Karen Kilpatrick pleasantly surprised me with her Nobody Likes Bedtime story. At first, I thought it was going to be about the main character complaining about not wanting to go to bed, which I felt would get old fast. However, that isn't what happened. Yes, the main character was listing all these reasons why people do not like bed time, but her "monsters" would counter with real, necessary facts to consider.

I loved the balance of the book. It was a surprise, and I was thrilled to have seen all this in a book. I think there are plenty of facts in here that littles not only need to hear, but the adults that could be reading this book to them as well. It was a great reminder on why sleep was important, and it was an all around fun book to read too.

Helping us love bedtime!

We love this book and hopefully we will now start to love bedtime, too!
The monsters are cute and I like that they are friendly and remind the girl about all the good things about bedtime and sleep. I think (and hope) this will help my daughter like bedtime more and have positive (and not scary) associations.
We love the other books in this series, but this one is the most helpful for the bedtime routine, and I'm sure will quickly become a favorite!

Nobody Likes Bedtime

This book was a very good book. My kids loved it and they can relate to this character. They never want to go to bed and sleep and come up with stories on why they need to stay awake. Now after reading this book they actually will go to bed. My youngest thinks its cool that your body heals yourself while your asleep and that it grows.

I would definitely recommend this book to family and friends.

Make bedtime fun!

Reading this book is like reading the daily conversation with my daughter but with characters that she will love! I can’t wait to read it with her. For all the parents with the kids with all the excuses, highly recommend!
