This book is exactly what the title says: the ART and MAKING OF Hogwarts Legacy. It contains beautiful art works of the game with tons of information that comes with it.
If you're a Potterhead and a huge fan of this game, this book can not be missed in your collection :).

Some spectacular art in this book. However, like the game, it does suffer a bit from tokenism/wokeness. Stop shoving in other cultures into 1800’s Europe. Britan was pretty homogenous at the time, and when you make the Wizarding World in the 1890’s more ”diverse” than Harry Potters time in the 1900’s, you are doing it wrong. More than 70 percent of the teachers, vendors and side characters are not British/European. Makes no sense.

Beautiful artwork, it is a lovely thing to behold. I found it interesting the process that they followed to produce the story for the game, and things that didn't make the cut. I did find some bits a little repetitive, especially the frequent mentions of how hard it was. I get it, a game is difficult to create, can you show me why rather than just telling me? That's me being picky though. A good book, even if you haven't played the game yet (I've watched someone else play), as it doesn't give major spoilers.

This is one of those books I will keep going back to over an over again! The artwork is beautiful and it is so interesting to read about everything that went into this game and learn more about the behind the scenes, this is one of my favourite games of all time and I love how this book dives into the ins and outs of the game as well as showing concept art and in game renders that are fascinating to look at!

In 50 years time, someone will se me taking my ancient PS5 from the closet in order to play Hogwarts Legacy yet again, and they'll ask me: ''After all this time?'', and I'll say: ''Always.''.
