This had the potential to be a four star book, but after the initial excitement, the plot slows down to a glacial speed. It's just spice with a voice in the FMC head saying random things like: we will meet soon. We get some important, what should be life changing, OMG news, and she is like, oh that's interesting, but do you know what's more important than possibly saving the world? Spicy time. Let's spend 100+ more pages doing that with some random thoughts and quick chats in-between. Every time I thought the story might be going somewhere, she stopped for spicy time, one by one, with all of her RH individually. It got so boring.
As I write this, I realize I might be the first to review it. I hate that I disliked the lack of active plot line so much that I had to give this three stars. But I know for a fact people who love books that are more smut than the story will probably LOVE this book. I don't mind a lot of smut, IF there is an active story around it.
I think what really clenched it for me was when the FMC is having a miscarriage and states, 'I'm unhappy, but I will get over it soon enough.' WHAT?!?
I really enjoyed Wolf Princess by Raven Mooncrest. This book had me intrigued the whole time! I love how detailed Raven was in the story. I was even able to connect to the main character. I enjoyed reading and getting to know Asena and going with her on her journey finding her self and her true mate. The ending was so comforting, knowing that she was finally complete. Simply amazing ♥️
