After apartment hunting for months, I found the BEST place—a sweet guest house on Sherman Properties. The thing is huge and secluded, perfect for parading in my underwear and working on my music.
Problem? Well… apparently I’m not the only one who was promised this guest house. Now I’ve got an annoying AF cowboy battling for the same space. Forget the fact he’s the most beautiful man alive. I was here first!
We’ve got one month to decide who wins the house and its very reasonable rent, and there’s no way in hell I’m going to lose it, even if he makes me laugh and his arms are super yum and he’s probably the smartest person I’ve ever met. Nope. Let the battle begin.
CASSIE MAE is the author of a few hundred—okay, maybe not that many—books, some of which became popular for their quirky titles, characters, and stories. She likes writing about nerds, geeks, the awkward, the fluffy, the short, the shy, the loud, the fun.
Since publishing her bestselling debut, Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend, she’s signed several Romance titles with Random House Loveswept, and founded CookieLynn Publishing Services. She is represented by Sharon Pelletier at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management.

I was so excited to finally get to read Aislynn and Luke's love story!! It was exactly what I was hoping for and I loved it! I loved that even though they started out as "enemies" Luke wasn't afraid of his feelings nor did he try to fight them. Aislynn was a little immature at times but I think Luke being older and more mature helped her grow. It's a wonderfully sweet romance with a little bit of heartbreak. I always know I'll get all the feels from a Cassie Mae book and this was no exception. Thank you Cassie for another wonderful story!
I devoured this book in one sitting! This series just keeps getting better with each book, I can’t recommend it enough.
Everything here is done so well, the characters are an instant hit as you can’t help but just love each of the main characters so much. Aislynn is so lovable and sweet with her eyes set on her dream, I couldn’t help but root for her. And Luke? Oh god Luke, I adored him from the glimpses we got in both of the previous books but fell head over heels for him in this book. He was just an incredible character, strong, a kind soul and of course the s3xy dreamy cowboy!
I had so many emotions while reading this book that I wish I could go back and and read it for the first time, I loved it that much!
So this was my first read from this author, safe to say it will not be my last. Laugh out loud romantic comedy, funny characters, touching story. I loved it all. Off to find me some more troublemaker stories!.

Aislynn and Lukes story is funny, heartbreaking and well won.
She is following her dreams while dealing with doubtful parents. He's dealing with having to make a big heartbreaking decision. Their banter and chemistry is fantastic even with the communication barriers.
I highly recommend if you are looking for a no heat but crazy chemistry read.
I love the Troublemakers, and Luke and Ainsley's story is a wonderful addition to the series. Aislynn can be a bit much, but she quickly stole the part of my heart that wasn't solidly in Luke's corner already. I loved how Aislynn and Luke grew close and truly brought out the best in each other. Once again, Cassie Mae delivered a tale that gave me all the feels: from giggles to outright snort-laughs to swoons to breaking my heart and making me cry.
And here's (one of the reasons) why I love this series so much:
“You want to make your own decisions. I wouldn’t dream of telling you what to do. I just came here to tell you that you have options.” My heart flies straight from my chest and lands in those wonderfully gentle hands of his, and he can have it for the rest of my days.
I enjoyed this book more than i thought i would. It had great characters, supporting characters.an adorable puppy and an amazing storyline. It was a slow burn romantic comedy with some tears too. I don't want to say too much as i don't want to spoil anything. Luke and Aislynn end up renting the same house because of a mix-up and they both don't want to leave so the war begins. Slowly they both start to get feelings for each other, but they don't admit to them. The war to win the house continues but what will happen when feelings get involved? If you enjoy sweet small town romances with lots of banter, pranks, emotions and a happily ever after this is the book for you. Love Cassie Mae's books, very highly reccomend.

Every Cassie book is just a delight to me. I started this book sunday night, thinking I was just going to read a little bit before bed.... fastforward to 4.3oh in the morning... that's when I went to sleep, after finishing it. There's this thing with Cassie's books, characters and story lines that keeps you hooked and you wont be able to stop reading.
When I saw the story was about Luke, I was worried that the fact he is deaf would make it "weird" in the dialogues, but boy was I wrong. The dialogues are funny, witty, and incredibly sexy. Miss Aislynn is just awesome. I love her and her sassyness.
This book is on my top 5 by Cassie Mae, for sure.
P.S: If you love a enemies to lovers story, you will freaking love it.
This is the 3rd book in the Troublemakers series, and I loved it. I fell in love with these characters in the first book, and loved that I got to continue seeing them throughout. Aislynn is this determined woman. She left her parents house set to make a career of her love of singing and song writing. And Luke, he’s been deaf since he was a child, but he hasn’t let that stop him. With a mix up has theM living together, hilarity ensues. This book, I was instantly drawn into the story, and these characters lives. But, it also have me dang near crying. With everything Luke deals with, with his mom.. it just brought up memories of me losing mine a few years ago. I absolutely loved this book, and can’t wait for the next in this series. Definitely recommend!
There are not enough words to describe how much I love this book! I am so grateful that I was given an ARC copy. I enjoyed the tension between Aislynn and Luke and their banter and antics kept me laughing. With Luke being deaf, it definitely opened my eyes more to be able to see certain challenges from his perspective. I loved that both Aislynn and Luke each had their own little quirks, it made me fall in love with their characters. While I had a lot of laughs, there were also parts of the book that had me reaching for the kleenex. But, I was smiling again before too long, as I watched the love Aislynn and Luke had for each other begin to develop and grow over time, so that they became more than just enemies. I highly recommend this book!
Luke is the strong silent one. His life has been hard but you wouldn't know it by his heart. He's one of the good ones. Loves his family, tries to please everyone in his path and even likes the disturbance of Aislynn.
Aislynn, the spoiled girl who just wants to live her life on her own terms. Wealthy parents who show her their disappointment in her at every turn I stead of encouraging her reach her dreams, live her life. She learned that from Luke.
The man frustrates her and for once in her life she gives up everything for him, until he turns her right around and shows her that he wants her to live her life on her terms.
This was my favorite of the troublemaker series. Absolutely perfect.
Cute, cute, and more cute! The story of Luke and Aislynn is charming, wholesome, and sweet. Their friend Candace has promised them both a house to rent while Luke works at a farm in Indiana and Aislynn tries to make it in the music world. Aislynn becomes someone Luke can count on for safety, companionship, then friendship and romance. There is a period of separation, however, a happy ending :)
I received this as a free ARC.
***SPOILER ALERT BELOW***
The part where Luke and Aislynn almost kiss while they are under a phantom mare they were getting horse Casper to jerk off to was NOT my idea of romantic.
This book was so fun. Very realistic, I loved the twist found on the Hero. I was not expecting that! It was such a nice change, from perfect, yet he was still such a wonderful character. I really enjoyed the banter, and the one-up-manship between the two in the beginning. I felt horrible for Aislynn and the way her parents made her feel like she wasn’t a success. I loved Luke, what a guy, gooey and strong all at once. Highly recommend. This author gives you the feels. I received an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Aislynn and Luke. She's a young woman that is trying to find herself. She ends up at a friend's guest house. But to her surprise, Luke, the sexy cowboy is also staying there. Unfortunately they have a language barrier, he's deaf. Luckily they work together too figure it out. But when tragedy strikes, she's there when he needs her most.

Cowboy Luke and Aislynn both expected to move into an amazing guest house. Neither knew the other also had plans to move in. They were given a month to work out who would get the lease. Despite the turmoil trying to claim this ideal space with reasonable rent and wonderful privacy, each of them still seemed to bring out the best in each other. There were some quote-worthy lines in the dialog, and loving these characters was definitely not difficult. Grab your copy and chuckle along as they battle each other to prevail. Will they finally get what they want? (wink)
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The third book in the Troublemaker series is about Aislynn and Luke. Sharing a rental has never been so fun. While it has its share of laughter, fighting attractions and conflict, it also is heartfelt in several ways. I really liked Luke's character and the way the two interacted. They both ended up finding something that neither expected.
This is the third book in this series, and this is Luke and Aislynn’s journey. This is a well written story which is a fun read, with humor, witty banter, emotions, heartbreak romance, intrigue, twists, realistic and relatable characters, family, friendships, and love, which leads to an entertaining and addictive page tuner. I’m still in the process of reading this one, but it’s really good so far. I love how the characters blended together so well, the book is really well written and put together very well. I can’t wait to see how this one ends.

A fun lol romantic comedy. I loved how the storyline flowed and the antics of the main characters to one up each other. The whole trying drive the other crazy had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. A relaxing book. * I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review.
A sweet romance story between Luke and Aislynn. They both want the same house and end up making a deal to see who wins it. In the process they get to know each other better. Just like all the Troublemaker series books, I enjoyed this one’s storyline.
Probably my favorite. There was not as much swearing. There was a borderline scene but nothing happened. The emotion and "grinding"' was enough. The rest of it was great. Storyline and I loved the signing.
Another super good book by this author! I really love this series and the third book was as good, funny and cute as the other two. It gave me all the feels!
this book was wonderful. Luke and Aislynn were made for each other. I saw another review mention Aislynn being a little immature and I would defiantly agree with this but in the end she came through and made a hard decision.
I feel for Aislynn she really wants to make her parents proud but follow her dreams doing it and its sad that they will not support her in this. Luke is so supportive of her even when they were 'enemies' he was still in awe of her talent.
This book was absolutely amazing in every possible way because the characters are wonderful! I read this book all in one sitting and it made me smile so hard!
