Megyn Ward has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Danika and Landon. Danika is an actress in a soap opera and Landon is a movie star. The exec are not happy with Landon's latest movie. They tell him that the women don't like him anymore. They say he is unapproachable and inaccessible and it seems like he is hiding something. Since his wife Rachel died, he has only had one-night stands. He has a daughter, Cassie that his brother, Lex watches for him. Lex's girlfriend, Ella is Cassie's homeschool teacher. Landon has just been told that he needs to find a girlfriend for a few months and Anita doesn't care who the woman is as long as he doesn't have to pay for her. Landon goes to talk to his brother Lex about asking Ella to help him out but he doesn't get the answer from Lex he wants. Lex tells him that it would be up to Ella but he doesn't think she would do it. Ella has Cassie at the beach house and that is where Landon heads off to. Danika has been out in the sun with Ella and they have been talking about what she is going to do since her job is ending. Danika asked Ella where the bathroom is but she goes to the wrong one and this is where Landon finds her. He is upset because she is in his wife's bedroom. Landon tells her to leave without asking any questions. After Danika leaves, Cassie gets upset with Landon since he made her new friend leave. Landon talks with Ella about being his fake girlfriend for a few months but she tells him "No." He should talk to Danika since she would be perfect for it. Landon goes to see Danika and things are not going the way he wants. He blackmails her into doing what he wants. The more time that Landon spends with Danika, the more he likes her but he is still not over his wife Rachel. Things with Julia are heating up and she gives Landon a few things to think about. Either he drops Danika or she will tell sell her story about what really happened to his wife. When Landon tells Danika what he is going to do, she walks away from him. She gets a call from Landon's assistant and asked to meet with her. What Danika finds out is some good luck for her. It is something about Julia and she can use it against her so that she drops the telling of the story about Rachel. Landon and Danika are to have dinner at a restaurant and he invites Julia to meet him there. When Julia gets there, she is upset that Danika is there. Danika lets her know what she knows about her. Danika tells her that something has already hit the news about her and her husband and if she doesn't drop the story more will be released.
Will Danika and Landon work things out and stay together, or will Danika walk away?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Notes/Opinion (personal):
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It was a bit of a slow burn for the first half then a total explosion the second half. I felt the first half (the slow burn) was one story and the second half focused on a lot of sex and the relationship and the struggle of the MMC got lost. Despite the HEA, I felt we didn’t get a full story from the MFC’s side – it just seemed to end, nor was there anything from the MMC to the MFC to fully explain his past – just a rush to the HEA and the epilogue.

The story flowed, which kept me reading but in the end, I felt a bit rushed to the ending leaving me with some questions that I felt were left hanging.

I was waiting 2 years for Mr. Right to be published and finally the moment it showed on my kindle I downloaded it straight away. What can I say I loved Landon and Danika and I read the book at least 3 times since. I honestly can say that was beyond my emagination and I love every part of the story.

Landon is famous actor who let's say is not very nice to people and his agent tells him that he needs to change his public image to a Prince Charming again. After he meets Danika in a very awkward situation who also is an actress but she has an enemy who wants to destroy her career, Landon decides to offer her a deal , he is going to give her a leading role in his next movie and he is going to help her with her problem if she agrees to pretend to be his girlfriend. Here the interest part starts, while the story evolve you start to understand why he is acting like he is. The passion between the two characters is incredibly hot, they just complete each other on any level(those parts of the story I read at least 5 times 😉)

I can't wait for the next book of this author and I hope is not going to be another 2 years but either way I will read it as soon as I can.

Danica and Landon had one of the worst first impressions you could possibly have, but their connection from the start was clear. Even through the snark and sass, it was clear that there was something between them. The sexual tension between them just amped up and up with each interaction.

Landon's little girl was absolutely adorable and I couldn't help but smile when she was around. My heart broke when she talked of missing her mom.

Add in the drama from jealous coworkers, and you've got one hell of a bumpy ride. I loved how they fought back to back for each other and refused to give up on what they had. They worked together and showed how much they love each other.

The side characters were awesome in the way they supported both Danica and Landon. Lex and Elle were brilliant and Killian definitely intrigued me. I hope we get to see his story soon. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us and him.

Fake relationship meets grumpy-sunshine, in book two in the Hollywood Knights world we fell in love with in Mr. Wrong, and the love fest continues. Steamy, with a bit of angst, a bit of intrigue, tons of heart, and a total tease for side character spinoffs that I am already lobbying for.

I recommend this book, which is a complete story and can be read on its own but is, I think, best enjoyed in order.

Where do i start this book had me hooked from page one and i could not put it down.
A really fantastic read with amazing characters.Loved both the main characters.Dani and Landon just draw you into their emotional rollercoaster of a fake relationship.
Cassie Landon's daughter is so adorable.The emotions were high,but there were so many laugh out loud moments.
Their fake relationship becomes very real for them both,but they both try to deny it for as long as they can.
The story had everything you need,lots of secrets,angst,emotional pasts,laughter,tears,lots of steamy moments and of course how can i forget the happily ever after.
I want to read the first book in the series and cannot wait to read the next book in the series😁.

Danika and Landon are both in the acting business and when it seems like both are their careers are on a downward slide Things get bad for them. Danika is fired from her show because another actress wants her gone and the actress trashes her in the industry. Landon isn't seen as America's prince since his wife passed away and people want to see him move on. After a misunderstanding Landon turns to Danika for help. However, what started as fake quickly becomes real between them. Can they find a way to be together? Will a rival continue to cause problems for them?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

OMG! I couldn’t put the book down. Was late for work for over sleeping but I’m not sorry! Because it was worth IT!
Danika and Landon were incredible once they stopped trying to put up walls. I mean I get it, fake it till you make can only get you so far. But when fake blurs you get laugh-out-loud moments, all the feels, good and bad and the most adorable kid with a creative potty mouth.
It twisted and turned it made me mad, men I swear, then happy then when you think things can’t keep pulling at your heart strings boom, Megyn’s like not finished yet.
It was HOT, it was FAKE (the relationship not the amazing story) and it was romantic. With an HEA that was well earned and deserved for Danika, Landon, and Cassie.

Hollywood romance would usually be near the end of my tbr pile, but Mr. Right is the exception to my rule. Thankful for a writer who can create a strong female lead who's completely likable and capable. And doesn't wait around to be saved. As well as an alpha male who doesn't have to prove he is by only being a jerk.

There's nothing worse for me than a story without chemistry or if it's too forced. From the very beginning Landon & Danika shoot sparks. And even being in (imho) a rather icky profession, both are charming and relatable. Being able to feel invested in cheering them on made the book go even faster.

And that's really my only complaint - that I couldn't put it down and finished too soon.

How have I not known about this series. After I read this book I immediately downloaded book one “Mr. Wrong” because I wanted more of this series. Reading out of order did not hinder my enjoyment of this book. We have Landon the widowed Hollywood mega star who needs an image makeover and Dani a soap star who is suddenly in jeopardy of losing her career. Enter the fake relationship, with instant chemistry, grumpy widow who refuses to entertain the idea of love, a soap icon villian determined to ruin both Landon and Dani’s careers and a cast of supporting characters that all need their own books. I couldn’t put this book down. I was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed every minute.

Mr. Right: A Hot, Fake relationship, Single Dad, Hollywood Romance: Book 2 of Hollywood Knights was a great, enjoyable story. Landon is a after who’s getting a bad reputation. He needs Danika to be his “fake” girlfriend so that she can help his image. Danika is in a bit of a pickle herself after having issues at the soap opera she worked at. They really need each other. But you know what happens when a fake relationship is involved, feeling always get real. This has a great storyline and lovable characters. It Carrie’s over from book 1 but you can read it even if you haven’t read book 1 I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved "Mr. Right". It was hot, emotional and well written.
I liked everything about the plot, the MC (even though the hero was a little worth hitting sometimes), the secondary characters, the plot and the ending.
There was no much angst and no extra stupid misunderstandings.
However, with books, the writing is always the most important thing and in this case i loved it. I also like a lot when an author gives overlapping pov (but different without repeating) as in this case.
Well done. I will definitely read more from Megyn Ward.

Once again Megyn Ward does not disappoint!!

WOW! What else can I say, but wow. What an amazing read. I've been patiently waiting for Mr. Right to come out ever since reading Mr. Wrong and it was well worth the wait. I knew from Mr. Wrong I was going to love Landon and Dani's story and boy did I ever. From the wonderfully written characters and plot to the H.O.T steamy goodness, I couldn't seem to put this book down. Between the giddiness I felt while reading, the laughter, and even several tears, this book is what I deem the perfect trifecta. Any book were I experience all the feels is definitely on my list of top favorites.

Ward hits Home Run with follow up to Mr. Wrong!!!

Megyn Ward hits it out of the park with her follow up to Mr. Wrong. Following the story of Landon and Danika, you're swept up into the cat and mouse relationship between these would be lovers as they have many tension filled will they or won't they moments as it turns into a steamy and passionate love affair. Along for the ride are Lex and Elle from Mr. Wrong as well as London's daughter, Cassie, and many others that are set to have their own stories (At least we hope they will.) The suspense and the witty banter keeps you hooked until the end too. Great read and will be waiting the authors next book.

All the tropes …in a hot package

In all honesty, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this much as I did. I’m picking up the rest of the series as we speak.

He’s a cold as ice Hollywood heart-throb that needs a fake relationship to reignite his career. She made the mistake of outing one of her co-stars husband as a sex pest and is fighting to save her career. Can a fake relationship help them both? And will they manage to keep it fake?

This is Landon's story. I loved Landon and Danika. Just like all of Megyn's story she has a way that the story just flows perfectly and I just keep turning the pages getting lost in the storyline. Landon sexy, protective, kinda of a alphahole mega actor in need of help and has to find someone to be in a fake relationship. Danika is a strong but sometimes a little fragile struggling actress about to be blackballed. A misunderstanding and a few tabloid pictures has these two entering into a fake relationship. Loved the story and wonderful characters. Look forward to more stories from this author.

The not really clean Hollywood's secrets

It's a very good romance, all betrayals, lies, pretenses, and despite that torrid, which develops between Danika, a young B actress who risks having her career cut from under her feet, and Landon, a famous actor, widower, single father, but falling in popularity with young women, therefore his fans. Both therefore have a perfect contract for a false relationship of which they would both be beneficiaries.
Their romance is both tender, torrid, well written, full of twists and moving in a Hollywood that is not always very tender and which presses where it hurts.

This is a new to me author . Mr Right is the second book in Hollywood Knight series but can be read as standalone. Not having read the first book I was still able to follow and enjoy the story. I do plan to read the first book in this series. This story checks all the boxes for what I look for in a good romance . It was unputdownable . I loved both Landon and Danika's characters . This might be the first book I am reading Ms Ward but wont be the last. She is a hidden gem and is going in the list of authors I dont any books from. If you havent read books by Ms Ward than I highly recommend you check out this hidden gem. Highly recommend this book.

Danika ends up in the crosshairs of a powerful costar after the woman’s husband is inappropriate. Landon needs a temporary girlfriend and bribes and threatens Danika into doing it to fix both of their problems. He is the reigning king of mixed signals and indecision. He is also a reigning king of Hollywood as well as an absent single dad. His backstory ends up being very sad. Everyone believes in the fairy tale that has been presented. I could have done without all the sleazy side characters. I am glad there is some justice.

The right moment for them both

Both Landon and Danika have serious baggage. It is harder for her then him to fall, but he feels so guilty he has to pretend. Not cookie cutter characters or the typical fake dating trope. As always, Megyn Ward layers in a multitude of past experiences into her characters to make them believable, infuriating, lovable and make their story feel like their love for each other came at just the right time.
The author never gives her characters or readers an easy pass but gives a story that is worth the effort.
I couldn't put this book down and know I will read it often because these characters are the good stuff of life.

I really liked Danika and how she is such an independent young woman who wants to make it on her own. I wasn't sure about Landon but it turns out that he is fighting so many demons but you can see him become quite the heartthrob as time goes on. The chemistry between Danika and Landon is sizzling, and they make me laugh. I especially adored Cassie and she makes me giggle with what comes out of her mouth. I found this book fun, steamy and entertaining.

I read Mr. Wrong by this author some time back so when I saw this book, Mr. Right I had to read it. This story follows Landon and Danika. There’s a lot of push/pull between the but not in a repetitive boring kinda way. The story is intense at times and it was quite enjoyable reading about their steamy and passionate love affair. Lex and Elle from Mr. Wrong join in at times making the read even more entertaining.

I have just finished my ARC copy of this book. And what can I say. I bloody loved it.

Landon and Dani’s story was a whirlwind and I really enjoyed reading their journey.

Love the way the characters interlink between books but it can be read as a stand-alone.
I haven’t yet read the first book in this series and this did not spoil reading Mr Right at all.

Can’t wait for more on the other characters.

Loved it! Loved the story. The characters. The vulnerability of the leads. The writing. I enjoyed the plot and climax. It built and played out as it should. I 100% enjoyed it all. I thought the title should have been, “This is Real.” Short review because there not much to say other than read the book that gave me warm fuzzies!

I adored this story! Landon was really swoon-worthy and Danika was spunky and sassy! The two are good together as a couple, but add in Cassie (Landon's daughter) and it's perfection!
