Pepper Reign is losing her power. That's right. If she can't get it back, then she will no longer be a witch.
But there is a chance at regaining her magic. Wells Morgan, an eccentric dragon keeper, may hold the key to helping her. But is Pepper willing to pay the cost for keeping her power?
A better question--is Magnolia Cove willing to pay that cost?
Hey, I’m Amy, I write books for folks who crave laugh-out-loud paranormal mysteries. I help bring humor into readers’ lives. I’ve got a Pharm D in pharmacy, a BA in Creative Writing and a Masters in Life. And when I’m not writing or chasing around two small children (one of which is four going on thirteen), I can be found antique shopping for a great deal, getting my roots touched up (because that’s an every four week job) and figuring out when I can get back to Disney World. If you’re dying to know more about my wacky life, here are three things you don’t know about me. —In college I spent a semester at Marvel Comics working in the X-Men office. —I worked at Carnegie Hall. —I grew up in a barbecue restaurant—literally. My parents owned one. If you want to reach out to me—and I love to hear from readers—you can email me at amyboylesauthor@gmail.com. Happy reading!
I think this was my least favorite book I’ve read in this series so far. I really dislike how it was both Betty and Pepper who are losing their magic. I feel like it would have been better if it was just Betty and she was the one who lost her goodness and Pepper and Gizzy are chasing her all over town to fix what ever Betty wickedly does to other people and honestly the crap with the mayor just seemed out of place. I really struggled with the this book and there was no murder to solve at all. With the cliff hanger of Wells Morgan being murdered gives me hope with book 27 but I’m not holding my breath.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others in this series. Both Pepper and Betty are acting out of character. There are a couple of plots going on, but a lot of the excitement is missing. The book did end on a cliff hanger, so maybe this will be resolved in the next book.
Seriously. Do authors not have proof readers? Editors? I've read all the books in this series, I've grown attached to the characters, but the amount of typos is ridiculous. Entire words just...missing. "You're" instead of " your". It's sad books with that many errors get published.
This was hugely enjoyable. The results, or price, if the stone saving Pepper and Betty from disappearing were felt by the whole town of Magical Magnolia Grove.
The cliff hanger was interesting. Now I can't wait to find out who the murderer us, and if the missing goodness can be reclaimed.
This is a different side to Pepper but it’s an exciting difference. Not one I would like to see much more often but highly recommend this one to anyone who likes a great bad/good witch story
Another solid entry in this series. These are great for when I’m in the mood for something quick and easy, and they are free with Kindle Unlimited. They always end on a cliff hanger, so I HAVE to read the next one.
This book was a lot more disturbing than I thought it would be. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but to quote Glinda from The Wizard of Oz, "are you a good witch or a bad witch?"
It's a very interesting and emotional experience and finding out when you lose something that it changes you sometimes for the better and sometimes not and when family and friends tell you something not right with you take stock of what they say.
I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. What a great story. The adventures of Pepper, Alex and Betty never get old. Can't wait to read the next book
This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
Not my favorite. I actually thought of going to the end, but kept on. Feel a bit depressed by the shenanigans that occurred. Hopefully next book will revive me.
