connects with Grey, a bi man who has a best friend: Blaine. Blaine has been through some rough stuff after escaping from a cult back East. He’s struggling with past trauma, afraid for his sister but also curious about his feelings for his friend.
What starts as a simple conversation with Grey through the app ends up becoming a shock when she discovered she’s been on a date with boys guys before knowing they were best friends. As the story progresses Lilly struggles with feeling like she is enough for the guys as their relationship and friendship is years longer than the few weeks she been a part of their lives. Can she put aside her past betrayal to accept love from two lovers??
The story is well done, the 🥵🥵 scenes are very 🥵🥵.
This book turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I was expecting a smutty, delightful ménage romance but I got so much more than that.
Each character feels like a real person. I could sympathize with their struggles with dealing with past trauma but also exploring their sexuality. I really enjoyed that each character has a special relationship with the other in the trio. I liked the emotional bonds Grey & Blaine and Blaine & Lily had and the playful one Lily & Grey had. The dynamics between all three were done perfectly and I hope to see these characters pop up again in future books.
The steam here is high, like to outer space high! The sex scenes served a purpose but were also incredibly 🥵. The connection these three had just made the sexy times even better. Expect MFM, MMF, 🍑, 👅 of 🐱 & 🍑, plus more!
I am so happy I took a chance on this book & cannot get my hands on the next book quick enough.
Holy, Moly! I need an industrial size fan after reading this scorcher! I might go as far as saying this is one of Lynn's hottest books yet.
I don't know what it is about Poly/Ménage books lately but I am absolutely living for this sub genre and these three brought the spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
This extravaganza of a romance between a jaded and jilted women (Lily From Unholy Yearning) whose desire of having two men love her at the same time (without the crossing of swords) Ventures on a dating app called Missing Link where she find two men of her dreams. Trying to date two men separately has it's benefits and problems especially when they’re roommates. Best friends. And neither knows the girl they claim to have fallen for is one and the same.
Seeking Two Lovers is surprisingly tender, with raw moments and deals with overcoming toxic relationships and trauma that might be triggering for some.
Okay, I kept going back and forth on this one. I had to keep telling myself in the beginning that Lily went in not wanting a relationship the same as Greyson and Blaine. And that Greyson loved Blaine from the beginning. This all started out as a hookup. Just because she seemed not the focus and I hate that BUT I kept reminding myself how it was going to end. I loved Lily and how she was going to put her happiness on the back burner for a second time just so Greyson and Blaine could be happy together. So many times I went back and forth saying Lily leave girl because I think I would have. I wouldn’t have gotten as far as she did with them But every time I had my doubts Greyson and Blaine would say something that would change my mind. It was a roller coaster. Greyson did seem a bit manipulative when it came to Blaine. Poor Blaine and everything he went through I felt so bad for him.
What is better than one maim male character in a Lynn Burke book, two of course! Blaine and Greyson are just too hot for words, and Lily agrees whole heartedly. Blaine has a very troubled past that haunts him daily. If it wasn't for Greyson, he wouldn't know what his life would have been like. They were friends from the age of ten and have been friends since. Now that Lily is alone, she sees this app as a way to have fun. Then meeting Blaine and Greyson throws her and them for a loop. Without Lily, Blaine would never have healed and Greyson would still have unrequited love for Blaine. The three just fit in a way that has you wishing you were Lily. I know I did.
This story crept up on me and blew me away. We've met Lily before in Unholy Yearning and she left to find two lovers. Blaine and Greyson are friends and you know there is something "more" as far as feelings go between these two, but with Blaine's past, it's going to be a huge mountain to climb. The story had me in it's grips from the first page. Beware as you're probably going to need a crying towel or a box of Kleenex as the emotions will literally pour out of this as you read it! I cried, I got mad, I laughed and I fell in love with all three characters. It's a journey for them but it's going to be a hard fought journey! Beautiful story and I can't wait to see more in this series!
Where to start with this. Such an amazingly written emotional story. A grippling throuple dynamic with a disturbing background for one & a blissful escape for all three in completely different ways. We see such amazing character growth from all MCs, they all have insecure thoughts that draw you in with how real it all feels. Such strength is shown from such hard & emotional backgrounds, showing that no one is beyond love.
I absolutely loved this throuple, each one had something that draws you in & makes it damn near impossible to leave again.
Such an emotional, fulfilling, steamy, MMF book. The writing is spectacular. The events and emotions are heartbreaking. I loved reading the relationship develop between all 3 and each other. And it had a fitting end 💙
I had a craving for a hot MMF or MFM and this was the first result on Amazon. I finished it in one sitting! The chemistry between Lily/Blaine, Lily/grey and Grey/Blaine was off the charts. I immediately went onto SW and bought all the other books.
Lily (FMC) is still trying to learn who she is outside of the structured upbringing she had. She is still hoping to find two lovers that want her to be their center point. Grey and Blaine (MMC’s) have a friendship that completes each other in a way not most could understand. Sharing women works for them, and the missing link app works perfect for that. However, Lily is everything they didn’t know they were missing. The intense connection and insta-love/lust feelings make this book spicy in all the right ways. These three become one in an emotion filled story. TW past child abuse and sexual assault: 18+
My first five star book in awhile. I really enjoyed the characters and how they spoke with each other and interacted. The boys were so sweet and lily was a fighter. Absolutely loved this book!
This was my first book from this author, and now I wanna read all her books!!
Lily has been wanting to find 2 lovers to love on her, if you know what i mean 😉😉. She just wantd a hook up, with 2 hot guys, completely focused on her with no swords crossing (due to her past). While on the Missing Link app, she starts talking to Greyson Scott and meets Mr Yummy aka Blaine at the coffee shop she works at.
And Holy crap. These 3 together, some of the hottest spice ever!!!!!!
I love Lily, Blaine and Grayson! Grayson is the rock, Blaine is dealing with a lot and I love how much Lily helps them both.
I couldn't put this book down once I started, and I absolutely loved the story!!! I cant wait to read more from this author!!!
Another phenomenal book by Lynn. I absolutely loved the way this trio absolutely completed eachother. Lynn always manages to make you fall in love with the characters and makes you feel so invested in their HEA. This book deals with some really hard life struggles and I honestly don't think it could of been handled better. This story really pulls your heart strings. I genuinely think each book gets better and better. If you haven't read Lynns books go and get them you don't know what your missing. They are so so good 🥰
OMG I couldn't get enough the emotion and feelings I felt with Greyson and Blaine were so overwhelming and you just wanted to be there to hug them, throw in the fiesty Lily and it is perfection. The instant love and attraction is off the charts hot to the point of sizzling they are very lucky to find what they never thought would be possible and my heart is so full.
This is beautifully written and just consuming and exciting but alot of grief also so it merged together perfectly.
Okay, I kept going back and forth on this one. I had to keep telling myself in the beginning that Lily went in not wanting a relationship the same as Greyson and Blaine. The missing link app is genius - it gets you connected with people who are searching for something specific and possibly out of the normal.
What a crazy coincidence - she meets to different men, different ways & places.. but surprise surprise those men already know each other!! Ahhh how perfect that they are able to build a relationship separately and then come together and it should be what everyone needed! A group of people who complete each other and will offer a shoulder to lean on.
The spice in this book.. please, it was so good! DP & DVP… the dirty talk had me gasping! I needed more!
Part of this story does take a darker turn with some past religious trauma (&more) so please look at that trigger warnings - but it’s nothing too graphic.
I was given an ARC of this book via SMUTHOOD.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
After a broken heart Julia moves to the other side of the country to start over. Right now she’s not looking for anything but d!ck and hopefully 2 if she’s lucky. After her fiancé chose their third(male) over her she swore she would not be with any guys who crossed swords. When she sets up a profile on a just sex hook up app she come across “Scott’s” profile and pokes him after reading that he and his roommate are looking for a woman to share. They start texting and sexting there is lots of flirting before they meet. She goes on a date with “Scott” without his roommate so he can get to know Julia better to see if she would be a good fit between them. It’s instant sparks and they hit it off. Julia is a teacher but is working a summer job at a coffee cafe while school is out. This is where she meets Mr Yummy Blaine, he’s a shy awkward hunk of a man and she’s single even if she just hooked up with “Scott”. Blaine asks her to lunch and they have a connection just at a slower pace. “Scott” finally feels comfortable enough for Julia to meet his roommate so they can get to the good stuff. The night Julia arrives at the bar to meet them she’s shocked to find out that “Scott” is really Greyson Scott and his roommate is none other then Blaine. Awkward.. but actually they’re all glad because they each felt a connection with Julia. As they start their adventure Julia is terrified that her past is going to repeat itself since she can see how Greyson/Scott feels about Blaine and Greyson is also Bisexual. Greyson and Blaine’s backstory is heart wrenching and very emotional! So there are some major issues these three will have to work through. Their past, thier present and the fact that Blaine is straight there is a lot going on. This book will have you rooting for them all! Lots and lots of steam, woo this sucker is HOT! There are some topics mentioned that could be triggering but overall by the end you just wanted these three to find themselves and trust one another so they can find their HFN.
One of my favorite characters from Lynn Burke’s “Sinful Natures” series, Lily, is back in the first book of a new series centered on a hookup app called Missing Link. I loved Lily back when she first appeared in “Unholy Yearning” as the preacher’s daughter who has a dirty mind and is engaged to Levi, one of that book’s main characters, and I loved when both she and Levi found their own ways to be happy apart from each other while still remaining friends. Lily moved to California with her cousin to live free of her family, her former church, and to find love under her own terms. What she wants, what she craves, is two men. Two men at once. It’s been her dream for years.
First off? This book is hot, hot, hot. The blurb does a poor job of letting you know what you’re in for, seeing as most of what’s in the blurb happens before the 40% mark of the book, but hooboy! Beware all who enter: there is much spiciness to be had! (I’m kidding, because if you know Lynn, you absolutely know spiciness comes guaranteed). There’s also the typical lack of toxic masculinity I’ve come to love from Lynn’s books (yes, talk about your feelings!), along with complex familial dynamics.
There is a huge amount of personal trauma in this book related to one of the main male characters, and it results in a lot of angst in this book. Not as much angst as I’ve seen in some other books like it, but it’s there all the same.
By far, my two favorite things about this book is the complete triad of polyamory and the way Lily helped bridge the gap between Grey and Blaine when she saw how they felt about one another. Lily is a gregarious and generous girl with both her affections and emotions, and even though she risked being hurt again she put herself out there like that so these two guys could find each other. She’s just so sweet.
Thanks to the author for providing me with an advanced copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Seeking Two Lovers continues the story of Lily who we met in Unholy Yearning as the fiancée of Levi. After their breakup and to avoid parental fallout, she moves to California to live with her cousin Hayley.
She is determined to fulfil her fantasy of having two male lovers, and signs up on the Missing Link app as S2L.
She meets 'Scott' through the app and they have a successful date and a mutual attraction which they follow through on.
Enter Blaine, who visits Carla's café where Lily is working until she starts her teaching post. There is an instant attraction through subtle gazes which I found so very sweet. Mr Yummy!
After dating Scott and Blaine separately, and finding herself falling for both, Lily is in a quandary...
What a treat the scene where they all met up in Shadow's Lounge was. The reveal when they realised that Lily and S2L were the same was priceless! As was Greyson and Blaine's true identities and friendship!
The dynamics and back story between Grey and Blaine were so well written. Their relationship was so powerful and tangible that it leapt off the pages.
• We have Blaine with his abusive background and ongoing insecurities and Greyson who outwardly is full of bravado, but needs to be loved. • Add Lily to the mix, and this makes for a beautifully written story, with plenty of angst, unrequited love, acceptance, recollection of childhood abuse, enduring friendship, and soooo much steam.
There is so much to love in their story, it was a joy to read. The spicy scenes were hot AF and I rooted for them all the way.
