I enjoyed the fast paced plot, however it was so short that it seemed to miss most of a good base storyline. The plot was there but could have been expanded upon for more context to make it flow easier.
But otherwise a good, short, age gap relationship read.
I’d have rated higher but it threw me how the characters said they loved each other after one night together. It made the story seem very unrealistic.

Absolutely loved the newest book in the Stranded at Christmas series. Travis and Gabrielle have the greatest holiday happily ever after. Their story was original and full of chemistry. I'm such a huge fan of every book this author writes.

This short holiday romance is everything you need to transport you away when the holidays have you stressed. Gabi will make you think of the normal girl next door and Travis is a grumpy older man who does not believe in love at first sight. I fell in love with all of them and love Snowflake Falls anyway. I cannot wait to see if there will be more set in this world.

Cute but lacked flow

Who doesn’t love a hot shot of insta-love romance to warm you up on a cold winter’s night? As an added bonus with this story we also get a forced proximity, road trip, stranded in a snow-storm goodness to go along with the dad’s best friend trope. Gimme.
This story started off well - cute and fun as we set the scene of our 20 year old desperate to get home for her dad’s birthday. But a snowstorm has just struck so it’s up to her dad’s best friend to get her over the mountain and to town. Only her dad’s best friend isn’t the crusty, old dude she’s been expecting. Nope - he’s a hot 40 something, grumpy billionaire who’s doing a spot of mountain man living.
Gabi is a likeable character if perhaps having few outstanding characteristics that would make her shine. Travis (why do I have such problems with that name?) seesaws between being a grumpy “I will not interact with you” guy, to a smiley, laughing suitor. I didn’t dislike him but if he was giving me those kind of mixed messages, I certainly wouldn’t be chasing after him. But that’s neither here nor there…
My interest started to wane as I felt it was us, the readers, that were stranded, rather than our couple. It actually took until 55% for the pair to reach Travis’s house and be stranded there. They weren’t really stranded either and easily got from his cabin to her father’s party the next morning. I’m happy to suspend belief in this type of story, but I WANT them to be stuck and far away from the world for a few days. It was a wee bit disappointing, to be honest.
I also didn’t much feel a connection between our pair and certainly not the angst and yearning I would expect to feel with the young girl lusting after her dad’s best friend and the dad’s best friend trying to keep his distance from the young woman half his age. The sex was fun (the sex in the epilogue was definitely the best in that regard) but nowhere near as saucy as I’d anticipated.
Just as things started to look up and I was ready for a showdown between the father and his best friend and daughter - the book ended. We did get an epilogue for a couple of years later but nothing much had changed in their lives and the relationship with the father was glossed over fairly quickly.
This wasn’t a bad book and you definitely get what you came for. I just wish that the faff at the start could’ve been majorly cut and we could have spent some more time with our couple lusting, liking and getting to know each other some more. It would’ve made the declarations a bit more credible. Not my fave so only 3 stars for me.

Gabi is returning to Snowflake falls for her father’s fiftith birthday, arriving in what looks to be a severe snow storm, arriving in time for the party is looking less and less likely by the minute. That’s when Travis arrives, her dad's best friend whom up until now she hasn't seen in years. Her attraction to him is immediate but he seems determined to ignore the chemistry between them. However, when they decide to persevere with the journey, they end up stranded and needing to spend the night in Travis’s cabin. Gabi knows what she wants, and she lets Travis know that what she wants is him. Will Gabi be able to convince Travis to risk it all for love?
Travis wasn’t expecting the woman that his best friend has sent him to pick up, having never met Gabi before he is blown away by her beauty and how possessive he feels about her. So, when they are trapped by the snow fall on the way to Snowflake Falls, he knows that his feelings are going to be hard to hide from but getting her to safety is the most important thing. He tries to fight the feelings, but she is too much of a temptation and he finally gives in to what she makes him feel but the morning after brings feelings of guilt, and he knows that that night is all it can ever be, he is twenty years older than her and she is just starting out in life. Will Travis really be able to walk away from his one and only?
Perfectly sweet read and exactly what you need at this time of the year. I loved how determined Gabi was and went after what she wanted and how Travis realised that she was risking it all for. Highly recommended 4.2* Read.

A Diversion Into Their Forever Life -
Travis is Gabi’s dad’s hot best friend and therefore off limits, but the moment she pays eyes on him, she felt an inexplicable pull towards him. Travis also felt an attraction towards Gabi, but tried everything to hold himself back. However, all bets were off when they found themselves stranded together and their willpower could no longer hold them back. Their time together was epic, but reality cropped up and it took Gabi’s perseverance to give them their chance at a happily ever after.
In most age gap romance stories, the younger character usually has a long term crush, but in this story the heroine goes knows what she wants and makes it happen. The story truly grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it all the way until the end. It was a quick easy read, that gave me a break from my daily life for a few enjoyable hours. Take a chance and entertain yourself with this awesome book.

It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, age-gap, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her Dad's best friend Christmas romance. Gabrielle "Gabi" is an art student in her last year of college. Travis is a burly, hunky, ex-military man now a billionaire in his mid-40s. He's also the best friend of Gabi's dad. When Gabi comes home for Christmas and her dad's 50th birthday party, a snowstorm hits, and her Uber is unable to pick her up. Her dad sends Travis to retrieve her. The two are immediately attracted to one another, but Travis tries to resist due to their age difference and her father. But when they end up stranded at his family's old cabin, things get hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y quick. But what happens when the storm is over? The chemistry between these two was hot 🔥 hot 🔥 hot 🔥. There is some minor angst, but then we have a very happy ending.

The characters seemed so genuine and natural. They had an interest in what each one was saying they really were enjoying what was going on. Travis was picking Gabi up at the airport. She was flying in for her dad’s 50th birthday party. Travis is best friend’s with her dad. Gabi hasn’t seen Travis for a decade or so. They are barreling into a winter storm and hoping to make it to their destination before it hits. Even with the storm getting worse they continue to have an easy rapport but Gabi is feeling fizzes around her body. Gabi is excited. She feels butterflies. What is happening? Can Travis feel it too? I really enjoyed the characters! The love seemed so right. Really enjoyable read!.

Travis goes to pick up a friend's daughter when a snowstorm is starting and there's no other way for her to get home. Sparks fly when they meet, and the car ride is intense because of the storm. They make on last stop before continuing on and ends up getting stuck. Luckily, they are close to his cabin so they walk there to have shelter until they can leave. Its not long before things heat up between them. Will this become something more between them?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

A good love story
I enjoyed the love story of Travis and Gabi. Travis is Gabi's father's best friend and she's in love with him. Her father is having a big birthday party and really wants her to join him. Due to in climate weather (aka a wicked snowstorm) she might not make it. She does arrive at the airport but with the weather it's anyone's guess. Enter Travis to the rescue. Her father trust no one but him in this weather. He picks her up and the rest you'll have to read to see what happens. There aren't a lot of characters throughout out the story but when your snowbound there usually isn't. Besides they really aren't missed. It's really a good book. Written by Cindy :)

I loved Lost with my Dad's Best Friend: Stranded at Christmas. I love these Snowflake Falls books. Travis is picking up his best friend’s daughter from the airport, he wasn’t expecting to lose his heart the second he saw Gabi. But he must resist the pull as he’s almost 20 years older than her and she has her whole life ahead. Gabi wants Travis but he keeps pushing her away and she’s not having it. She just needs to make him see they belong together. Such a sweet storyline and lovable characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book was the WORST book I’ve EVER READ! I normally like romance (it’s all I read really aside from Frieda McFadden thrillers) and this was the WORST. It had ZERO flow, and the plot lacked in more ways then one. I would have like to see more conflict between the MMC and WMC, because there was none. The whole plot was they got stranded, had sex, and the next day was in love. There was no reality aspect AT ALL! I only finished it because it was 60 pages. The sex scenes were also a bit TOO graphic, if the author would have cut even half of the 2 sex scenes and there would have been room to put SOMETHING to make the plot at least READABLE! So bad, truly.

This is my first read by Jessa Joy and I really do look forward to checking out her other books. Especially the ones in her Snowflake Falls series.
This is Gabi and Travis’s story and it’s short, sweet and insta love with steam. Travis is Gabi’s dads best friend so he knows he shouldn’t be having these feelings for his best friends daughter. But the chemistry and connection is to hard for either to ignore when they’re stranded in a cabin during a snowstorm.
This was definitely another fantastic book that I highly recommend in the Christmas AB shared World Series.

They get stuck together in a snow storm on the way back to Snowflake Falls. Although he feels she is too young for him and he shouldn’t be looking at his friends daughter the way he is, Travis can’t contain how he feels. Sweet, steamy romance with amazing chemistry, true love, a little misunderstanding and a beautiful HEA.

Well this book was absolutely a fast read and insta love story between best friend daughter. Travis is single owns his own company and picks up his best friends daughter from the airport Gabrielle is back for her fathers birthday party but when they get snowed in together will lines get crossed? This is a fast insta love age gap taboo and such a great story.

I love this forbidden love trope and Lost with my Dad's Best Friend is a good representative of the category. I liked how Gabrielle didn't let the fact that Travis was older and best friends with her dad stop them from being together. And Traves struggled not to have that feeling, but when he let it happen, it was really sweet.

This was a really cute forced proximity age gap romance. Travis and Gabrielle had great chemistry right from the beginning. I liked the connection between them and the focus of the storyline was on them. The story was well written and had a great pace, sprinkle in some steam and that made for great entertainment.

This story was wild filled with the strife of traveling when the weather is bad from snow. Our couple connects despite her being the young daughter of MMCs best friend. Luckily Gabi has a good head on her shoulders. She's smart and knows what she wants. She sees a chance and takes it and I think I like that the most.

Exactly what I was looking for, as far as a very fast pace, love at first sight, forbidden love novel goes. What more could you want in 60 pages! There's even a sprinkle of spice and some light banter between the MC's that brings some background to the characters.It is a wild ride from start to finish, but it definitely gives you everything the title offers. For a quick lightly steamy forbidden romance read goes, definitely pick this book up.
