This was a single mom bad boy sports romance.
Olivia is a nurse assistant for the Falls Creek Falcons hockey club. She has a six year old daughter Eve who is the center of her life. She does not date and rarely leaves her daughter with a sitter.
Kane The King Davidson was banned from the ice for six months because of his violent conduct. His coach tells him he has to clean up his act and change his attitude if he wants to play on the team.
They meet at a team awards event. Olivia's best friend Maya is dating Axel the team captain and strongly encouraged Olivia to enjoy herself and find a hookup. Kane pursued Olivia and they spend the night at his place. He fell in love at first sight but does not want to spook her. She panics the next morning and tells him they can't date. He managed to get under her guard with the help of his nephew and they get their HEA.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. There is maximum enjoyment if read as a series. This book is about hockey player Kane. He’s mean, violent and benched quite often due to that. He spots Olivia at a party that he did not even want to go to. Once he sees her though, he knows that he has to claim her. Olivia is a single mother who is going out on a rare night when her eyes lock with Kane’s. They both feel the chemistry but Olivia is reluctant to take a chance on her heart.
This book was such a terrific read! It can easily be read in one sitting. There is some steam, which I enjoyed. I cannot wait for the next book in the series!.

Kane is a hockey player, and he has been sidelined because of his behavior. At a party he sees Olivia and is drawn to her. Olivia is a single mom and is out with friends on a rare night that she did agree to come out. Sparks fly between them. Kane wants both Olivia and her daughter. He isn't going to pull away because she's a single mom. Will she give him a chance? Can they get their happy ending?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

The author has given us a wonderful older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Bennett, Laura and her young brother, Benji. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, fear, danger and steam.

This was a great read. Kane and Olivia’s story will have you hooked from the beginning. Kane may be the bad guy but in the end he was the good guy

Kane & Olivia are a match right from the start, wether they want to admit it or not! I was happy Olivia finally gave in and let herself live a little. I wasn’t sure how to feel about Kane at first but I quickly began to love him as the story progressed. I love that no matter what he wasn’t giving up on Olivia. Definitely a good addition to the series!
