They say bad things come in threes, and the De Luca brothers have trouble written all over them.
Matteo, Vito, Enzo. Their ruthless reputation has followed them all the way from Italy to New York City and they’re here to collect what they were promised.
I’m not supposed to care that they’re enticing, my favorite kind of temptation. I’m here on a mission to wipe the slate of my sordid past clean.
But one taste is all it takes to have me questioning my plan. I’m sinking faster than I can piece together a way out.
Redemption has never tasted so bittersweet.
Redemption is a why choose standalone spin-off story from Featherstone Academy with hints of violence and steamy scenes.
29/8/23 - dnf @12% - I loved the other books in this series but I can’t get passed this being about Wren. I just don’t care enough about her story to read anymore.
Getting to see what Wren was like without the influence of her family was nothing like what I expected! She was very apathetic at her core which I found to be very interesting given how over the top she was back at Featherstone! Although after getting more insight into her childhood it's no wonder she came out the way she did! Perhaps it's also the fact that she wasn't expecting to live much longer after the events of Our Bloodline, she feared nothing and nobody because she was resigned to her fate of imminent death for her and her family's crimes. Until she met the De Luca brothers that is. 😏
Now I'll be the first to admit that I am not a fan of the instalove trope but that doesn't quite feel like the correct way to describe the meeting of Wren and the De Luca brothers. Instalust for sure but also a bit more than that. The only way I can describe it is when people say that they just know. However none of these lovable little fools actually knew. They were all clueless tbh but each one of them were constantly fighting an overwhelming sense of attraction and an instinct to protect the other despite the way things blew up pretty early on. It was also so satisfying to watch Wren shatter their expectations of her time and time again. The fact that those boys were constantly rendered speechless by the things she said and did was v entertaining. 🤣
But the thing I enjoyed the most was Wren finding a family! Her relationships with Nonna and Valentina were giving me life and it made me remember why ride or die female friendships are one of my favorite things to read! It might also have been because watching those two constantly put the boys in their place was hilarious as well! But in the end, watching Wren be freed from the chains of her past so she could start her journey of healing through love without the threat of death was everything I wanted for her! Bonus points for all the cameos from our OG Featherstone gang! It was nice to see them make peace with each other given everything that happened between them in the past. Overall this was a great addition to the Featherstone series that did it's namesake proud! ❤️
Oh and that final twist at the end has me SO PUMPED for KC's next series! #iykyk 👀😈
A FUCKING GENIUS. listen people, Featherstone Academy is one of the my all time favorite series. like ever. I LOVE. so the fact that I get ANOTHER Featherstone book, it enough to make my poor lady parts combust.
First thing you need to know is that during Luna & her guys series i fucking LOATHED Wren. like secretly (not so secretly) i wished she would kick a rock barefoot. Which is why KC Kean just rocked my shit because ill be damned if I dont lover her little platinum blonde ass lmao. To have a character make a reader feel such a WIDE range of emotion for them throughout a series is really exceptional in my opinion.
NOW HOLY SHIEEEET BALLS ON TOAST, I need a slice of Italian Mafia cake & i need sexy sprinkles in the form of Vito, Matteo and Enzo right on top. If you wanna roll them around in chocolate sauce i wouldnt say no to that either.
Wren handles her shit. Obviously we know she has to be somewhat of a badass to go to Featherstone, this is the first time we really get to see her be a badass. and I am here for it okay.. pew pews and stabby knife throws, so yum. I am SO a slut for character development.
i binged this fucking book like my life depended on it & as expected - It did not disappoint . i guess poems in my reviews is a thing now so: Roses are red, the DeLuca’s possess me Im a slut for the mafia so please come undress me *MIC DROP* lmaoooo
🔪 Featherstone Academy 🔪 Italian Mafia 🔪 pew pews and stabbys 🔪 BADASS FMC 🔪 Why choose - sexy italian brother edition 🔪 character redemption bby
KC KEAN, THE LAST LINE OF THIS BOOK HAD MY ASS RUNNING TO AMAZON. you sneaky sneaky little smut genius… AHHHHHHHH. VROOM VRROM MOTHER FUCKERSSS. im so fucking excited.
I LOVED this book! I am surprised by how much I was dragged in by Wren’s story by the beginning. I loved the Featherstone Academy series and this is a fantastic addition to a brilliant series. You truly get to learn more about Wren and why she is (and was) the way she is (and was). Enjoyed the characters from other series popping up as well. Love a cross over. Makes me want to go back and read FA from the beginning all over again Love love love HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Book: Redemption Read By: Ebook Author: Kc Kean Genre: Reverse Harem, Dark Romance Recommend: Yes Spice:🌶️️🌶️️🌶️️ < b>Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years My feelings:
Ohhhhh wren!!
“The assaults, the shotguns, and the snipers are my preferred. Handguns remind me of tiny dicks, and I was just built to take more, you know?”
Ok I hated her in the first 5 books, legit wanted to just rub her off the pages with an eraser. Now I take it back. She came back and took my heart wit her! Goes to show there is always 2 sides to stories and everyone deserves there happy ending.
Wren Dietrichson was mine before I even knew who she truly was, and she’s mine just as much now. We didn’t choose this, and I don’t think she did either, but it is the most honest, raw, and real thing I’ve ever felt in my life.
Highly recommend!

ending this series has broken my heart, i started this book in mid 2023 and never went back to it cause reading the last book in one of my favorite series felt too much, and saddened me but here i am. i love wren, and her men. featherstone academy means so much to me. seeing features of other characters it was all just so heartwarming. wren deserved her happy ending. 🫶.
4.5⭐️- NGL: I wish this series (meaning each plot since there are 3 at this point) was as concise and well written as this one. There were times the other books felt like they dragged out a lot of the plot and the inevitable, but this one hit the mark.
I’ve waited a year to say this …. WE’RE BACK WITH MORE FEATHERSTONE!!!!!
After an exorbitant amount of time spent trying to convince KC that we needed more, she finally caved!! I’m sorry … but also not 🤣
Post Luna and Jess’ stories, things have finally started to settle but the cleanup from the fallout has just begun. And with that, Wren is starting to not only find out who she truly is, but also where she fits in this world.
Which is how she crosses paths with the hottest set of Italian brothers a girl could ask for! Enter the DeLuca brothers - Enzo, Vito, and Matteo. These guys are head of the DeLuca Family in Italy but they’re stateside to collect a debt.
I won’t give much away on the story except to say it completely sucked me in and I devoured it! Wren is a phenomenal female lead, especially knowing her past in the previous books. The guys are strong and each very different, especially with Wren, which led to some fantastic steam - something I’ve come to know and love from Miss Kean!
And of course, I fell for the side characters 🥰 Nonna was amazing, Valentina for sure needs her own book, and the cameos were 🤌🏼 So glad to be back in the world and I’d be happy to never leave!
KC Kean has done it again! Another phenomenal Featherstone Series book.
I hated Wren with a fiery passion in the other books..but getting to see inside her head and knowing now what she went through brings up a whole new set of feelings. Thank you for giving Wren her own book..She definitely earns her Redemption and OMG those DELICIOUS ITALIAN DeLuca brothers. 🤤❤️🔥🥵
Alsooo..super excited to see where your next series takes us 😎🏍️🖤
Never thought I’d be diving back into the world of Featherstone after all these years but here we are and like the originals I Absolutly loved it. Wrens story we needed and I didn’t even know it! Aaaand was that a little hint at something new coming MS Kc Kean?
Everybody hates Wren, let’s be real here. Are you ready to love her? Because I do now! Everything she did was because someone else was pulling the strings. She wasn’t the bad guy, but made out to be.
I loved reading her and the De Luca brothers story.
The fall hard and fast with betrayal and secrets around every corner. But all wren wants is redemption. Will she get it?
Took me a minute to remember where this left off and picks up, but it all came back and was a great story for Wren. She gets Redemption. And we get to see Luna and her men again. 😁💕
I feel like the whole romantic relationship was missing from this book. They never discussed sharing her, there was no romance, a few sex scenes and magically they are in love… I finally started to like the book and then it was over. It felt like there was an entire book missing from this story.
OMG!!!! I am in absolute shock and awwww in equal measure!!!!
KC Kean !!!!! **This book !!!! **book 6
**Wrens story was absolutely, hands down the best book that I have read throughout this series but also from you this far PERIOD!!! Just wow!!!
The fact that I was going to pass on this book completely because of my absolute hatred for Wren and I was certain that nothing would change my views of her after everything she did to Luna!!! I mean I hated her more than any other villain in any other books….so there was no chance of me changing my views of her. But… Then I got to thinking that I would miss parts of Luna stepping further into her role climbing to the top and I didn’t want to miss that so I then planned to skim through all parts except Luna, Her guys or the crew!!!
I did skim for the first few chapters but got enraptured and had to go back to the beginning and start over!!! I devoured every freaking word!!!!
OMG I’m freaking out!!!!!! ~my only complaint is Whyyyyyyyy did wren only get 1 book but Jess got 2??? And why didn’t Wren end up with my Maverick????? Tears.
Anyways!!! KC, you not only took a disgusting excuse for a villain who caused so much damage that the thought of her gaining redemption was just to far fetched and completely laughable….. but you absolutely showed up and not only changed my entire view of this girl, convinced me that she absolutely took her Redemption with both hands, Had me crying over her broken story “She is absolutely the only one out of all the characters in this whole series who actually had the horrible childhood that lived up to the build up and honestly it wasn’t built up enough to prepare me and to top all that off…. She didn’t ever show her weakness and she never had episodes and pity parties for herself like the others!!!!
All FMC’s and Women in general need to be like Wren!!!
Honestly she stole my #1 FMC of all time spot and no it’s not because I pity her childhood…. I actually relate because mine was very similar. Anyways…. She stole #1FMC of all time because wholly crap!!!! Where was this Wren hiding when acting psycho???? I had no clue underneath all that squealing and whinny attitude was a Warrior Through and Through!!! I’m absolutely convinced that she not only saved Luna and killed her parents instead but she had to of been holding back the ENTIRE time!!! Every time she fought against Luna…. Granted not even men can beat Luna in hand to hand…. Being second would still absolutely be Awesome!!! I honestly think she was pulling her punches though foreal. But I know for sure that if Wren really wanted Luna dead all those times…. She would be!!!! Knowing how she fights, her knowledge in weapons ALL weapons and her fierce never fear attitude and BAM!!! Best Female Character Of All Time!!!! I just wish there was more of Wren and less of Jess with more of Luna and Wren fighting on the same team!!! ~Omg so many precious moments… like West saying her right hand holds the best shot of all time record!!! ~ Luna despite every thing Wren did… never left her behind!!! Wow just wow!! ~Nonna and Wrens relationship. ~Her complete Openness with the Brothers about her past…. spilling any horrible detail easily and without any emotion while literally shredding them apart every time was so gut wrenching because what was normal for her childhood was a true tortured nightmare for anyone else and she had unwavering strength and a healthy mind that allowed her to shine and not be jaded like so many others in the book!!! Just absolutely in Awww!!! Wren will forever be with me.
I also absolutely LOVED Nonna’s motherly nurturing support of Wren and boy did she deserve it!!!! But also a true ride or die best friend/sister in law that I absolutely loved!!!! Her personality and I’m hoping to read V’s book in the future because I could really use more of Val and her ”oh I would thank you for saving me but you smudged my new pants” Also her banter with her brothers is the best and I love how she puts Wren first even before her brothers!!! Wren deserves this positive family circle and fresh start more than anyone so I hope to get to see more of her and V in future books!!!
Also what’s up with Axel???
And Ethan????
I thought for sure him and V!!!
Man oh man so much potential!!! I could honestly go on and on about this book!!!!
Arc review here and I hope you can keep up because I've got a lot to say 🤭
Now if you are anything like me and wasn't 100% sure on Wren getting her own book than join the club 🙋🏼♀️ because what you've got to remember is Wren was the bad girl in Luna story and I honestly hated her she was a vile b!tch... But now whoo she's a badass b!tch... And honestly I loved that KC didn't make Wren and Luna friends in this ( don't worry at the end there are 😜) because Wren really did need to earn her redemption and boy did she ever...
Now onto the book phew it had everything. I love the instant spice at the start of the book ( I've read 2 slow burns recently so I really needed an instant heat and boy did I get it 🥵) and then we got the enemies to lovers aspect qnd the slow burn between them all and Oop the tension between all 4 of them was everything 👨🍳💋 the kidnapping ( yes I know Wren decided to go with them to save Luna but I said what I said kidnapping and I was instantly here for that 😜😂) age gap 👨🍳💋 ( I know the De Luca brothers ages weren't mentioned but I saw them older so I'm going with an age gap) and now onto the brother's omg I didn't like just one or even two of them I loved them all they were so great so 🥵🥵🥵 they know what they are doing and they know how to satisfy women more specific their women 🥵
I devoured this book in a day I could not stop reading it, it had everything EVERYTHING you want from a book... And I really liked Wren in this book I got to understand her as a person I understood her past her present and got to witness her future with the brothers... And I'm really glad I read this. Wren needed her own story and she got it I'm glad KC gave her a voice she earnt it... She earnt her friendship with Luna and her guys, she earnt her love with the brother's and she sure a hell earnt her redemption... Told ya I had a lot to say 😉😂
P.s big shout out to Nonna she's the absolute best she whips those boys into shape and had Wren's back she was a great addition to this story loved her 😍

I absolutely LOVE this series and its world. It’s the one that made me an instant fan of KC Kean. This is Wren’s story and Redemption is an aptly named title as she was a nightmare in the previous books.
We previously learned that her childhood was deprived of any sort of affection and the only parental interactions she had were filled with cruelty, which ultimately lead to her being the one to take out Totem. We learn a lot more about that dynamic in this book. It was interesting to watch her basically jump at any chance to be punished for her past actions, like she somehow deserved eternal suffering, while simultaneously learning what she deserves and asking for it. There is a lot of self loathing intertwined with self love. Her relationship with her guys evolved nicely throughout the book. Side note: not a single part of me had sympathy for their (the guys) initial beef with Featherstone, nor did I think they had a leg to stand on regarding what they expected *sigh* men 🙄 lol Anyway, Wren’s chemistry with the guys was spicy and fiery.
The plot is great and in line with the Featherstone reputation. It was nice seeing characters from the past resolve their issues with Wren. It also made me remember how much I love this book world. There are so many side characters I’d love to see books about.
Wren is finally here, baby!! Who would have guessed I would have loved her so much? Ok, maybe everyone, but STILL, she was amazing!! She's persevered through so much, is SUCH a badass, and is trying so hard to find her redemption -- both with Luna and all who she's wronged, and with herself too. She just never expected to find herself on the crossroads with the DeLuca brothers, who will either be her salvation or her doom. Either way, it's going to be a crazy ride!
We're thrust right into Wrens world, and the pieces slowly start to come together as the story goes on about her upbringing, how crazy abusive her childhood was, and how she was basically a pawn for her parents and never did a single thing for herslef.. until Vito, Enzo and Matteo. They all bring out something very different in her, and while she never has experienced love or really any form of genuine kindness before this, the journey they go on is so incredibly real. She was vulnerable at all the right times and was able to break down the guy's walls too, and really become the missing piece they didn't realize they were searching for. It was all amazing!
Plus I totally loved how easily Wren could unalive someone without breaking a sweat. Girl is goals for a reason!
And that tease with the next series?! OMG, I CANT WAIT!!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions**
Okay so Kean’s trip away from Featherstone has been less than stellar for me. I haven’t loved any of her other series as much as I love these. Now I know that a few of them had some minimal ties to Featherstone but the ones that have the big ties, Luna, Jess and now Wren are by far the best of her work. This story picks up with Wren trying to earn redemption for ALL the horrible she was and did. At first I was worried I wouldn’t like it because Kean was so good at making Wren the bad guy but the transition was decent and I liked her enough by the end. I do wish there was more detail about the guys and their business and family instead of just one liners. It would have been nice to have more development between Valentina and Wren instead of insta friendship, but it’s okay. I don’t know that I would have been interested in two books of this. So I’m glad she kept it to one. I want more from this world. I want to know about the girl sister to one of Jess’ guys. Last we saw her she got taken from a party they were throwing. I want to know about Valentina and now Axel. I can’t wait to read all of these. Also Kean needs to give me more MM within the main relationship because it was so great in Bloodlines.
I love this world sooooo much, and even though KC didn't intend for all of her series to connect, I am so glad they do. The bigger the world the better. This book, Wren's story was the perfect addition. I love that we get a look at who she really is and what horrors she's been through in life for her to have been the way she was at Featherstone. That person wasn't truly her, its who she had to be to survive and its hard to dislike her after knowing. At the end of Featherstone when she took down the big bad Totem that was the beginning of her journey in self discovery. She could have followed his orders and continued to be his puppet but she finally saved herself and un the process saved Luna and everyone else.
Wren deserves a new start, away from everything touched by her parents, even though it wasn't the life she would have chosen for herself she's still drawn to it, only now she takes down the bad guys instead of being one. She finds love and is worthy of it. She finds herself a real family who accepts her for her and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her. She finally gets her happily ever after and I loved it. I can't wait to see what next journey KC sends us on.
*RH *Contemporary *Multi-POV *Mafia *badass FMC *captive *insta-obsession *brother harem (3) *fast burn 🔥 *standalone Rollercoaster Ride! Honestly if you’ve met Wren (in Lunas trilogy) before she’s the character you never ever thought you would like or feel empathy for! Yet we get glimpses into her life under Totem and you begin to see what she was actually put through and with her history you don’t want to feel for her but you truly truly do, she’s soo strong 💪🏻 especially as she battles for her redemption with Featherstone but also for herself, she’s acknowledged she’s a Grade A Witch but she’s truly trying and with the help of the DeLuca boys she might just achieve that ☺️ And wow are these DeLuca boys top notch book boyfriends! There’s the eldest Matteo the cool calm collected leader, Vito the aloof and broody enforcer, and Enzo the typical youngest your cheeky chappie, they don’t realise it yet but it’s love at first sight the minute they lay eyes on Wren and that fire only continues to grow 🔥🔥🌶️🌶️ but when she reveals all it truly puts a spanner in their plans and makes them question everything!! A superb standalone so good I read it in one sitting!! 😄
Wow just wow! I hated Wren and was not sure how KC Kean was going to earn her Redemption but she did and then some. This book is so good and Wren, well she is Wren - strong, not apologetic, sexy, says it how it is and she has finally found herself! She had been raised under the influence of 2 sociopaths and had to become who they wanted never being who she wanted. Learning more about her life was heart-breaking.
She is trying to earn her Redemption from what happened in Luna's books and her assignment is 3 hot sexy men.. the de Luca brothers. She shows her loyalty but think she loses the de Luca's in the process but she is Wren and she matches their crazy with her own. This book is hot and sexy. The de Luca's are each developed so well and it is so nice to see the relationship between Wren and each of them.
I really enjoyed her finding friends in Nonna and Valentina. She deserved that after the life she led. Nonna was such an awesome character!
I received a free copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved getting a glimpse back into the world of Featherstone. Wren was a character we hated in the previous books of the Featherstone Academy series. I didn’t think she could be redeemed but in Redemption we get to see more into her mind and why she was like she was.
Wren’s brought in to help Luna and to work on her redemption. She’s told to make contact with the De Lucas. Matteo, Vito and Enzo. Italian mobsters set on revenge for the death of Totem. When they learn that it was Wren that killed him, her own father they take her with them to Italy. Now that they have her they have to figure out what to do with her. Kill her, protect her or fall in love with her.
Wren didn’t expect meeting these sexy brothers would be life changing. Finding men that take her as she is and they don’t want to change her. Finding a loving and caring family she never had before. She’s got to adapt to her new surroundings and accept help when it’s offered freely.
You’ll love the action, the steam and everything in between!
Wren, Wren, Wren. What can I say about you beyond the fact that going into this book I mostly hated you, anyone who has read the first books in the Featherstone Academy series would feel the same. There is a single redeeming event, but honestly that just left me way more confused over anything else. I mostly just couldn’t stand her face.
That was my opinion of her going into this & I have to say that I absolutely love Wren now. This book is appropriately titled Redemption and she has absolutely redeemed herself.
The De Luca brothers, Matteo, Vito & Enzo are all something else. I love these men and they are so perfect for Wren and exactly what this girl needs. Not to mention the fact that KC Kean has me falling in love with Nonna & Valentina. I absolutely vote that we get Valentina’s book at some point! I love that girl!
One of my favorite things is when there is a shared world, when there books written for side characters, the continuation, the cross over, the whole getting a different side of a story/world you've fallen in love with. Wren was.....hard to like in the original Featherstone story. But I think this story goes to show, you never know why someone is the way they are, you don't know what's going on behind closed doors, why someone may be acting the way they are.
I figured we'd end up liking her and understanding her. The title is perfection. Wren really did get her redemption. We saw the other side of her, the reason why she was the way she was and everything falls into place. You also get to see your girls Luna and Jess.
The boys complimented the story so well. The plot was so good. The spice was so spice. I can't get enough of this world. It's just all done so incredibly well. KC Kean is an evil genius. I'm tellin' ya.
Wow… just wow, I didn’t know what to expect or think going into Redemption but my gosh, I’m glad I kept my mind open.
In the Featherstone Universe this follows roughly 6ish months after the end of Luna’s story, although we don’t get in-depth insight into what those months consist of we get enough knowledge about them.
If you go into this thinking Wren can do nothing right, well you’ll be in for a surprise! Her character growth is phenomenally written and it’s also stated as to why she did what she did… I cried for Wren - not something I often do!
The De Luca brothers? Oh my drool they give the Aceholes a run for their money, protective, a little enemies to lovers, a whole lot of angst and soo many moments to make you laugh, grumble and cuss them out. I won’t go into too much depth!
Redemption is high heat, quick burn with lots and lots of angst! The perfect book all around!
Yesss, so happy we got into the psyche of a villianous character (I didn't much like) from Luna's story of the Featherstone Academy series. As the title states, this is a redemption story and damn did KC Kean deliver with Wren. I absolutely love her now.
This story starts off with a mission. A mission to gain attention from three Italian, dashing, and brutal men. Matteo, Vito, and Enzo are hot, commanding, loyal, and revengeful. With their presence, we get to see Wren question herself multiple times. I was here for all the angst and steam these four brought.
Overall, expect one sleeper cell of a FMC, Italian Mafia, action, violence, multiple POVs, ultimate sass, key Featherstone characters, and much more.
Also, two things. Firstly, I adored the buffers between Wren and the guys that came in the names of Nonna & Valentina. Secondly, are we getting a Rio & Valentina story?? I caught that mention of a lingering look 👀.
Highly, highly recommend if you've read the first 5 books in this world.
I’m not sure how you’ve done this, KC, but suddenly I love the villain.
And let me tell you, I absolutely HATED Wren when reading Luna and Red’s books.
We dive right into Wren’s story in this book, without a whole lot of context for what is going on. I love that we figure out her backstory throughout the book - the way it puzzles together is honestly amazing.
Her three men, BROTHERS MAY I TELL YOU, are smokin’, and soooo different than any others she has written. They come with their own baggage and stories, and the way it connects in with Wren is perfect.
One thing I love about the way KC has written Wren is her strength. In the past, we always see Wren as kinda whiny and weak, but in this book she really brings out her true self. She honestly is inching towards the top of my list, which I never would have thought possible.
AND THAT NOT REALLY A CLIFFHANGER BUT ALSO MEAN WAY TO END THE BOOK. Literally can’t wait for what is next!!
I'm pretty sure we all despised Wren in Featherstone Academy, but I personally was anxiously waiting for her story. And let me just tell you this book did not disappoint.Talk about character redemption!! We finally get to see the real Wren and what makes her the bad ass bitch we all loved to hate. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but girl, she's a solid firm favorite for me now. Then don't get me started on those Italian DeLuca brothers 🥵 This book had all the angst, twists and turns and just the right amount of heat .I highly recommend this book and can't wait to see what's next
Featherstone is one of my all time favorite series, so needless to say I was super excited to dive back into this book. And while this book didn’t have the same magic for me that the other five books did, it was a still an entertaining read.
For me personally, I often don’t feel as much of an attachment to a why choose story when there is only one book, so I think that was the case here. I did really like the characters, as well as the side characters- Nonna and Valentina are fantastic- but I didn’t get a chance to really get hooked on them like I did with the rest of the Featherstone crew.
That said, it was still a great storyline and it made me happy to see the rest of the beloved characters from this world, so I definitely enjoyed the book. Also, we are left with an opening for the next book by this author which I am really looking forward to.
