The man I love. The child I wanted. And my entire life on the verge of falling apart—
Niall saved me, against all odds. He brought me home to Boston, but this isn’t my home—and despite the fact that I wear his ring on my finger, I know he doesn’t want me here. He wouldn’t have brought me here at all, if not for the baby.
His baby. The only thing still holding us together, even more so than the vows that he didn’t mean. Or so he says.
But the one thing he can’t deny is how much he wants me. And when the heat between us spills over into more, we’re forced to face the truth of what we are to each other. Boston is full of Niall’s past—a past that doesn’t want me here—but I refuse to give up.
Since the moment he kissed me behind the Sangre de Angel, he was mine and I was his. I’ll do anything to keep the man I love, to earn his forgiveness, even if it means waiting forever. He might have married me only to save me from a monster…
…but I meant every single one of those brutal vows.

3.5⭐️ I’m a little disappointed with the final book in this trilogy. In the 3 books this series consisted of, the couple wasn’t even together until the last 25% of book 3. They had ALOT of s€x, a lot, book 3 mostly consisted of that, and Niall constantly fighting his feelings and telling Isabella they can’t be together. And we never got any final answers regarding Mexico and Diego, that was all just forgotten. I felt Niall never groveled enough and didn’t do anything to really earn Isabella’s forgiveness, he was kinda awful to her. Yes he paid for all her stuff, and she was given an apartment, but she never really had his support or him, just constant back and forth. And for that I would’ve loved to have seen her be stronger and not in bed every time Niall came around. It took an unfortunate incident to open his eyes and realize what he could have with Isabella for him to finally admit his feelings. And don’t even get me started on Saoirse, that b**** should’ve gotten told off for how she treated Isabella. I overall did enjoy this last book, I liked the concept of everything, just wished it had less s€x and more depth between the characters. Also would’ve been nice to have the couple together for all of book 3, and maybe some drama from Diego.
This last book of Isabella & Niall completes everything. We start at arriving in New York then Boston and end in Niall's initiation ceremony and the Epilogue of the birth.
I won't give too much away but all questions and challenges all get tied up in a neat red bow after an ultimate scene happens that finally makes Niall realise what he wants and so their life REALLY begins then.
I enjoy all the scenes. Sexy, loving, romantic, sensual and descriptive so that as a reader we can be there too.
There might be some things that others might pick at but who cares. There are spelling and grammar but not enough to ruin the story or annoy you.
Sometimes in a lot of series the last book doesn't complete every different little storyline or question you have as a reader. And so there is a Bonus Epilogue after the Epilogue but here I don't have any questions.
The ONLY thing I would've liked is the birth from Niall's POV just because alpha's handle their wife in pain badly and it's enjoyable to read. So a Bonus Scene with Niall's POV for birth and maybe a few months after with learning how to be a father/parent.
Great read. I thought it would be Elena's series up next but it seems to be Sasha & Max's.
This is by far my favorite book in this series!! Niall finally gets his happy ever after as well as the woman he loves! Their journey was not an easy one but their devotion and need for each other jumps off the page. Their connection is so strong but Niall has been burned and he is terrified to let his heart be broken again but Isabella is someone he can’t live without. He has to take a risk or he could lose her.
Isabella loves Niall with everything she is. He completes her and she wants to be his wife for real not jaunt in name sake because she can’t live a day without him in it. Their devotion and desires for each other is beyond sexy and quite romantic. Niall is one of my favorite Kings and this series is amazing. Their entire journey has been a whirlwind adventure and you will be throughly satisfied with their past, present, and future. Sad to see this series end but it was a phenomenal journey. Thanks again M. James for another amazing book. Happy Reading!!
If overtly sexual scenes leave you twitchy, skip this one
So much of this book was sex. Sex. Sex. Over and over. Filthy. Hard. Niall wants very much to be done with Isabella but he can’t quit her. And it’s a good thing since she matches him filthy sex for filthy sex. So, this is the plot: I can’t trust you. I want to be done with you. Sex. Sex. Sex. I can’t trust you. I want to be done with you. Well what do you know? I love you. And now, I’m inducted as a King at the table. Sex. Sex. Sex. Baby is born. Honestly, whittle the sex scenes down by half and you’ve barely got a novella. Let’s hope Max and Sasha have a better trilogy.
This is book three of The Santiago Cartel series and it is the final book in Isabella and Niall's story. What started out with lies and was meant just to be one night for Isabella and Niall ended up turning both their worlds upside down. Will they be able to get past the way things began with them? Or will Niall fight against the one thing that could truly make him happy? This book will answer all those questions and I truly look forward to reading more from this author.
I think Niall and Isabella are my favorite couple of the series, now looking at how Connor and saoirse treated them, they’re my least favorite. I also don’t care for Caterina and viktors actions anymore either. Ana seemed very weak as well. I do like how the author however does write the couples in more of a real life way, some are assholes, some aren’t. Everyone’s flawed. But I do think their story fell a little flat, I was expecting another kidnapping or some type of little dramatic scene with Diego reappearing
Arranged marriages, mafia kings and new beginnings
Isabella just wants Niall to love her, but he still keeps pushing her away. Each having their own places doesn't make her happy. Can she forge a new life for her and their baby without him, will he ever forgive her and love her as a husband should ???? Guess you'll have to read to the end and find out. I LOVED IT 😍 ♥️
3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️, good for a quick read , but the lass thing was kinda annoying ( like I get it at the beginning of the book Isabella’s age and girly personality was obvious, but then I became confused like why would he call the love of his life and his wife and the mother of his daughter “Girl” but in another language?) but it was pretty good!
This was a great series. All three books were short reads for me and loved that. First two books action packed and incredible. Last book…. While it was still a great read and had me tearing up within the first chapter, I felt like the storyline was missing some more drama. I would’ve loved to have read more about MMC’s ex going after FMC and having a dramatic triangle but still great HEA.
I waited two months for this darn book 😧 I love me a good mafia series but sometimes an author should really consider changing the story a bit to make the books different but with a thread of the storylines.. 😳😧
M James have written several good love story in these series. Santiago Cartel series had more personal violence to individual but the love story was even better.
I am surprised that there wasn't more cartel/mafia business in the book, especially between the Santiago's and Gonzales'. Thought there would be some ending to the fued, and that she would see her family.
